Bailey's POV

They were supposed to try and rescue Erin and Ethan today. Their dad was letting me come along. I was so ready to see them, but mainly Erin. It's been 3 weeks. I needed to tell Erin what she needs to hear. She's going to be mine, and nothing is going to stop that.

Erin's POV

We were supposed to be going somewhere today. They didn't tell us where, or anything at all. Jack had overheard it. He was pretty great. Through everything that's happening, he still tries to crack a joke or make me happy.

Ethan and I hadn't spoken very much. Dani and I even less. I didn't like her. She stole my place. She took Ethan from me, so I let Jack do the same thing to him.

"Did you hear that?" Jack whispered. "What?" I asked. "It sounded like a car. There hasn't been a car in days," he said. I nodded and listened.

Then I heard a voice. "You'll give over the children or we will make a forced entry," the voice said. I heard Sarah's voice, "Oliver is there isn't he? He comes and I let them go, or they don't go at all."

"What do you want Sarah? I'll give you any amount of money," I heard my dad say. "I don't want your money. You come and I give the kids up, or you never see them again," she said. "You know, I've even got Allison's boy. And Dani," she said. It was silent for a little bit before I heard his voice say, "alright, I'm coming in."

I grabbed Jack's hand and waited for the door to open. After a few minutes it did and I saw Sarah. "All of you get up," she demanded. We did as she said. "Walk out there and tell them that if they try to come in, we'll shoot him," she said.

We nodded and walked out to the group of cars. Ethan told them what she had said and then we were led to an ambulance. We were all given blankets and told to stay there.

I was talking to Jack when I heard his voice. "Erin?" Bailey asked. I looked up at him. "That's my name," I said and looked down. He wrapped his arms around me, but I didn't hug him back. I wanted to more than anything, but I couldn't.

He pulled away and looked at me. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Don't you do this kind of thing with Kathryn now?" I asked. "No. Why would I do that?" He asked. "I saw a picture of you making out with her. And it wasn't like she just kissed you. You had your arms wrapped around her like you loved her," I said.

"Erin, I don't feel anything for her. I promise. You're so special to me and I wouldn't do something like to you," he said. I shook my head and looked away from him. His hand went under my chin and my teary eyes met his. "I love you Erin. I love you so much," he whispered.

Tears fell down my cheeks. Bailey wiped them away with his thumb and touched our noses together. I wanted him so bad. I pressed my lips against his and closed my eyes. The familiarity of his lips on mine made me melt.

I pulled away and rested our foreheads together. "I love you too Bailey," I whispered. He smiled and kissed my forehead before pulling away.

"So who are these two?" He asked. "That's Dani and this is my twin brother, Jack," I said. "Nice to meet you. I'm Bailey," he said and smiled to both of them. "Bailey McConnell?" Jack asked him. "Yeah. You look famil-" Bailey began but was cut off my a loud bang.

I looked at Ethan and we ran to the crowd of cars. A group of officers were shaking their heads. I tried to push through the group, but the officers held me back. "DAD," I screamed. Another bang went off and I sank to the ground. Ethan bent down beside me and picked me up.

Tears streamed down my face. I felt more arms wrap around me and then I was picked up bridal style by someone. I didn't know who it was and I didn't care. I just wanted to sleep, so I slept.
