I was laying on one of the beds as In-ho was tickling me, I lightly threw my legs around trying to get him to stop, but my giggles were louder then my legs... untill the female voice was heard.

She was annoucing eliminated players?

We all slightly stood up, our faces flooded with shock.
"Whats happening?" I asked in-ho quietly, but he just stayed quiet.
The piggy thing came down and started filling with money.
"Whats going on?" Jung-Bae asked and I just shrugged.

It was quiet for few moments untill some of the players started coming in the room.
"Listen! Team O!" Nam-gyu started yelling immediately as he entered the room.
"When we were in bathroom, these fucking X bastards tried to kill all of us! They killed some of us, including my friend- " He yelled
"You are the one who started it!" Player from our side yelled at him

They started yelling and arguing untill that annoying grandpa asked who lost more people. Each team gathered to count players alive.
We counted and there were still 48 alive of our people, that means two dead. We did our maths and it was 2 to 5 which means they lost 3 people.

"We have a better chance at winning tomorrow." Some girl stated and we all agreed.
The female voice annouced that lights will be out in 30 minutes.
Everybody went to their normal groups and positions.
"Lets attack them first." In-ho said as we sat and talked.
"No. No way." I said
"They are probbably thinking we will wait to vote. We could take it in our advantage and attack first." He stated

Some agreed but some disagreed.
Gi-hun was with the ones that disagreed and started talking about the upper rooms and...

The man with the black mask.

Gi-hun then continued talking how we should attack the guards, and take their guns. To get to the main man. The frontman.
If only he knew that the frontman was sitting near him.... this whole time.

"Lights out in 10 seconds." Female voice stated

In-ho and I layed in bed together while the voice was counting down.
All the lights were now turned off.

"Stay near me." In-ho said firmly I just nodded.

O players immediately attacked us as the lights turned off.
We hid under the bed and watched as some people were killed immediately.
I remembered Gi-huns words.
"The fight wont take long, because if all of us end up hurt or dead. There cant be next game. And they wouldnt want that."
And he was right..

We wouldnt want that.

The guards barged in and started shooting around, just like Gi-hun said.
We did as Gi-hun said at the start and started attacking the guards.
One of the guards tried to shoot Gi-hun, but
In-ho shot him right in the head.
I guess In-ho really wanted to fit in and not be suspicious.

But he didnt need to shoot his own guards...?

Right?

Right?????

Everyone was shooting everyone untill the female voice was heard.
"Retreat. Retreat."
The guards started going back and behind the big door.
"Hold fire!" Gi-hun and his friend yelled as one guard didnt menage to escape. It was sqaure guard.

"Hands above your head! On your knees!" Jung-bae yelled
The guards did as he said but slowly.

After some time few people took ammo from dead guards. And Gi-hun and his friend started creating their crew for fighting and going into masked man's quarters.
I came up behind In-ho, and leaned over to his ear.
"I will come with." I stated. He slightly turned his head.
"No. I wont risk you getting hurt." He stated

"I want to come with."
"I said no." He said sternly
"You must go up to our quarters. I will come near but wont come in. That is the only way I can protect you." He said
"But also that way your going is also the only way to get to the quarters." I said quietly
"Then come with us. And before the fighting starts, escape quietly." In-ho stated and I nodded.

Our attention went back to the guard, which
Gi-hun now stood infront of, pointing a gun at his head.
"Take it off." Gi-hun said gesturing to his mask. The guard took of his mask, revealing a teenage boy.
"Do your parents know what your doing here?" Jung-bae asked.
"Take us to your captain." Gi-hun said before the boy could answer the previous question.

Gi-hun followed the guard, In-ho right behind him, and I right behind In-ho.
We reached the stairs when guards started shooting right at us.
"Get down now." In-ho said quickly and pulled me down.
"Dont go too far." In-ho stated sternly as we continued walking.

The guard explained us where it is, and had to take out his mask to pass security.
I cant wait to see his face when he realises the frontman and frontwoman(if I can call it that way idek) are standing right in front of him.
And when he finally did his face went immediately blank.

It was pri-ce-less. Priceless.

Immediately after the guard was shot in the head.
There were now many. many. guards shooting at us.
"Get in front of me. Now!" In-ho yelled. I did as he said. He was leaned on the wall and I was leaned on him.

"Why?" I asked when he could hear my words.
"Since there are many bullets being fired, there is a chance they get through the wall. And if your standing infront of me, and bullet comes through the wall you would still be protected because it wont pass through me." In-ho said as he wrapped his arms around me as much as he could to protect me.
"Please be careful. Please dont die." I begged
In-ho, slight tears rolling my cheeks from fear.
"I wont die. I promise you." He said

Gi-hun and Jung-bae went to find frontman's room and In-ho saw the perfect timing.
"Go now. Go. Go. Go. I will protect you." In-ho said as he indeed protected me from the shooting guards as I ran towards our quarters.

I went to the main quarters and was immediately given my white wear (like frontman's but white and more womanly.)
"Frontman will be here shortly." One of the square guards stated. I changed and wiped a little blood off me. And the frontman was indeed here shortly.
"Y/n. I will need you now." In-ho said as he changed into his frontman clothes. He put on his mask and we left the quarters.

We walked down the purple stairs and were met with Gi-hun and his friend. They immediately kneeled down with their hands up.
"Player 456." Frontman said in his low voice as Gi-hun looked up.
If only he knew that his closest friend was about to betray him.
"Did you have fun playing the hero?" Frontman asked him, me standing behind him looking down at both of the man.

Frontman pointed the gun at Gi-hun.
"Look closely. At the consequences of your little hero game." Frontman stated and shot Jung-bae.
Gi-hun immediately threw himself at Jung-bae. I was so hard not to cry and run to him too, because I have bonded with them so much it pained. But I had to remain my composture, later will be time to cry the shit out of myself.

We started walking away, and Gi-hun tried to run towards us but was held down by the guards. His screams echoing in the hallways.

When we reached our quarters I wasnt feeling very well.
"I- I think I will go to our bedroom." I said to In-ho.
"Alright. I will come by later I have some unfinished buisness to do.
I nodded and went to the bedroom, I took off my mask but had no energy to take the rest off.
I just sat on our bed and cried. and cried. and cried.

When In-ho finally came his gaze met with mine.
"Y/n?" He said worried, rushing over to the bed.
There were no words to describe what has been seen.

Only a half dead body on the bed, in a pond of blood.
