Matt's POV
It was late at night and my parents were having another screaming match, "WHO IS THAT GIRL I SAW ON YOUR SCROLL!" My mother yelled, "WHY ARE SO WORRIED ABOUT ME CHEATING WHEN I SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT YOU SPENDING ALL OUR MONEY" my father yelled, I heard a door slam and footsteps retreating into the front yard, I decided I didn't want to be here any longer, so I packed a bag and grabbed a jacket(Gus's jacket he let Matt have), I opened my window and started out it when the door flung open, "And where the hell do you think you're going?!" My father asked, "I was uhm" I started, He grabbed my face, "I SAID WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" He screamed in my face, "I was going to a friends house" I said, He let go of my face making me fall to the floor, My bag spilt, I went to put everything back, when my father picked up Gus's jacket, "We never gave you this" he said, "WHO FUCKING JACKET IS THIS?!" He yelled, "It's-It's my friend's" I said, with tears in my eyes, "then why is it A FUCKING BOYS JACKET" My father said, "Since my friend is a boy" I said, "Why do you have it" he asked, "because he gave it to me" I said under my breath, "HE WHAT!?" My father yelled, "YOU FUCKING DISAPPOINTMENT" he screamed as he slapped me across the face, that's when the tears start falling down, "STOP CRYING" He screamed again, "of course you ended up being gay" he said, he grabbed my face to make me look at him, "if you tell anyone about this, There will be horrible consequences" he said, he let go of my face and slammed my door, I sat there for a few minutes to wipe my tears when I got up and climbed out the window, I ran to Gus's house as fast as I could, I got up to his window and started tapping. After tapping for about ten minutes the window opened, "Matty?" Gus asked rubbing his eye, "what are you doing here? And what happened to your cheek?!" He asked, "Yea, uhm can I stay here for a few hours" I asked, "Yea sure" Gus said, He help me climb in, "So care to explain to me what happened to your cheek?" He asked, "Oh it's nothing" I said, "Ok..." Gus said

About an Hour later....

Gus's POV
Matty fell asleep faster than I thought, Leaving me awake next to him, "what happened to his cheek?" I thought, "why doesn't he want to tell me" I thought, "mhmm" Matty groaned as he head fell on my shoulder, "well at least he safe now, right?" I thought, I lean my head on his head and fell asleep.

Perry's POV
I got up and got ready, I went to get Gus up when I saw another kid on his bed, "Ha ha I always knew he was gay" I thought, I quietly closed the door and went back out, I started breakfast, When I heard his door open again, "Morning dad" Gus said, "Hey Gus" I said, he grabbed some water and started walking back, "You know Gus, If you really wanted to have a sleepover with a friend you could've asked, I would've said yes" I said, Gus Peeked his head from the hallway, "You know?" He asked, "Yes, Now come sit and tell me about them" I said, Gus sat down, "So what's their name?" I asked, "His name Is Matt Tholomule" Gus said, "Mhm and when can I meet him" I asked, "I uhm not sure" Gus said, "Ok, I've taken you long enough you can go back" I said and got up, Gus got up and walked back to his room.

Marty's POV
My scroll kept blowing up,

Dad:WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU

Dad:ONCE YOU GET HOME YOUR GETTING THE BEATING OF YOU LIFE!

I started to pick at my nails, Gu walked in with water for me, "Hey you ok?" He asked, "Mhmm" I said, Gus looked down at my scroll, "Matt are you ok?" Gus asked, "Yep" I said, "You know you can tell me anything" He said, I felt tears fill up in my eyes, Gus hugged me as I started crying, "Hey hey hey it's ok" Gus said, I finally stopped crying, Gus left to get some tissues, He came back  and gave some to me, I wiped my eyes, "I should start leaving now" I said, "Are you sure?" Gus asked, "Yea" I said, "Text or call me when you get home" Gus said, as he helped me get out the window, I walked home, I slowly opened the door, The coast was clear, I quietly started walking to my room, "and where the hell were you?!" My father asked, "I was uhm" I started, He grabbed a belt and slapped me in the face, That's when I heard a motorcycle reve from the front yard, "STEVE" I thought, "It's up fucking brother that's making you soft" My father  said as he hit me again, "Your such a disappointment!" He yelled at me, He was about to hit me again when Steve walked in, "HEY!" Steve said as he got in front of me, "MOVE THE FUCK ASIDE" My father yelled, "DON'T FUCKING HIT HIM" Steve yelled at him, "YOUR SOFTNESS MADE HIS GAY, HES FUCKING GAY CAUSE OF YOU" My father yelled, Steve turned to me, "Hey bud, Go to your room, I'll meet you there" He said to me, I nodded and ran to my room, I closed my door and hid under my bed, Then I remembered, "text or call me when you get home" Gus voiced echoed in my head, I got my scroll out and texted him a thumbs up, He responded with "Good see you soon" I smile a little, That's when I heard my door open, "Matt?" Steve said, I crawled out of from under my bed, He had a bruise on his cheek, "Pack little bag ok" He said, "Ok" I said, I looked down, "Hey I'm ok, I promise" Steve said, "Now pack a bag for about Four nights" Steve said, "Ok" I said, He wiped a tear from my eye, "I'll be in my room, If dad tries anything, Scream as loud as you can, And I'll come help you, ok?" Steve said, "yes" I said, He left and I got a bag out and started putting some clothes in, I put a blanket and finished. That's when my door flung open, "where the hell do you think you're going now" My father asked, "I uh I" I started, "ANSWER ME" he yelled as he grabbed my face, he was about to hit me when I screamed, Steve ran it, "HEY! FUCK OFF!" Steve yelled at him, "I CAN DOING WHAT I FUCKING WHAT TO DO TO HIM!" My father yelled, Steve pushed him out of the way and grabbed my arm, "Get your bag" He said, I grabbed my bag we stopped by his room to get his bag as we walked out, "YOU CAN'T FUCKING TAKE HIM" My father yelled, Steve helped me into his sidecar and gave me a helmet, "Do you want to get lunch?" Steve asked, I nodded, "Ok where do you wanna go?" Steve asked, "The diner!" I said, "ok" Steve laughed a little, we pulled up and I got out, we went in and ate, we went back out and got back on the motorcycle, "Where will we be staying?" I asked, "I was thinking about maybe we can stay with Lilith" Steve said, "Ok!" I said, I liked Ms, Lilith she really kind to us, We pulled up and I said hello to Ms, Lilith, she showed us where we can stay, Steve walked in, "Dads gonna be super mad  when I have to come home" I said, "Hey I promise he won't hurt you" Steve said, "He will when you leave" I said with tears in my eyes, "When you go to rebuild the isle" I said, "Then I'll start bringing you with me" Steve said, I looked at him, "Promise?" I said, "Promise" he said, "You're probably tired, Go sleep ok" Steve said, " Ok" I said, I lied down on the bed and fell asleep.
