Positive.

"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." I quetly said to myself as I placed both my hands on my head.
I rose my head up slightly and looked myself in the mirror.
"Your strong. You have to be strong. Hell yeah. Im freaking strong." I quietly stated to myself as I wiped slight tear from my face.
"I mean this happy news. Im happy..? Right?" I continued to talk to myself untill I heard a knock on the door.

"Y/n? You good in there?" In-ho asked
"Yeah yeah! Just.... very.... painful stomach ache!" I exclaimed through the door trying not to sound suspicious.

After a few minutes I decided to go out. I saw In-ho sitting at his office sofa, sipping whiskey, looking at the screen with his dead look.
"Games are starting today." He stated
"Yeah about that..." I stated and took a pause, his gaze went over to me in the meanwhile.
"I want to join the gamed again." I stated
"Are you crazy? Wasnt once enough?" He asked kind of worried

"Yes. No. I mean. I dont know. But sincerly there is nothing really for me to do here. I just want some fun." I stated as In-ho came closer
"If you decide to join the games. I wont protect you this time." He stated firmly
"Okay now thats a lie." I said with a smile
"Yeah. That is a big lie." In-ho softly laughed as his gaze met mine.
"I will always protect you." He added

"I love you." I said and kissed him on the lips. He returning it.
"You better get ready then. You wouldnt wanna make it suspicious." He lightly added.
"Okay then I shall get going. Love you baby. Bye bye." I said as I walked out of the room.
"I love you..." He said but by the time I almost closed the door.
too." In-ho said sadder this time as the doors were alredy closed.

Time skip

I have woken up. I mean. Fakely woken up in the green clothes and bunk bed just like everyone else. I looked down and saw that.. again. I was player 455. My lucky number I guess.

And then it began.

The guards...

The debts...

The people on the screen....

The annoying people yelling...

bla

And when they finished, we had to make our way to the game hall. I guess other people thought this was a game or some kind of photoshoot. I knew what I had to do so I quickly took my photo. Again. Looking freaking amazing. LOL.
I passed and stood next to one of the guards.
I saw a group of people at one place.

"You want to be in the picture? Come on." Some purple haired guy said. The guard noded no.
"What about you beautiful lady?" He asked me
The square guard that stood next to me immediately placed his arm infront of me.
"Yeah. No thanks. Already got my picture." I stated arrogantly.
After everyone fianlly took their pictures, we made our way to the first game.

The big green doors were now in front of us.
The games are always same
The games are always same.

I repeatedly spoke in my mind.

To doors opened with loud creek and we made our way in. Same field. Not bloody anymore. It actually brings the fun memories from 3 years ago.
I was standing alone, patiently waiting for the game to begin.
That purple haired guy came over to me.
"Hey senorita." He greeted. I gave him a side eye returning my gaze forwards.
"Dont know who I am?" He asked patting his chest.
"Do I have to?" I asked crossing my arms.
"No you dont. We can get to know eachother. Tell me more about yourself." He said running his both hands over his hair.

"Are you seriously hitting on me?" I scoffed.
He started rapping and finished with "Im a legend.. Thanos."
"I. Like. You." He stated and crossed his fingers in a korean form of heart.
"Yeah keep that liking to yourself." I scoffed as I lowered his hand down.
That female voice saved me from this Thanos guy.

The first time I was actually thankful for that voice.

The rules have been explanined and we saw some guy running infront of us.
"Everyone! Everyone listen up! Pay attention!" He started yelling.
What a stupid guy.
I thought he was stupid untill the moment I realised who was it.

Gi-hun.

He started yelling about what this game actually was. But no one listend to him. They thought he was crazy. But by the time he could actually say anything more the doll already turned around.
"Let the game begin." The female voice was heard.

We started playing the game. And Gi-hun kept yelling us what to do.
"Freeze!" He yelled as the doll said red light.
We almost made it to the half without anyone dying. Untill some girl panicked over a bee, being shot dead shortly after. The same bee landed on another woman who also panicked, and been shot dead. At the sight many people started panicking and running, shots being heard from every side.

I mean I understand the panick but... Around hundred people die at the first game, even though they saw what would happen to them.
Kinda dumb.

And just like that doors were again full of dead people just like the last time. Gi-hun told us what we should do. Any that is get behind someone bigger then us. What doll doesnt see, doll doesnt know.
And just like that when the doll yelled green light we all formed few lines, standing behind each other.

I felt a slightly push from behind me.

"Are you okay?" I heard a grandma ask some girl behind her.
"Stay close." She said as she helped the girl.
"Feel free to lean on me for better support so you dont fall." I quietly said to the grandma and girl behind me. They thanked me and leaned more on me.

We had finally almost reached the end. Only few more shots being heard. The last round we went full sprint and some of us had sucessfully passed the line.
On the timer were left only 30 seconds.
I saw Gi-hun ran over to someone who has been shot in the leg, but not dead yet.
I ran after him.
Just as they were to fall I catched the guy.

"Y/n?" He asked as he recognized me.
"5 seconds left. Give me your full sprint." I stated.
The doll said green light and we started running with all the speed we had.

Dont think we didnt pass the line. Because we did. We fell to the ground and the guy started thanking us. He was shot immediately.
"Player 444, eliminated." The female voice stated.
Gi-hun and I both looked at each other. Fully shaking.

The roof started closing the same way he did the first time I played. And again. Last chance to see the sky.

Time skip

We were sitting in the main room, lights dimmed, only few people talking to eachother.
I was sitting close to Gi-hun, but not too close. I still need my quiet time. Soon the guards started coming in. Lights not being beautifuly dimmed anymore.

The square guard congratulated us on winning this game and announced the results.

91 players eliminated.
356 still alive.

Many people began to plead their forgivnes on their knees, begging them to let them go.
Gi-hun reminded them of the third course.
"Then let us take a vote right now." He exclaimed
They agreed but annouced the prize money that is added by now.
We all stared at the filling piggy on the ceiling.

9.1 billion won.

When it was time to vote they prepared us two buttons. One with X and one with O. The floor also had big X and O glowing on it.
"The voting will be held in reverse of your player number." The sqaure guard stated.
Gi-hun as the player 456 again. Was the first and pressed the X, going to stand on the side with big glowing X on it.

I was next. As player 455. And I pressed X. I mean...

Go with the flow right...?
Nothing suspicious.?

We were handed some type of sticker to put on our clothes with the symbol that we chose.
Each player voted and both X's and O's were rising in numbers. But it the end it was even.

It was time for the last number to chose. Player to determine will we either continue or stop playing. The player chose to continue the game. Player turned around and had number 001 on him.
