They were all looking at the ground, and the crowd roared...

Ashleigh breathed heavily, looking up and smiling widely at Blaine.

Carmen whistled loudly. Sue, Shannon, Will, and Emma were on their feet, clapping. Emma and Will hugged.

"Damn, if Ashleigh hasn't won that M.V.P. award as well, I don't know what else she could do to win." Said Sue.

Sue and Shannon high-fived each other together. Will and Sue high-fived, and so did Will and Shannon. Emma and Sue do the same.

Jesse was clapping his hands, but even he was jealous of Ashleigh's performance.

A few minutes later, Ashleigh walked into a room, almost getting knocked over by some of the Vocal Adrenaline...

"Girl!" Ashleigh shouted, seeing Wade.

"If you've come to mess with my head, don't worry. Your performances did that for you. You were amazing, but I'm not going out there." Wade says.

"Well, I came to wish Unique luck and give her this flower." Ashleigh said.

"Well, Ashleigh, right now Unique has left the building." Wade tells her.

"Bring her back." Said Ashleigh.

"Try as I might, I can't conjure her." Wade muttered.

"Wade, this is just stage fright. Think..." Ashleigh says.

"No. No, this isn't stage fright. Ashleigh, did you not hear yourself? You've won. There's no way of topping that." Wade mumbled.

"Think about the last time you performed as Unique. You were amazing. I mean, I don't get intimidated a lot. I did once. With my boyfriend. When I first met him... he sang Teenage Dream and my God. I was petrified about going up against him in the competition. Now I am intimidated by you. Just think about it. You were totally and utterly amazing." Ashleigh tells him.

"That was different! Nobody knew Unique. I didn't have to be anyone other than who I truly was. Now everyone's coming for me... Jesse, the rest of my team. I can't take the pressure." Wade says.

"Exactly like me. I hate being the team leader... but I do it anyway because I love them. I mean, I'm knackered after those three performances." Ashleigh tells her.

"All I... all I ever wanted to do was wear a dress and sing. Now I'm the poster child for any kid who's different. I can't handle it." Said Wade.

"You may not be able to handle it, but maybe Unique can. I mean, I've... I've met her; she's pretty powerful. Move past the fear and whatever else you're feeling and go out and perform." Ashleigh says, walking over to her and handing her the white rose. "I like you... you're not like any of the others. I hate them. Apart from you."

"Five minutes, Vocal Adrenaline."

"Let me help you." Ashleigh said.

"Aren't we supposed to be enemies? Why are you helping me?" Wade asked.

"Because... because honestly, I wanna win fair and square, and that means you singing on that stage. Besides, that's not how things roll when you're in New Directions. Not really our style. I do hate Jesse, though, and I can't wait till we're crowned the winners." Ashleigh said, smiling at her and sitting down beside her. "Let's do this."

"All right. Let's get me ready. Ashleigh, which lipstick? Ruby Red or Sugar Rose?" Wade asked.

"Sugar Rose. Definitely." Said Ashleigh.

A few minutes later, Ashleigh stood back, looking at her creation.

"Perfect. Good luck. Don't break a heel." Ashleigh tells her.

"These aren't even half the size you're wearing. How can you dance in those?" Wade asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'll teach you... maybe." Ashleigh murmured, walking out of the room.

"I can tell you one thing: Unique might be transferring schools next year." Wade tells her.

Ashleigh smiled, walking back to her seat and sitting down.

"Hey, where did you go?" Blaine asked, putting an arm around her.

"Um, visited Wade. He wasn't gonna go on stage. But you know, I convinced him/her." Ashleigh said, resting her head against his shoulder.

"Please welcome to the stage from Carmel High in Akron, Ohio, Vocal Adrenaline!"

"Uh, how the hell are we supposed to win now?" Ashleigh asked, sitting down and staring at everyone.

Everyone's mouths were opened.

"We've lost. Again." Ashleigh mumbled.

Later, the judges were in the room...

"I have a confession to make. I am a show choir junkie. Some people follow football. Some people follow the NCAA basketball tournament. Some people follow the daily goings-on in the lives of their wives and children. Not me. I follow a competitive high school show choir." Said Martin.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh, my God! Seriously? Did you just blog about me during that last performance?" Lindsay asked, looking over at Perez.

Perez shook his head rapidly, and Lindsay showed him the tablet in her hand.

"You're welcome. It's already had over 300 hits. And secondly, if you don't love show choir, what exactly are you doing here, Lindsay Lohen?" Asked Perez.

"If you have to ask why a 12-time Teen Choice Award nominee is a celebrity judge... then you don't really understand what the word celebrity means." Martin said.

"That's right. I was robbed for "Freaky Friday." And I'm here, Perez, because I care about young artists, and I also saw a lot of videos of that girl from New Directions. I know them. I feel them. I was them. I'm here to support them unconditionally." Lindsay says.

Perez yawned sarcastically.

"Let's get down to business. We need to narrow down to the top three." Martin tells them.

"I, for one, was really moved by the Scale Blazers' haunting medley homage to "Starlight Express." Perez says.

"You know who I was really impressed with? That girl who sang "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" the New Directions had so much energy." Said Martin.

"I liked them. I really wanna give her the M.V.P." Lindsay tells them.

"Oh, please. The New Directions were horrible." Perez said.

"You stood up." Said Lindsay.

"Because it's disrespectful not to. I'm for Vocal Adrenaline all the way. I think that Unique is a star." Said Perez.

"Please. Ashleigh's a star. She did a song that was vintage, plus she used nothing but her voice. And it sounded amazing." Lindsay tells them.

Martin nodded.

"This is serious, guys. These are kids' dreams on the line out there. Do you know what it looks like when a kid's show choir is disrespected? This is what it looks like, and it really hurts." Said Martin.

"We need to vote now. I need to be back on my computer ASAP." Perez mumbled.

"Fine by me, I know who I'm voting for. What about you, Fonger?" Asked Lindsay.

Martin signed, closing his eyes.

Carmen walked out of the room, and Jesse ran after her.

"Excuse me, Ms. Tibideaux? I'm Jesse St. James, the coach of Vocal Adrenaline. I... I auditioned for you two years ago. You said I showed promise." Jesse says.

"And you probably did. I see hundreds of people every day. Good day to you." Carmen said.

"Wait, I'm not here for me. I know Ashleigh asked you to come. There's something you need to know." Jesse said.

"Yeah, I've just heard her sing. Tell Ashleigh the deal stands. Tell Ashleigh it's Rachel's final chance." Carmen tells him.

"Wait, is... is that what Ashleigh's been doing? Is that why she invited you here? Ashleigh, by far the most talented person I've ever met... as is Rachel. You'll be lucky enough to have them on your team one day. They'll both be stars one day." Jesse tells her.

"Yeah... I heard that in her performance today. Shame Ashleigh's still in school. Like I said... it's Rachel's final straw." Carmen muttered.

"Thank you for your time." Jesse said, turning around to walk away.

"Giants in the Sky." You did, "Giants in the Sky" from "Into the Woods." Carmen mumbled, walking away from him.

The groups were back on stage, and Ashleigh held onto Blaine's arm...

"And now, it's time to announce the winner of this year's individual show choir M.V.P. award..."

Ashleigh and Rachel closed their eyes, and Ashleigh held onto Blaine's hand and arm tightly.

"From New Directions, McKinley High, Ashleigh Berry!"

The crowd went wild, getting to their feet, and Ashleigh stood there frozen while everyone patted her back.

"You did it! You won the MVP!" Blaine shouted, hugging her tightly.

"What?" Ashleigh asked, stepping forward and seeming to be lost for words.

Will patted her back when Ashleigh walked past.

"Oh, my God..." Ashleigh muttered, walking over, grabbing the award from Martin and kissing each other cheeks.

"Congratulations, Ashleigh." Unique tells her.

"Thank you. Good luck." Ashleigh says.

"Oh, uh, Ms. Tibideaux told me to tell you Rachel's got one last shot." Jesse whispered.

Ashleigh smiled, nodding her head, and Ashleigh ran over to Will, hugging him.

Ashleigh placed the trophy down by the edge of the stage, grabbing Blaine's hand once more.

"And now, a round of applause to your top three finalists for this year's National Show Choir championship. In third place..."

Everything was so quiet. Blaine and Ashleigh had their fingers crossed.

"All the way from Oregon, the Portland Scale Blazers!"

Everyone clapped, and Martin handed them the third-place trophy.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen, quiet, please. Congratulations to both teams standing with us on stage."

Everyone had their heads looking down, and Ashleigh stared at Finn and Kurt. Ashleigh looked back down at Blaine and her hands.

"But now it's time to announce a winner. The 2012 National Show Choir champions..."

The crowd began murmuring quietly.

"From McKinley High in Lima, Ohio, the New Directions!"

Ashleigh stood there frozen completely, and confetti fell around them, and Blaine shook her.

"We won! We actually won!" Everyone shouted.

Blaine wrapped his arms around her, and they kissed.

Sue flinched, hearing they had won.

Sue and Shannon got to their feet, and Emma jumped up, clapping her hand and squealing loudly.

The crowd began cheering, and most of the New Directions covered their mouths with their hands, not believing they had won.

They all hugged one another, and Ashleigh ran over, hugging Will again.

"We did it, Mr. Schue; we won. We actually won." Said Ashleigh.

Martin walked over carrying the first-place trophy, handing it to Ashleigh.

"You were amazing." Martin tells her.

Ashleigh held it in her hands, staring at Sue, Shannon, and Emma.

Sam kissed Ashleigh's head, helping her hold up the trophy. Jesse stood there on the other side of the stage, holding the second-place trophy.

Ashleigh smiled, staring at Jesse.

Sue was still standing up, pointing her hand out. Sue nodded her head at Ashleigh.

Everyone crowded around each other, celebrating the win. Everyone was kissing Ashleigh's head.

"All right! Okay, you can all stop now!" Ashleigh shouted, giggling loudly.

The next morning, Ashleigh and Blaine were the first to walk in holding the trophy, seeing the students standing around...

It was silent, and everyone just stood there. Everyone looked at each other.

Ashleigh's eyes widened, seeing two football players walking over holding two Slushee cups.

Ashleigh and Blaine placed the trophy on Artie's knees.

The entire Glee Club clenched their eyes closed, and they threw the cups over them.

Ashleigh expected something cold to hit her, but when it didn't, Ashleigh opened her eyes, seeing confetti flying around them.

"Huh? What?" Ashleigh asked, furrowing her brows and holding out her hands.

Ashleigh smiled, and Kurt smiled back at her.

"It makes a difference than something cold hitting your face." Finn says.

They walked down the hallway, and more students threw confetti at them.

Blaine and Ashleigh kissed each other. A football student hugged Ashleigh, and it startled her.

Rick paid Finn the money they agreed on. Which was 1000 bucks if they won nationals.

Sue handed Figgins the check, smirking at Roz Washington as Sue walked past her.

In the choir room, Ashleigh poured everyone a drink.

Brittany and Santana kissed one another in the corridor. Ashleigh opened another bottle, spraying it over Blaine.

Finn and Rachel kissed one another, and so did Blaine and Ashleigh in the corridor.

Ashleigh then sprayed Artie with it, kissing his cheek. And so does Brittany.

Blaine gets Ashleigh back, spraying her with the drink.

Ashleigh laughed, putting her hands out, trying to protect herself.

Will arrived home, finding Emma in her sexy pyjamas, and they had sex.

Ashleigh was standing at her locker talking to Blaine when someone tapped her on the shoulder.

Ashleigh turned around, seeing a student holding out a book with her picture on it, and Ashleigh smiled, signing the page.

Ashleigh told Rachel about what Jesse told her, and Rachel hugged her.

In the choir room, Will slid open the glass, and Ashleigh carried the trophy over.

Everyone was there waiting for it to be placed in the cabinet.

Later, Finn and Ashleigh walked down the corridor...

"What would Figgins want with us?" Finn asked.

"Maybe we're getting a key to the city." Said Ashleigh.

A few seconds later, they sat in Figgins's office...

"Crowned royalty... Finn Hudson and Ashleigh Berry. Take a seat, as I only have a few minutes before I must chastise the cafeteria coos for selling our frozen vegetables on the black market. As co-captains of the nationally victorious New Directions singing group, please accept these official William McKinley High School bumper stickers and miniature pom-poms." Figgins said.

"Cool." Ashleigh and Finn said.

"And here's a little something for the two main singers in the group that won us nationals." Said Figgins.

Figgins handed them both an envelope.

"Uh, thank you so much." Ashleigh says.

"I'm pleasure. And there's one more item on the agenda. McKinley is having a very special event tomorrow, and I'm requesting that New Directions perform." Figgins tells them.

"I think... we would love to." Said Ashleigh. "What kind of special event? Because if it's the teacher award, I know exactly who should win it..."

The next night, Emma rolled sticky tape across Will's suit...

"So much better. So handsome." Emma said.

"Hey. Thank you." Will says

"My pleasure. Literally. I just thought you knew my man was a winner, and he deserves to be treated as such. And it was as much for me as it was for you." Said Emma.

"Last night was... well worth the wait. But I meant thank you for everything. This whole year... it's been incredible. And I'm so grateful to have you by my side."

"Many more years to come." Emma tells him.

They leaned in to kiss when Sue interrupted them.

"Award ceremony about to start." Sue tells them.

A few minutes later, they walked down the corridor...

"No question, you helped us win nationals. And I know you've had a rough year, but you've never given up. You do deserve this." Will tells her.

"Thank you, William. Truer words never came out of your mouth. Shall we?" Asked Sue.

Will walked into the room, and Emma walked past Sue.

"Why do you look different?" Asked Sue.

Emma looked back at Sue, continuing to walk into the room.

"And now the award you've all been waiting for: Teacher of the Year. To announce the winner, please welcome to the stage, Finn and Ashleigh!" Figgins shouted.

The crowd clapped,
