castiel was encountered by two angels holding an innocent captive when sam and dean had left him behind to search a town for a hunt they were on.

the innocent was styles.

"what are you doing?" castiel panicked.

"we know she's the reason." one of the angels said.

"she's the reason for what?" castiel question.

"for you changing! for you not following orders! for being a bad angel." the other angel raged, quickly slicing styles throat.

she instantly dies and falls to the ground.

the angels then quickly disappear only leaving behind the sound of wings flapping.

castiel trudged his way to styles' dead body.

sam and dean find castiel there with the dead body and rush to him.

"cas!" dean yelled. "what happened?" he panicked alongside sam.

castiel stayed silent.

he regretted what he had done.

he regretted his thoughts of wanting to be different.

she didn't deserve this, he thought.

he wishes he could take everything back.

but it's not his fault he decided that

he was going to be a Froot Loop in a world full of cheerios.

A/N: It's like a REALLY bad ending but yes.

You don't really get much attachment to Styles but I found it kind of cute how Castiel listened to her advice in this.
