Fluff.

Zahra nyx and I were headed out on a mission. Another Glitch stumbled its way into the arcade. It was nothing more than some dumb chomp kitty. I hated that game. I enjoyed blowing up its face. When we made our way back we saw miko and five, miko had a small box in her hands and looked sad. Five looked sad to. Before we could ask why, they turned into Phil's office. We all went our separate ways, I was texting on discord with a few friends, Zahra was working on her hacking, and nyx was training his combat skills. Both things I should have been doing. But it's not like I ever got injured during work hours. Phil, miko, and five all walked out of his office. And Phil started talking to them as they pooled their exp into their accounts. Miko got shiny purple knuckle shanks. And five got himself some rocket boots.
"You could spend your exp on those, or you could pool and I don't know get a pet companion? You know, like the unauthorized one you tried to hide in the tech van?" He said annoyed.
"Yeah.. after all we've been through, we didn't have the heart to zap her." Five said nervously.  They pooled together and miko got herself an adorable little bird!
"What's her name?" I questioned.
"Ally!" Miko explained as we watched the bird mock mitch.
"Cute name!" I said as I got up and left for the lockeroom.
"Hey where are ya going? " miko yelled.
"Home! Works over! Mitch, nyx, Zahra, and haneesh have night duty!" I yelled back grabbing my jacket and bag. As I left.
