Laurens POV:

AT THE WEDDING

I walked into the plaza. Everyone was having so much fun. I put on my half fake smile, and I saw Angelica walking towards me.
"Welcome!" She was... crying? Why would she be crying? She seems happy though. Although, it does look... fake?

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!" I asked her, concerned. She stumbled, and I caught her. Her smile vanished, and she started balling. She collapsed onto the ground. Luckily, we were in a place where no one could see us. I just sat down beside her, waiting respectfully, with a worried look on my face.

"Hey... shh... it's okay..." I conforted her. She eventually stopped crying.

"Don't tell ANYONE this happened!!" She almost screamed at me.

"Woah! I'm just trying to help! Now, why are you crying?" I asked her, taken aback.

"I'm just... happy for them." She said, lying terribly.

"That's not happy crying I saw there." I pointed out.

"Fine. I am happy for them, but Alex..." She started crying again. I calmed her down.

"YOU LIKE ALEX AS WELL?!" I bursted out without thinking. She turned her head to me in an instant.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'AS WELL'?!" She said defensively, blushing, and shocked. I realized what I said. FRICK.

"I- uh...." I didn't know what to say. I was speechless. Angelica stared at me baffled, tears running down her face, yet she wasn't making a sound.

"No... you don't... do you? YOU LIKE HIM?!" She asked, astonished.

"Uh..." I hoped I wasn't blushing. I was. HARD.

"YOU DO! I'M NOT ALONE!" She shouted, relieved. She then did the strangest thing, that caught me extremely off guard. SHE KISSED ME.

"Uh...! I... uh..." I sputtered.

"Oh my gosh! I- I'm so sorry!" She ran off. I followed, and I stumbled into Alex.

"Laurens! You made it!" Alex exclaimed. I ran passed him, and I left him there, puzzled.

"Angelica!" I called out. I ran into the trees nearby. I found Angelica there, crying, again. I came and sat by her. We talked for a bit, then we went back to the wedding, made a few toasts, and then I couldn't find her again, for a solid three minutes. I found her, and before she noticed me, she whispered to herself,

"I will never be satisfied..."
