"Son, you have to get a job. You're 18 and getting a little...uh...chubby."

You look at your mom with an angry face.

"Fat? Really, mom?"

"Well, good news! I got a job listing for you!"

"What's the job?"

"Some place called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza?"

You look at your mom with wide eyes.

"You got me a job without my permission. Thanks, mom."

"No problem!"

You watch your mom exit the room and you put on your headphones. You put on some nice music and drift off to sleep.

The loud alarm clock next to your bed begins sounding as it falls off the table from the intense vibration the alarm clock, itself, was causing.

You pick up the alarm clock and begin to try and turn it off as you're getting out of bed.

Your mom walks in.

"Hun, just to let you know, you got that shift later today. Do not be late for it."

"I won't, mom."

You smile at her and she smiles back.

You grab a bag. You go down to the kitchen and look through the fridge. You're trying to find food items to last you through the 12-6 A.M. shift.

You spot a nice, large bottle of Gatorade and quickly shove it in your bag. You find a six-pack of granola bars and stuff those in your bag as well. Your mom walks in.

"Hey, dear. I got you a little something from the store."

Your mom pulls out a massive bag of assorted candy.

"Is this really for me?"

"Of course, sweetheart. Remember, don't get too tired. You have a very late shift. I am sorry about that. They said it was the only position available."

"It's fine, mom. A job is a job."

"You're right. Well do get some sleep during the day. I know it'll ruin your sleep schedule, but its for your job."

"I understand, don't worry, I'll manage."

"I can't believe how fast my baby is growing up. Good luck on your first shift."

"Oh yeah, the people over there sent me a key so you can get into the building after hours."

Your mom hands you the key to Freddy's and you put it in the small, secure pocket of your bag.

You play some video games to pass the time. It's 11:30 P.M. and you decide to head over there. You walk downstairs, out the door, into your car, and to Freddy's. About ten minutes later you pull in. The building itself looked a little gross, but you didn't mind.

You grab the key and unlock the door. You walk inside and you notice a little paper tied to the key. You tear it off and read it.

"Have a good day/night, son :)" is what the note read.

"Love you too, mom."

You walk from the front desk into the main stage area. You immediately notice Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica on stage.

"Yeesh, when was forced to get this job I didn't think they had actual animatronics..."

You walk up to Freddy and begin analyzing him.

"5 minutes into this job and I can already tell I'm going to hate it...oh who am I kidding. I'm talking to an inanimate object."

You sigh and walk down the left hallway and find the main office.

"Finally."

You plop down in the chair and relax for a bit. You check your watch and it says 11:50.

The phone begins to ring. You didn't want to pick it up because you felt like that was not part of your job. You leave the phone until it stops ringing a voice it heard. You stare at the phone.

"Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?

Uh, let's see, first, there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced."

Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there's really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay.

So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free-roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?

Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll pr- they'll most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, no, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again. would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh.

Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night."

You stare at the phone with wide eyes.

"Great, so not only do I have to stay up until 6 A.M. every day ,but now there's a risk of death? I'm not that dumb, guy on the phone."

You look at your watch and it says midnight. A small buzzer noise is heard which means that your shift has started.

You notice a tablet on the table and begin looking at it. It's a bit dusty so you blow off the dust and turn it on. Camera monitors pop up. They are the cameras to the building. You begin looking through the cameras. One camera said AUDIO ONLY in big letters. You pull up the camera and see the main characters on the stage.

"Oh yay, I get to look at them all night. How fun."

You switch over to the camera which views Foxy.

"Ayye, my main man, Foxy. Haven't seen him in a while."

You switch back to the camera that says AUDIO ONLY. You listen closely to see if anything is heard. Nothing but camera static.

You notice two big buttons on the sides of both doors.

One is used to close the door, and the other is used to shine a light down the hallway. You test out what the buttons do. After an hour has passed you got uncontainably bored. You look at your watch and it says 1 A.M..

You sigh and look at the cameras. You notice something bizarre. One of the characters is missing.

"I thought Bonnie was on the stage when I came in."

You remember when the guy on the phone said something about a free-roam mode at night. You quickly put your worries to rest.

You hear shuffling down the hallway. You peep your head outside. You can see a figure at the end of the hallway. You go back into your office and remember he said something about not letting them find you. Your blood runs cold. You look down the hallway again. The figure is gone. Little did you know the figure was behind you.

"I think I'm safe..."

You turn on the light and Bonnie is sitting there with his black eyes.

You look at him for a second and begin laughing.

Bonnie's eyes return to normal and he looks at you with a confused face.

"You...are way too cute to be a threat!"

You fall on the floor laughing.

Bonnie's ears flatten.

"No, no I'm kidding. Why were you begin scary, though..."

"Well...I'm not sure. I'm surprised you aren't scared of us." Bonnie said, annoyed

"Anything is possible in this world and I have learned to accept that."

Freddy is standing behind you while you're talking to Bonnie.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna get my big bag of-"

You bump into Freddy and fall over.

"Hey, watch where you're going."

Freddy looks down at you with black eyes.

"Bruv, put those black eyes away. I don't know what I did, but if you guys don't stop with the looks, I really hope you like hospital food."

Freddy's eyes return to normal.

"Did you know about this, Bonnie?" Freddy asked in shock

"I'm as shocked as you are, Freddy." Bonnie said, confused.

Chica walks in.

"Hey, boys, I just- Oh, sorry didn't realize you guys were about to kill the nightguard." Chica said trying not to be rude.

"Kill me? You fuzzy robots are here to kill me?"

"Well, yeah." Freddy said, laughing

Foxy walks in.

"Argh, what be going on in here." Foxy asked curiously.

You happily gasp.

Foxy's jaw drops.

"FOXY!"

You run up to Foxy and hug him.

"Well, shiver me timbers, it be my old friend!" Foxy said happily.

Chica interrupts.

"You two know each other?" Chica asked.

"He was in Pirate's Cove every day when he be a younger lad." Foxy said.

"I don't keep track of that." Freddy remarked

"You aren't supposed to, Freddy." Bonnie responded.

"Shut up, Bonnie." Freddy said in annoyance.

Golden Freddy walks into the office.

"Did you guys kill him yet?" He said in his deep voice.

You turn around and your eyes widen as you look up at Golden Freddy. Your face turns red.

"Uh...hi?" He said, waving his hand in front of you.

You snap out of it.

"Oh...sorry...uh..."

Chica immediately picks up on what's happening.

The boys are extremely confused.

"I see you met my friends." Golden Freddy said.

"Yeah, I- uh-...have."

"Are you sick?" Bonnie asked.

"You could say that..."

Golden Freddy laughs slightly. He gets super close to your face and gives you a look that you will never forget.

"Don't get too cocky...this job will only get harder from here. Don't expect us to go easy on you..." Goldie said in a deep voice.

"I...um...understand."

You look at your watch and it says 6 A.M.. Your shift has ended for tonight.
