"Mark, I'm a criminal, I was also the one behind the killings inside the cafe." I froze with what she said, fear slowly invading my body as I tried to calm myself down.

"Jia no...you can't do that." I nervously said, avoiding to stutter. She faced me, her tears continously flowing down her cheeks.

"I can't do that but she can." she uttered with anger, "she's controlling me! she's using me..mark help me." she sobbed as her face bowed down.

"Maybe I didn't killed that lady directly but empathy used my body to control the emotions of the lady's husband..that practically means that I'm still involved, somehow."

"But how? how did you know?" I asked, making her face me, "how did you know that she did that?"

"I saw what really happened since it flashed back into my head, I was about to dispose the garbage a day ago before the incident happened, then she controlled me unconsciously, she talked to those guys and offered them money to burst into the cafe and kill those people of the other race, and I don't know where she got the money from." Jia explained, calming herself as she proceed, "that's why I can feel a strong sense of guilt that day, it's because it was me all along."

"Jaemin told us that he asked the instructions of the game with the use of the help bot, and he told me that if we didn't continued the game for about 3 days, our points would restart and everything would turn out the opposite." I told her as she wept. I can't really explain what I feel, emotions are mixed inside my body.

"Of course the game is lying!" she suddenly yelled, "Vision is controlling the help bot, I saw it with my two eyes when everything flashed back earlier, she was controlling him!"

"Where are they?" we heard hyuck's voice from the kitchen, then followed by jaemin's voice, "the back door's open, let's check"

Then the next thing we saw is they're already infront of us. Their eyes widened in shock and hurriedly approached us.

"Jia? what happened? mark?" jaemin panicked, holding jia's hands as he asked what's wrong.

I explained what happened and as expected, both of their eyes widened in shock again. Who wouldn't be surprised?

"Please leave me guys, I might hurt you. I feel like I'm not Jia anymore." She voiced out, her tears continously flowing down. Haechan comforted her by carressing her back and giving her water.

"We won't Jia, it would be much worse if we leave you alone." Hyuck said seriously. "We entered the game all together so we'll end it all together too."

It's the first time I saw him seriously speaking, and damn those words.

"Aren't you guys afraid of me? Because I'm afraid of myself already." she told us, slowly standing up and three of us followed.

"We can't do anything if we let this fear swallow us, even if we feel it, we have to ignore it." Jaemin stated, "how do we end the game?" jia asked.

"I think that we'll be needing to know more about those souls inside the game and how do we defeat them, since they might strike and attack anytime." I spoke, and everyone listened. "as much as possible, we always need to keep an eye to Jia, Renjun and Jisung."

"I'm still confused, out of all of us, why jia, renjun and jisung?" Hyuck asked, looking straight at me while hoping for an answer.

Good thing I made a research on all of our skills before we continued the mission.

"It's because Jia has the skill of empathy," I spoke, "and empaths may be easily possessed by spirits since they are beings bound by emotions."

"How 'bout renjun and jisung?"

"Renjun's skill, seeing things behind things, prediction of the future and such, drove renjun's emotions to easily swallow him." I paused for a while, "and jisung, the same with renjun, his emotions easily swallowed his whole body, making him weak and easy to control."

We heard the sirens of the ambulance, police cars, and the investigation team. Jia glanced on it but Jaemin hurriedly pulled her and told her to stop looking.

It is clearly not Jia who killed the lady, but the soul who enters her.

What does she want? why does she want to stop what we're doing?

"We should head inside and look after renjun and jisung." Jaemin ordered, "also..have they texted already?" he asked.

"Jeno and Chenle? I received nothing from them." Hyuck said as he scrolled through his messages as we head inside the house.

I pulled the phone out of my pocket and scrolled through my messages too, but no messages from them. It's almost been an hour and they should be home now.

"We should call them." I told them and I started dialing Jeno's number while Hyuck dialed Chenle's.

Few rings, the number you have dialed is busy at the moment, please try again later.

I dialed once again and I heard the same thing. What the hell? I am starting to get nervous.

As soon as we went inside, Renjun's eyes fluttered open, so we hurriedly approached him.

"W-what happened?" Renjun asked, looking at each one of us. "Where are Jeno, Chenle and Jisung?"

"Jeno and Chenle..they went home but they haven't texted yet.." Jia nervously said, her eyes still fresh from crying.

"Jisung's still unconscious." I told him and his eyebrows furrowed. "Why? what happened?" renjun confusingly asked, "did you cry?"

"I did..but that's not quite of the issue now, we need to check on chenle and jeno." Jia answered, panic slowly swallowing her.

Emotions enter easily inside her body because of her skill, however, we must help her to fight.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

Our phones lit up and made a sound, indicating that we received messages.

I pulled out my phone and read the message .

We all gathered together and showed the messages to each other.

My forehead creased and as well them, This is ruined by your own hands that's been the future?

"The sentences are not in order.." hyuck said, "but what is the right arrangement?"

The laptops infront of us glitched and the words "EGA" appeared.

EGA? Ega...Age?

"Let's arrange ourselves by our age!" I ordered, at first we tried arranging ourselves from youngest ( which is Jia since jisung and chenle isn't present ) to oldest but the words didn't make more sense.

So we tried to line our phones in order from the oldest to the youngest.

This is the future that's been ruined by your own hands.

As soon as we read the message aloud, jisung's phone which is lying on the table, lit up and made a sound. We gathered around the table and read the message.

unknown sent 7 photos.

Fortunately, jisung's phone doesn't have a passcode so we easily opened his phone.

By the time the photos loaded, our eyes widened once again by the sight of the first 5 photos.

Dead animals, child labor, corruption, drugs and a photo of the percentage of the highest crime rates in the world.

But what made us panic the most is by seeing the last 2 photos attached,

chenle and jeno tied and beaten up.

Then another message was sent.
