A/N: Hey there everyone. So this is chapter 15. I am going to start this chapter out with Lacey but I don't know how far into it I can honestly go with it from her POV. I might switch it over to Landon so we can all hear from him also. This is the first time I have done a multiple POV. But I kind of what to get a little info out there from Lacey and Landon so here we go. Oh and in the next chapter we will see Luc and Holden's relationship take off. I know I do these things slow but I like to build the relationships instead of having them jump right into it. Any ways on with the show.

Lacey's POV

I am so excited about being in our new place. I hated to leave mom like we did but I couldn't stand back and let shit continue. I know for a long time I was a part of all of the abuse that Lucas got but when I went digging around to try and find our dad I didn't expect to find out that mom was a lying bitch. I felt like shit after learning everything I had. Luc was a victim in all of it. 

"Hello" Gran said answering her phone.

"Hey Gran, it's Lace." I said.

"Hey sweetheart, how are you?" She asked.

"I'm good. We got everything moved yesterday and now I am finishing up my room but I wanted to call and check in with you." I said.

"Well the doctors said she is normal so they let her out. I have decided that your mom is a spoiled ass brat and it is all your Grandfather Jim's fault." Gran said making me giggle on the inside. I would have laughed out loud but Gran wasn't being funny.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked.

"I am going to talk her into selling the house and moving up north with him." She said. Gran and Grandfather are still married but live a hundred miles apart. He calms to be hunting and she calms to be needing a break. Why they are still married I have no idea but what ever. 

"Do you think she will do it?" I asked.

"Well I talked him into coming down here and talking to her." She said.

"Really he is leaving his cabin?" I asked.

"For your mom yes." She said with disgust in her voice.

"Well I hope to be able to see him. I haven't seen him since Christmas." I said.

"Don't hold your breath." Gran said with a sigh.

"I won't. Oh and I would like to invite you to come over for lunch next Saturday." I said hoping that every one could get a long.

"I would love too. I have a lot of making up to do and some apologizing to your father to do also." She said sounding sad.

"Well, I think once we all sit and talk nobody is going to hold anything against anyone." I said hoping that was true.

"I hope so honey." She said.

"Well Gran, I need to go. I have to finish up here so I can go help dad with his stuff." I said smiling at the thought of spending time with dad. I love my dad and I always have.

"Okay, baby girl. I will talk to you soon." She said before hanging up.

I put my phone on the night stand and went back to putting away my clothes. I could hear Luc and Holden goofing around in Luc's room and I smiled to myself. I like the sound of that. I like that Holden makes my brother happy. 

"Hey, we need to get some food in here do you have any money?" Landon asked from my doorway.

"I have like thirty dollars in my purse." I said.

"I think that is all I have too. Let me go as Luc if he has any." He said leaving me to finish putting my shit away. I didn't hear Luc and Holden goofing around anymore so that meant Landon was in there with them. I know it is hard for Landon to see one of his friends lusting after Luc but I have to say i am proud of Land for not trying to break them up. Landon isn't homophobic or anything but he is kind of territorial and he thinks Holden should be his and not Lucas's. I think he see what everyone else sees when they look at them two. Love. All you see is love when they are together.

"Hey, Luc and Holden are going shopping do you want them to pick you up anything?" Land asked walking into my room.

"Tea, bottled water and some chips and dip." I said handing him the money. He quickly takes the money and does something on his phone before leaving me to finish up. I am almost done thank gosh.

I headed to the main house once I was finished with my room. I didn't know I had all those clothes. I am glad Gran let Land and I come get our stuff while she had mom in the hospital. From the looks of our old house she trashed it. I hope Gran can get her to leave with Grandfather.

"Hey daddy, need some help?" I asked finding our dad in the living room going through some boxes.

"Actually, I do need someone to set up the extra rooms upstairs. I have the beds and stuff where I want them I just need them made and curtains and stuff hung." He said placing pictures on the mantel of us when we were little.

"Okay, I can do that." I said heading up the stairs. 

It only took about two hours to get the bedrooms and the two bathrooms done. Dad's room was all set up but the third floor had become the storage area. I decided to leave that alone and go see what everyone else was doing. I found all the men in my life in the kitchen watching Lucas try and cook.

"So what's for dinner?" I asked sitting next to Landon at the breakfast bar.

"He is trying to make spaghetti." Land said.

"Luc, do you even know how to cook?" I asked.

"Somewhat, I took classes in school and Harvey's mom would let me help if I was over there during dinner. Sometimes when you guys would be gone I would make my own dinners. But I cannot promise that this is going to be any good." He said chuckling.

"I'm keeping an eye on things and so far so good." Dad said laughing.

"I helped make the sauce and I know that is going to be awesome." Holden said winking at Luc. That week we stayed with Holden and Brook, Holden had cooked a couple of times and the food was amazing so I believe him.

"The house is starting to look like a home." I said.

"Yeah, I like the way it feels. I think we picked a good one." Dad said looking around with pride.

"I love this place." Holden said.

"I want to explore the woods behind the barns." Land said.

"We own a lot of the land but not all of the woods so be careful." Dad said.

"Should we fence off what is ours or at least mark it?" Luc asked.

"I don't want to put a fence in the woods but I am having the land committee come out and put markers up so we know what is ours and what is our neighbors." Dad said.

"Have you figured out what you are going to do with the other out buildings?" Land asked.

"Well one of them is going to be my shop. I want a place I can go and build things or maybe restore a car. I have always wanted to do that." Dad said looking happy about his little dream.

"What kind of car?" Holden asked.

"Not sure, I guess what ever I find at a good deal. I will do some research and see what is going to be a good car that is easy, cheap and looks good to rebuild." Dad said.

"Luc, you might want to check your noodles." Holden said.

"I think there done." Luc said pulling out a noodle and wiggling it in the air.

"That's not how you tell if they are done." Dad said walking over to Luc and taking the noodle and threw it at the wall. The noodle fell onto the floor. "There done." Dad said smiling.

"That was really gross." Land said.

"If it wasn't done it would have stuck to the wall but because it is done it fell." Dad said with a shrug.

"That is good to know." Luc said draining the water from the noodles. He added them to a bowl and then pulled out some garlic bread from the oven. Every thing looked and smelled really good.

"I'll set the table." I said jumping up and heading to the cabinets for plates and forks.

I set the table while Landon and dad poured glasses of tea for everyone and Holden and Luc put the food on the table. I like this, the whole family working together. With mom she did all the work and if we would have let her she would have feed us too. I miss the nice her the one that would play games with us or talk to us. But now that I look back at all of this I see how fake it was. She has always done everything for herself. To make herself look good. To brainwash us against Luc and dad. Every thing she did was to benefit herself.

Landon's POV (I hope I didn't do to bad with Lacey's)

"Holden is to make the sauce every time we have this." I said before adding another mouthful of this awesome spaghetti to my mouth. It was almost moan worthy.

"If I am here I will." He said. Like he is going to leave. The ass is in love with my brother.

"I am sure that you will be around, a lot" Lacey said winking at Luc. 

"I can only hope." Holden said smiling at Luc. He could just come to see me if he wanted to.

"Your welcome anytime." Dad said smiling at everyone.

I lost myself in my dinner after that. I really don't mind Holden and Luc dating but I really like Holden as a friend and wouldn't mind just hanging out. But he is stuck to Luc like glue. When I finished my dinner I rinsed my plate and excused myself to go back to my room. I wanted to finish putting up my pictures and organizing my movies.

"Hey, Luc is going to do his homework and stuff, did you want to hang out and maybe go look to see what we can find in the woods?" Holden asked about an hour later.

"Hell yeah, I want to see if we can find a good place to camp out of something." I said.

"Sounds cool, I'll meet you downstairs." He said.

I changed into some old jeans and a hoodie before making my way downstairs. I loved crossing the bridge. I want to buy lights and string them on it so it glows. Sometimes I shocked myself with the thoughts that popped in my head because in away that sounded so um... gayish. 

"Ready?" Holden asked.

"Hell yeah." i said following him out the back door.

We walked into the woods and tried to stay on a path that was grown over a lot but still faintly there. After about ten minutes we came to a small clearing.

"This would be a good place to camp." Holden said.

"We could, do you hear water?" I asked.

"I think so." He said and we headed towards the sound of the water.

"Hey look a stream." I said pointing up a head.

"I think there is a pond or something on the other side of that also." He said and he was right a small pond with over grown weeds and a few fallen trees sat on the other side.

"This is pretty cool." I said taking in the sight.

"Yeah, I wonder if you guys own all this." He said looking around. 

"I guess we will find out when they come out to make the area." I said with a shrug.

"If so we should clean this area up this summer. This would a great place for a bond fire party." He said. He was right this would be awesome for that. 

"We could do that." I said not wanting to show how excited about that idea I was.

I don't like people to see what I like or don't like. Because when mom would figure out what I did like she would uses that to get me to do things for her. And when she figured out the shit I didn't like she would uses that to get back at me for not doing a good enough job. I have learned to school my face when it comes to shit like that. People think I have no emotions but I do trust me. 

"I was thinking that this summer you and I should put together a gym or something here. We could work out together." Holden said sitting on a log that was close to the stream.

"I'll ask my dad. I have some equipment that I brought from my moms." I said. It would be cool to have a work out buddy. I love to work out but hated doing it alone. I didn't like bring people over to the house because mom would ruin all our fun by making us pick on Luc.

"I have some equipment also. I can bring it over." He said looking at me with a smile on his face.

"Cool" I said with a faint smile of my own.

We stayed out there and talked for a while longer. But when it started to get dark we headed back to the house. He said good bye to Luc and I before going home. Luc looked sad to see him go. I think he really likes Holden. But he is scared to be happy. I see what Lacey means now when she was telling me I needed to grow up. Luc's not that bad of a person and when I learned mom had lied I felt really bad for the shit I did to him.

I said good night to everyone and went and locked myself in my room. I showered and got ready for bed. I had left my phone off all day and it was nice to not be bothered by everyone for once. I like the new place but I miss home. I miss my mom the one that wasn't fake. I don't like change but I wasn't going to stick around there with out Lace. I guess without Luc also but Lace and I are a lot closer and I like to look out for her. It has always been her and I. 

The next day at school the three of us had to go in with dad so he could change all of our forms in the office. The school was a little taken aback by this but after listening to Lacey they did what was asked. I think that girl could take the Queen of England out of her pants. She wants to be a lawyer and she is going to be a damned good one.

"Hey, where the hell have you been?" Evan one of my friends asked once I made it to first hour.

"Moving" I said giving him a duh look. All my friends new I was moving this weekend.

"Oh yeah, you missed a killer party this weekend. I hooked up with Marissa Jordan." He said looking smug. I knew he was lying because Marissa Jordan was a lesbian and she has had a girlfriend for two years.

"Really, that's cool." I said just going with the flow.

"Fuck yeah, I rocked her world man." He said while I shook my head. I think Evan is a virgin but that's okay.

"So anything else happen?" I asked.

"That new kid, Cal or whatever was there he got drunk and was telling everyone he was best friends with Holden and was secretly in love with him. I think Quinten was going to kill him. Stupid fags." He said.

"Shut the fuck up. You know my brother and Holden are both gay so I don't want to hear the fag shit any more. Who gives a fuck if they are gay. But I will not let this Cal person come in between Luc and Holden." I said getting pissed.

"Dude chill, I'm sorry about the fag word. Damn I liked the old you better." He said shaking his head.

"Yeah well get used to the new me." I said right as class started.

I sent a text off to Holden telling him what I had heard and he was pissed. I was going to find this Cal person and make sure he stayed the fuck away from Luc and Holden. Evan decided not to talk to me the rest of the class. I was mad enough to call him out of his bullshit but it was a good thing he kept his mouth shut.

I found Holden before our third hour class. I had him point out who Cal was and then I made him tell me all about him. So this is what I have learned. One his is a really bad best friend, two he is a closed gay or bi person and three he can't drink. Holden told me not ro worry about it because he was going to handle it. Because  this Cal guy was talking shit about him I would let him handle it.

My friend have pretty much listened to me about leaving Luc alone. There was a few of them that I had to keep on because they think it's fun to fuck with Luc. Those that are still fucking with him are slowly not becoming my friend. And when you are not my friend you lose a lot of cred in the school. Yes I am one of the most popular people in this school so what I say goes or your out. I like the way things work in this school maybe because I am on top. The only person I have ever bullied was Luc so now I am cracking down on the bullies. I don't like what it did to my brother and if any of them have the same shit going on at home why make more trouble for them. So what if they are a little different. So what if they are smart or fugly. Next year a whole new set of rule are going to be in effect for this school so I am starting a few changes now.

I made it through the rest of the day and now Holden and I are at work. I love the smell of sports. It just makes me relax. I don't like having to do the shit work though. I mean why would the boss want me out on the floor? I am sexy, athletic and smooth. 

"Did you see a box of hockey pucks?" Holden asked as we organized the new stock.

"It's over by the sticks and helmets." I said pointing to the back of the stock room.

"Thanks." He said walking over and doing what ever it is that he was doing. I was stuck separating the jocks. I hate doing this. You would think Holden would jump at the chance to play with jocks.

I was so happy to get done at work. I hate doing stock. The plus side was when we had to go out on the floor the boss made us switch list and Holden had to handle the jocks in front of people. 

"You need a ride home?" Holden asked.

"No, Luc is coming to get me. He works tonight so he is going to swing by and get me." I said punching out. I saw Holden smile at the sound of Luc's name. I guess I am glad it's him that makes my brother happy. I will at least get along with my future brother-in-law and who knows maybe I can get with his sexy ass sister.
