'Guy, I can't move! Overfeeding! ', Gideon groaned after eating. The food was just too good that he ended up finishing the plate.

Obioma was still drinking from the 5 alive bottle. Gideon was sure if he drank water he would throw up.

'Eh just chill then, when you feel less stuffed we will go and do what we came here for. In the meantime, have you seen the new avengers movie? The endgame? ', Obioma asked excitedly.

'Its not available for download, it's not even yet in cinemas. Where I wan  from see am? ', Gideon asked his friend.

'Then you are in for a treat! ', Gideon said excitedly and grabbed a remote.

Gideon nearly passed out when he saw a television coming out of the ceiling.

He thought it was falling down and his foolish friend was unbothered.

'What is doing you? Calm down o', Obioma said.

'I thought it was falling down ', Gideon answered honestly.

'And I'm just chilling here baa? So that my dad would use his horse whip on me abi? Chai, you truly do not rate me with sense in the same sentence ', Obioma said shaking his head.

'No now, it's not exactly like that', Gideon teased

Obioma gave a dramatic gasp.

'Oh so it's somehow like that then? I blame thee not. I blame thee not. Anyway shut up, the movie is about to start', Obioma said as he selected the movie and they both got engrossed in it.

Midway through the movie Gideon glanced at the kitchen clock and shot out of his seat .

'Guy wetin na?! ', Obioma jumped up as well.

'Look at the time! It's past four! ', Gideon said.

'Ehe so? Oga be calming down na. See how you nearly gave me a heart attack. The permission was for us to leave school earlier. I told you na', Obioma said clutching his chest.

'No, you said we were permitted to leave school and we would be back before four pm', Gideon said seriously.

'Ma binu! It's a mistake. But seriously guy, you need to chill out. Life is not that serious ', Obioma said as he slumped back into the chair he just jumped out of .

Gideon held his tongue.

He was the scholarship kid, anything that they would get away with he was fairly certain he would not be so lucky. And he didn't want to fight with Obioma either.

'Come let me give you what I brought you here for before we get engrossed in this movie again ', Obioma said and stood up. Gideon had no option than to follow him.

Obioma put on the light in his room as they stepped in. It was still day, why was he wasting energy?

'Guy wetin happen? Why is your bulb on? ', Gideon asked.

'Oh, I just wanted to see this better. Before I injure myself. I haven't moved the box since mummy gave it to me. I only checked out the clothes but liked none. They were big, and you are reasonably taller and bigger than me', Obioma said.

'Only by a few inches, you don't let me forget it', Gideon said with a smirk.

'Whatever! ', Obioma flipped his imaginary hair and then turned to pull out a small box.

'Alright, so let's try these out. I really didn't like them and mummy said I could give them out. So have at it', Obioma said and threw the first shirt at him.

Gideon looked at it uncertainly.

'Just wear the clothes already! ', Obioma said and fell on his bed.

Gideon gingerly took of his uniform shirt and pulled on the first pullover.

He instantly loved it. It smelled brand new and was super comfortable on his skin. He looked in the mirror and admired how it looked on him.

'This one is fine. I like it, what do you think? ', he asked Obioma.

After looking him up and down, Obioma said, 'I knew these clothes would look great on you. This one emphasized my shortness. But see how it's looking on you na, fresh boy. Okay next one'.

'But this is more than enough -',

'Guy, this is your first oppression week. You will thank me later, those kids come with zero chill. You just have to represent well. Let's not talk about those that use up to four different outfits per day, then the three abi four days given to us for runway. Like guy just flow with it. This is my collection for oppression week. Here, take a look', Obioma pushed a cupboard door open.

'Wow!', was all Gideon could say. These kids were crazy!

'Yep, plus all you have to do is wear the clothes. Try this one too, if it works out you can keep the rest. No try these pants, they were too long and I was too lazy to go hem them in at the seamstress' place', Obioma said and pulled out a pair of black slacks.

After everything Gideon was sitting on his own at home just thinking.

Yes, Obioma had his best interest at heart but he felt horrible for collecting them.

'Enyi, why are you sitting there all alone? ', His older brother asked him as he turned on the light.

'Just thinking. Obioma gave me some things and I can't help feeling bad about it', Gideon said to his brother.

'Eh what did he give you and why is it bothering you?', Nonso asked as he sat on the bed.

'here', Gideon said and pulled out the box. Nonso took in the box and whistled.

'This looks expensive, what's in it?', Gideon went ahead and opened the box.

'O boy! These are great looking. Thank God you have such friends! Why does it bother you? Is it because you think you can't pay him back?', Nonso asked hitting the nail on the head.

'Yes and the fact that he always has a solution for me even before I think of the problem. The phone I'm using was his old one. Now it's clothes he's giving me so that I can participate in oppression week. I honestly don't know how to repay all this kindness', Gideon said hanging his head.

'You can start by praying for him. Then all these small small things we take here, like orange, guava, ube self. When we have some ensure you share with him. Trust me, he would be looking forward to your lunch break. Or you can pack abacha when mummy makes it, just pray it doesn't purge him', His brother said with a smile.

'Thank you brother', Gideon said feeling at peace. He could as much as his brother suggested, but first he would pray for his friend and his family. Those people were good people to say the least.
