summary : acceptance of the obvious.

it has been 1 day since yachi has sworn her loyalty to kiyoko. they were at the volleyball club again, everything was going smoothly. tanaka and nishinoya were practicing receives, hinata and kageyama were attempting to do receives, with sugawara and daichi just watching as they take a break. it was a normal volleyball club day. uneventful.

yachi was on edge this evening. she kept on looking at the door, waiting for something to happen. it was obvious that she was waiting for somebody. but everybody was at the club, nobody was missing. sugawara noticed and smiled slyly at daichi who looked at the vice captain with a stern face, but he is sarcastic. it was painfully obvious that yachi was waiting for [name]. who was on the track team, which was probably practicing today.

the older manager, kiyoko noticed her nervousness and tapped the blonde's shoulder. yachi quickly looked back with pink cheeks. "kiyoko-san!" she said with surprise. it was clear that yachi had gotten scared. yet another piece of evidence that yachi truly was walking for [name]. kiyoko smiled softly and tilted her head to the side. "yachi, are you okay? you've been distracted today." kiyoko asked with her calm voice. yachi looked at kiyoko today.

yachi saw kiyoko's blue eyes and her soft features. nothing shined to her today. yachi nervously replied to the older girl. "i'm fine!"
yachi was nervous to talk to kiyoko, but not flustered. it didn't mean anything though. yachi nodded at the ravenette. kiyoko smiled at her, accepting the fact that yachi didn't want to evaluate.

yachi looked again at the door for the last time.
it was around this time yesterday when [name] visited so it makes sense that she wouldn't be coming if she wasn't already here. she frowned. yachi missed the company of [name].

the volleyball club practice ended quietly and the clean up with kiyoko was silent.

it had now been 4 days since yachi sworn loyalty. however, all these practices, yachi had been waiting for [name] to show up and kiyoko had smiled at her four times in a row. she basically held a conversation with kiyoko but she was still waiting for [name].

yachi's promise of loyalty to kiyoko was becoming more of just a statement to her. she had been wondering where the orange haired girl had gone more than about how kiyoko was talking to her.

yachi opened up her diary to the next page. she got her teal turtle gel pen and wrote the date. the first thing she wrote after that was

I like [last name] [name] of Karasuno's girls track team. she wanted to write a heart after it, but that would be a little much. she just realized her crush on the 2nd year. she continued

I just realized my crush on [name]. Kiyoko hasn't been on my mind all that much anymore.

she noted next that she would write a apology letter to kiyoko for falling out of love with her and being disloyal. she was slightly thankful for falling in love with kiyoko, as she wouldn't have met [name] without her.

she wrote about the school day itself today, and she would write about practice.

Hinata and Kageyama haven't been fighting as much, I might have been zoning out but I think they are just calming down a little. she wrote. sugawara joked that they were having a couple's quarrel but yachi was hoping for the best.

Mui told me more about this new employee. I think she is in love with him. she ended her diary entry there.

yachi went downstairs and ate a cake slice that yamaguchi and tsukishima made together. it was delicious.

she went back upstairs with a smile on her face. she got into her bed with green bedsheets. she whispered quietly. "i like [name]." with relief.

she had finally accepted the obvious.
