The Café

Today's a Saturday.

Wonho and I are doing our homework at the café but...

There's some distraction.

No wait...

It's a HUGE one.

Despite working, Eunwoo and Wonho are both glaring at each other.

The tension between them can be felt by everyone.

My brother.

Shownu and the others.

The rest of the customers as well.

It has been like this ever since Eunwoo started working at the café.

With him working now, the café was always packed in the afternoons during weekdays and Saturday morning which was his shift along with Kihyun, Shownu and Minhyuk. The afternoon shift was taken by Wonho, Hyungwon (so he can sleep in the morning), I.M, Jooheon & Gunhee. My brother divided them like this on Saturday so that Wonho and Eunwoo wouldn't go clashing with each other again.

"What do you mean again?" I asked my brother in his office. I left Wonho outside while he tried to answer our Math homework.

"Oh boy... I think I shouldn't have told you..."

"Oppa!"

"Arasseo! Arasseo! It happened when you had a fever..."

...

"What did you and your brother talk about?" Wonho asked when I came back from my brother's office.

"Yah, Shin Hoseok..."

"Hmm? What's wrong?"

I looked around and saw Eunwoo at the counter. I motioned for him to come over.

"Why are you calling Eunwoo over?" Wonho asked.

"Shut it!"

"Eh?!"

"Yes? What is it?" Eunwoo asked when he came.

"Sit down... NOW!"

A little later...

"It was his fault!" Wonho said. "If he didn't start telling stories..."

I turned to face Eunwoo who was seated beside Wonho.

"What?! I was just telling him of that time I stayed over at your house to take care of you..."

"Oh you mean that time? Yes, I remember it very well because you tried going inside my room but my brother caught you and dragged you inside his room where you had to sleep."

I heard Wonho smirk while Eunwoo scratched his head in embarrassment and then...

"He had to show off! Just because he was able to sleep with you already... He even called me jealous!"

"I did not!" Wonho replied back.

"Yes you did!" Eunwoo shouted back.

"Yah, yah, YAH!"

Wonho & Eunwoo stopped fighting and looked at me, so did the others.

"This is worse than your rivalry with Myungsoo. The two of you, promise me something."

"Yes?" they both said at the same time.

"That there will be NO MORE FIGHTING between the two of you."

They both looked at each other.

"Impossible." said Wonho.

"Not gonna happen."

"I see. Well in that case, I'll just suspend you both from all club activities, furthermore, I won't talk to the two of you next week. Well?"

...

"Fine." said Wonho.

"As if we have any choice." said Eunwoo.

"Good! Now, if I hear one more bickering, you both know what will happen next. If you two want to argue, make sure I won't hear or see it, do you understand?"

They both nodded.

"Now, face each other, smile and shake hands."

"Yah, do we have to?" asked Wonho.

"I don't want to!!!" Eunwoo complained.

"Fine, if that's what you two want then..."

Wonho and Eunwoo quickly faced each other, smiled and shook hands.

"There! Was that so had to do? Eunwoo, go back to your work now. Are you done answering our Math homework? Hmm? Wonho?"

And that was how I managed to get the two to agree on a non-aggression pact although, there would be some flare ups between them but one look from me and they'll stop.

There was something odd with both Myungsoo and Jihyun because for the past few days, they've increasingly not joined us at the café after school. Myungsoo will go to his dad while Jihyun goes to the bookstore, something not strange but every day? Hmmm...

And lastly, Eunwoo started honouring the Help Club's deal with BLACKPINK meaning he had to go out with each one of them for four consecutive Saturdays. After his shift at the café, one of the four would arrive and then they were off! Wonho always ha d a good time watching him leave.

Campaign month starts today at our school!

On one side, the Student Council's standard bearer was the Secretary, Namjoon who is now running for the Presidency with Eunji as his Vice-President! Mark is now running for the position of Secretary, Ahn Heeyeon also known as Hani for Treasurer and Mingyu as the PRO. Along with them are the various representatives for each level running under or with the BTS party.

The BTS Party or "Believe in Transformation through Service Party is the successor party of Pres. Doojoon's BEAST Party which stood for "Better Education Alliance through Service & Transformation." It was the party which won during the last student council election. The top 5 positions of president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and PRO all came from this party and so were half of the batch/ year/ level representatives while the other half came from the losing party who won in their respective levels.

We were at the clubroom after classes when Eunji came to visit.

"So, who are you guys up against?" asked Ken.

"It's a new one and they look very serious." said Eunji. "Two weeks ago during the day for the registration of the political parties..."

FLASHBACK

EUNJI'S POV

Hani, Mingyu and I all went to the Student Council's office where NAmjoon and Mark were waiting for us. We signed the necessary papers and had our pictures taken.

"Now, let's wait for the others to come. Have you guys heard of any other parties?" asked Doojoon. "I've been busy with a lot of things recently."

"Sorry sunbae, we haven't heard any talk or rumour either." I said.

"I didn't pick up any talk about that in my class either." said Mingyu. "They were busy talking about the Paranormal Club's prediction for our class."

"Oh! They do that?!" asked Doojoon. "Do you think we can ask them to predict who would be the winner for this election?"

"Doojoon!" Sandara said as she hit him in the arm.

"Ouch! Okay! Okay! I'm just kidding! Jeez..."

"Although..." said Hani.

"YES?!" We all said at the same time as we looked at her.

"Um... the Paranormal Club did the same for our class."

Our expectations suddenly went down.

"How about your class Eunji?" asked Namjoon. "Isn't Leo with you still?"

"Well, he's always quiet but I'll try to ask him when I see him."

We waited for at least an hour until... a knock on the door.

"Yes! Please come in!" said Hyuna.

The doors opened and 5 male students came in.

The last one to enter made the student council surprised, very surprised.

"Um, are you guys here to register your party for the elections?" asked Sandara.

"Yes."

I can't be mistaken.

It's Junmyeon, Kyungsoo, Yixing, Chanyeol and Jongin?!

"Yah Kim Jongin, you're part of their party too?" asked Namjoon.

"Yes. Why? Is there something wrong?" he replied.

Mingyu and Hani both went beside me.

Hani whispered "Yah, isn't that the guy who sabotaged the clubs during the school festival?"

"As far as I remember, yeah, you're right."

"This is huge! What could his or their intentions be?" asked Mingyu.

"We have to sign some papers right?" asked Suho.

"Oh, yes. Hyuna?" said Doojoon. A little later, Hyuna presented them the papers to be signed.

They gave it Doojoon after signing them all.

"The EXO Party huh? Education X Order?" he asked.

"Yes. We intend to make sure everyone in this school excels academically while having strict discipline and order." said Junmyeon.

"That way, rebels and bullies won't be able to flourish freely, Mr. President." said Yixing.

"Like it did ever since your term started." said Kyungsoo.

"Your administration didn't do enough to stop the lawlessness in this school Instead you had to rely on a club to get rid of the bullying problems." said Chanyeol.

"Bullies who take advantage of others, like me, remember?" said Jongin.

An awkward silence descended upon the room.

It was broken by an angry Namjoon.

"Excuse me but, are you saying we were ineffective?"

"No, you're the one who said that, not us." said Junmyeon. "Besides, we merely pointed out the one fatal flaw of your council's administration."

"WHAT?! Yah! I think you're going overboard!" Namjoon shouted.

"You're the one who's going overboard by shouting." Junmyeon fired back.

"Why you!" Namjoon was about to get to Junmyeon but his co-members were able to stop him.

"Okay! Stop it Namjoon!" said Mark.

"Calm down you two!" Doojoon shouted. "There will be no fighting in this office, and not right in front of me either!"

Tension filled the room. It was coming from both Namjoon and Junmyeon.

"Since you're done signing the papers, it's time to take your pictures. Mark? Please."

"On it!" Sit down, okay?" Mark said to Namjoon as he grabbed his camera. "Please go over to that spot so we can take your pictures."

Once they were done having their pictures taken, they proceeded towards the door. But before they left, Junmyeon turned around and looked at Namjoon.

"This school badly needs order and discipline. I'm sure you all know that and we have the will to impose just that."

He smiles before finally leaving.

"They sound serious with what they said!" exclaimed Irene.

"Very serious." Myungsoo added.

"Fighting!" said Eunwoo.

"Yep. I think we'll be having a serious challenge." said Eunji.

"I'm sure you guys can do it. I mean, the school population is relatively satisfied with what President Doojoon has done for the school." I said to her.

"Yeah and if you guys will continue that, then the school would be even better." said Wonho.

"Besides, although they were a bit right about what they said about the rebels and bullies problem of the school, I mean they did really rely on us somehow, I still think we did the right thing to you know, change the Black Roses into good guys and then stop the tyranny of the Stars... or *looks at Ken and they start giggling* the Fallen Stars! Hahahahaha!"

Woohyun and Ken kept laughing so we ignored them.

"Don't worry too much Eunji. We'll vote for you guys and support you!" said Seolhyun.

"Thanks so much everyone! But um... actually, I didn't only went here to chat..."

A little later, we were at the office of the student council.

"We're really sorry guys for making this request but, please?" asked Sandara.

"It's okay sunbae. We understand. You all have to prepare for the campaigns, elections and transition. Posting these um, flyers and posters won't be a problem." I said.

"Oh and Eunji told us what happened last time. Please don't think you used us to take care of the bully problem, or so as said by Junmyeon." said Jihyun.

"Thank you guys. Um, but it's true right? I mean we did use you guys." said Doojoon.

"But still, we did it even without you guys telling us. That's the main point. I mean me, and the rest of the Black Roses changed because that's what Seulong hyung told us if we want to continue working at the café and as for the Stars, they brought it on their own selves and we just finished them off." said Wonho.

"Heol! I never thought we'd hear something like that from Wonho. Hahaha! Keep loving him, okay?" Namjoon told me.

"Yah! Stop that..." I told him. Wonho was smiling at me.

They handed us the posters and flyers to be posted and give to everyone. They also told us the places where could only post the posters. With that done, we left and started our work.

We decided to start at the ground floor area of the school first.

The boys set to work posting the posters while we girls handed the flyers.

All was going well until we came to the 3rd floor.

We were busy giving flyers while Wonho and the others were posting the posters when Myungsoo spotted the EXO party coming from the other side.

"Omo, what are they doing here?" asked Jihyun.

"Is that them?" asked Seolhyun.

"I think so..." I said.

"Yep, it is them." said Irene.

"I hope they don't cause any trouble." said Eunwoo.

"Why do I feel like that won't be the case?" said Wonho.

"Get ready, here they come!" said Woohyun.

"What are you guys doing?" asked Junmyeon.

"We're posting some posters and giving some flyers." I told him.

"Yah, you're the head of the Kelp Club, right?" Chanyeol asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Help Club and yes, you're correct. Why?"

"Who told you to do this?" asked Junmyeon.

"The Student Council made a request earlier. They asked us to have these posted and given." said Wonho.

"Tch, asked? More like ordered." said Jongin.

"Yah, aren't you the one who the student council caught last year?" Myungsoo said as he pointed at Jongin.

"Oh! The one who sabotaged our club and the other clubs participating in the Battle of the Bands?!" asked Woohyun.

"Yeah! It's you!" said Jihyun.

"Ancient history isn't the topic here." said Yixing.

"What the SC demanded of you isn't right. Stop it." said Kyungsoo.

"Excuse me?!" I asked.

"They're practically ordering you around. Can't you see they're using you guys?" asked Junmyeon.

"No, because that's not how we see it." I replied back to him.

"And the student council doesn't think of it like that either." said Eunwoo.

"Oh! Pretty boy's being feisty! You're Cha Eunwoo aren't you? The new top handsome guy of our school? Hahahaha! Baloney." said Jongin.

"And what do you mean by that?!" Eunwoo angrily asked.

"Nothing. It's just that you don't look handsome and you're just showing off." said Jongin.

"Oh come on Jongin, let's make it simpler for him." said Junmyeon. "You, and the rest of your silly club by the way are pathetic losers who are treated as servants by this school's ruling elite."

That turned on a switch inside the minds of Wonho, Woohyun, Ken, Myungsoo and Eunwoo. The five of them went in front us and faced Junmyeon and his group.

"Yah, it's fine with me if it's just me whom you guys call as pathetic losers but the rest of my friends as well? I don't think that's right." Eunwoo said with a serious face.

"Yeah! Education X Order party? You guys want to impose order here when you guys don't have order amongst yourselves? Ha! You guys make me laugh!" Seolhyun told them.

"Maybe it's you guys who are the pathetic losers." I told them.

Junmyeon smiled. "Really?"

The Clinic

"And what did you boys get yourselves into?!"

Miss Taeyeon, the school's nurse shouted as we brought Wonho, Woohyun, Ken, Myungsoo and Eunwoo inside the clinic.

"They were in some fighting?" I said.

"Fighting?!" She looked at them. "Wonho I'll believe but the rest? *looks at Eunwoo* No, I don't think so!"

Eunwoo was surprised to hear this from her. "Yah! I can fight too!"

"eShush! You five! Sit down here at once!"

The fight between the Help Club boys and the EXO party quickly spread in the entire school even though it was already after class hours.

We helped Nurse Taeyeon get the necessary items to treat their wounds.

"I thought you stopped being a rebel, huh, Wonho?" Nurse Taeyeon said.

"I did but... Ow! That hurt!... Those guys were threatening the girls so we had to protect them!" Wonho said as he pointed at us.

"Ma'am, I'll take care of him. The others need you too." I told Nurse Taeyeon.

"Okay and thank you dear. You should consider yourself lucky to have a caring girlfriend like her." Miss Taeyeon said to Wonho before going to Woohyun.

"Thanks for doing that for us but look at what happened to you... I'm sorry..." I said to Wonho.

"Yah, you don't have to apologize. I only did what a guy should do if his girl is threatened. Besides, this is the fault of Junmyeon and his friends! Aish! If I can only..."

"Only what?" Woohyun asked. We were all looking at Wonho.

"Ah... nothing... never mind..."

"Who did this to all of you anyway? What happened?!" Nurse Taeyeon asked.

"It's the EXO Party ma'am." said Seolhyun.

"Excuse me? Who?"

"They're one of... ow! Irene, that stings!... they're one of the two parties that would be running in the student council elections." said Ken.

"Hold still!" Irene told Ken.

"The EXO Party?" asked Nurse Taeyeon.

"Yes ma'am. According from what he heard, it stands for Education X Order Party. They want to make sure everyone here would do well in their studies while having strict discipline and order." said Myungsoo while Jihyun tended to his wounds.

"Really? During my time at the student council, we didn't have this fights! But wait, why did you five get into a fight with them? Wonho said they threatened you girls?"

"Yes ma'am. You see, the student council made a request earlier. They asked us to post these posters and give out some flyers regarding about the election." said Eunwoo as placed some lotion on Eunwoo's right cheek.

"And then they came and asked what we were doing. When we explained to them, they started getting cocky and told us we were just being used by the student council. They started mocking Eunwoo and before long, their leader, Junmyeon called us pathetic losers... um... what was the rest guys?" Seolhyun asked.

"Pathetic losers who are being treated as servants by the school's ruling elite." I completed it for Seolhyun. "We countered that by saying to them they want to impose order here when they themselves don't have order within them. And I returned to them what they told us, that they were the pathetic losers, not us."

"And that's when they attacked. It was..." Wonho was cut short by Nurse Taeyeon.

"You can all explain when the student council arrives."

The door opened and in came Saeron who immediately ran towards Woohyun.

"Oppa! I heard that you and the others got into a fight! Are you alright? Are you hurt somewhere? Do you need anything?!"

"Searon-ah! Hahaha! Don't worry! I'm alright!"

"Really?" Saeron asked as she touched the side of the Woohyun's lip.

"Ouch! Okay I was hurt..."

A little later, the student council the EXO party and us, the Help Club were inside the conference room with Principal Park, Vice-Principal Yang, Mr. Kim, the Head of Student Affairs and Sir. Eric, the Head of the Discipline Office as well as Sir. K.Will.

All three groups explained what their side of what happened.

"Well, there is nothing wrong with what the Student Council did. There's nothing in the rules that forbids such thing and besides, they made an official request to the Help Club whose main job or responsibility is to do those requests." said Mr. Kim.

"But on the other hand, based from we all heard, I think the fault lies within the EXO party here. They instigated the fighting by mocking the Help Club and to some extent, the Student Council as well." said Sir. Eric.

Principal Park sighed and looked at Junmyeon and the others. "And what do you have to say for yourselves?"
