Mario is furious at Luigi's death but knows that since he has one life, he only has one option. RUN! So he runs for his life while rapping against corrupted bf who is chasing him trying to kill him by any means necessary and then at the end of the song, bf yells "HAHA I GOT YOU!" Mario jumps and then Luigi catches him wearing the super cape while bf yells "NOOOOOO!" And Luigi says "Don't worry we're safe-" and then yells as corrupted bf appears one last time and Mario and Luigi barely manage to escape and now they both have 1 more life left, they die and it's over, so they better put everything they got into this last world.
