"I cant beleive its raining" denki says looking out of the window in the living room. You and bakugo were walking inside the living room from the balcony "welp, thats california. You can never really predict the wealther." Everyone turned their heads to the hallways where you and bakugo walked out from."Oh hey y/n, i see your up early" kirishima said from over from the living room, seeming to have been doing.. pushups?

"Yeah, I just needed some air this morning," you smiled, walking to the couch and sitting down. Bakugo slumped right next to you, his arm brushing against yours. Mina took the other side of the couch, letting out a dramatic sigh.

"Ugh, I had plans for today but I guess they're canceled now... GUYS, I'M SO BORED!" Mina cried out dramatically, earning a pat on the back from you.

"Mina, I'm sure we can think of something to do." Instantly, she lit up.

"I KNOW! We can build a fort! I used to do that all the time when it rained - it was so cozy and fun!"

"Oh man, that actually sounds awesome!" Denki chimed in, already bouncing with excitement. "We could use the blankets from the closet!"

Sero grinned, holding up his arms. "My tape would make it super sturdy. No collapsing fort on my watch!"

"You're all acting like kids," Bakugo scoffed, though he remained comfortably settled next to you.

Iris shot him a playful glare. "Don't be such a party pooper, Bakugo. Y/n, make him participate!"

"Whatever," he muttered, sinking deeper into the couch.

While Denki and Mina eagerly gathered blankets and pillows from around the house, Sero and Iris began planning the fort's layout. You headed to the kitchen to collect chairs.

"Hey Bakugo," you called over your shoulder, "want to help me with these chairs?" He hadn't moved an inch, sprawled on the couch with his trademark scowl.

"Not happening," he replied, crossing his arms.

"Come on, you said you'd help!" you protested. When he didn't budge, you marched over and tugged at his arm. "Up, up, up!"

Like trying to move a boulder, your efforts barely made him shift. 'How is he this heavy?' you wondered, pulling with all your might. "Bakugo, please! You promised!" His smirk grew wider as he watched you struggle, clearly entertained by your determination. Denki and Mina returned with armfuls of blankets, and Sero began laying down tape foundations, all of them failing to hide their amusement at the scene. After what seemed like an eternity of tugging, Bakugo finally allowed himself to be pulled up - though you were certain he only moved because he wanted to. True to form, he immediately claimed a corner spot, declaring himself the "supervisor" while everyone else did the actual work.

The fort slowly took shape under everyone's combined efforts - Sero's tape creating sturdy support beams, while Denki and Mina draped blankets with surprising artistic flair. You couldn't help but notice how Bakugo's eyes followed your movements as you arranged pillows, his "supervision" seeming more focused on you than the actual construction. When Kirishima accidentally knocked down one section, Bakugo finally broke his self-imposed supervisory role, grumbling as he got up to help fix it properly.

An hour later, the fort stood complete - a masterpiece of blankets, pillows, and strategic tape placement. The living room had been transformed into a cozy hideaway, with fairy lights (discovered by Mina in a drawer) twinkling through the fabric layers, creating a magical atmosphere. Multiple entrances had been crafted, though Bakugo had claimed the "best spot" near the back corner, surrounded by the softest pillows.

"This... actually turned out pretty good," Bakugo admitted grudgingly, though his relaxed posture betrayed his true feelings about the fort.

"Of course it did! We're awesome at this!" Mina declared, proudly surveying their handiwork while arranging snacks in the center area.

You settled into a spot near Bakugo, admiring how the fairy lights cast soft shadows across the blanket ceiling. "I haven't done something like this since I was a kid," you mused, pulling a blanket over your legs.

"Okay everyone!" Mina suddenly clapped her hands together, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Let's play truth or dare!"

A collective groan filled the fort, but no one actually protested. After a few rounds of relatively tame truths and silly dares, Mina's eyes locked onto Bakugo with determination.

"Bakugo! Truth or dare?"

"Dare," he growled, clearly expecting something embarrassing.

"I dare you..." Mina paused dramatically, "to make us all breakfast sandwiches!"

Bakugo's eye twitched. "Seriously why cant you idiots every cook for urself, Raccoon Eyes."

"Um your food is always better," Denki chimed in hopefully.

"Fine," Bakugo snapped, pushing himself up. "But only because you extras would probably burn down the kitchen trying to cook yourselves."

As he started to leave the fort, his eyes met yours. You gave him an encouraging smile and a playful shooing motion, earning yourself a roll of his eyes - though you could've sworn you saw the ghost of a smile as he turned away.

Several rounds of truth or dare passed, with everyone having gone at least twice. The delicious aroma of cooking food began wafting from the kitchen, making everyone's mouths water. Your stomach let out a particularly loud growl, causing Mina to giggle.

"I'm going to check on those sandwiches," you announced, wrapping yourself in a blanket before leaving the fort. You padded into the kitchen, settling onto one of the stools at the island to watch Bakugo work.

He glanced over his shoulder, raising an eyebrow at your presence. "What, you just gonna watch me?"

"Yup," you replied cheerfully, pulling the blanket tighter around your shoulders. "And I want the first sandwich, please."

Bakugo scoffed, but you noticed he was already plating one. "Demanding much?"

""Only when it comes to your cooking," you smiled, watching him work with practiced efficiency. "Everything you make looks incredible."

"Someone's gotta show you what real food tastes like," he said, placing a perfectly assembled sandwich in front of you. His movements were precise, confident.

"Are you saying my cooking isn't real food?" you asked with mock offense.

"Have you seen the food you make?" he smirked, turning back to the stove. "All it is is instant ramen and lunch meat sandwichs."

"Hey and there nothing wring with that!" you protested, reaching for the breakfast sandwich.

"Boiling water doesn't count as cooking," he scoffed, but there was a hint of amusement in his voice. "Just eat your food before it gets cold."

You took a bite and couldn't help the appreciative hum that escaped. The blend of flavors was perfect. "Okay, fine. You win. This is amazing."

He tried to hide his pleased expression by focusing intently on the pan, but you caught the slight upturn of his lips. "Of course it is. Now stop talking and eat."

Eventually everyone came over to eat their breakfast whitch was delicous.

The afternoon passed in a whirlwind of laughter and friendly competition as everyone took turns playing various Roblox games, from obstacle courses to building challenges. In between gaming sessions, you all gathered around for intense rounds of Uno and Cards Against Humanity, with Spotify's curated playlists providing the perfect background ambiance through the TV speakers. Despite being confined indoors due to the weather, the casual atmosphere and constant chatter made the hours slip by unnoticed. The comfortable fort setting only added to the cozy vibe, with everyone sprawled out on pillows and wrapped in blankets as they played.

To everyone's surprise, it was already approaching 8 PM - time had flown by so quickly that no one had even noticed the late hour. As the card games wound down, excitement built up for the evening's main event: a carefully planned movie marathon featuring the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy. The group had specifically chosen these movies for their perfect blend of action, humor, and heart - exactly what was needed to cap off such a laid-back day.

As the second movie began playing, you found yourself settled comfortably next to Bakugo. The fort's cozy atmosphere, combined with the gentle patter of rain outside and the warmth radiating from him, made your eyelids grow increasingly heavy. Without really thinking about it, you let your head drift sideways until it came to rest on his shoulder.

For a moment, you felt Bakugo tense slightly, and a small part of your brain wondered if you should move. But then, almost imperceptibly, he shifted to give you a better angle, his body relaxing beneath you. The gesture was so subtle, so careful, as if he was trying not to disturb you.

Through your drowsy haze, you noticed how he lowered the volume of the movie just slightly, and how his breathing seemed to synchronize with yours. The familiar scent of caramel and spice that always seemed to surround him was oddly comforting, making you feel safe and protected.

Bakugo glanced down at your peaceful face, something soft and uncertain flickering across his features. This wasn't like him - letting someone get this close, being this gentle. Yet here he was, barely daring to breathe too deeply for fear of disturbing your sleep. The realization that he actually liked having you this close hit him with surprising force.

Everyone else was too engrossed in the movie to notice the small smile that crept onto his face, or how his hand had unconsciously moved closer to yours. In that quiet moment, surrounded by friends but lost in their own little bubble, both of you felt something shift - though neither was quite ready to name it yet.
