Pål and Magne went back to Oslo the following month. During their last month in England, for now, it felt like a weight being lifted off their shoulders. The weight of the wind, it was. But, they were both delighted to come back to their stomping grounds, where they met with old friends and family in whom they hadn't seen in months, including Viggo and Oystein, and, of course, Pål was delighted to see Tonje, who wasn't too happy about his leaving to England in the first place. After a couple of days, they met with Morten and talked about what their plan was for their time back in Norway before going back to England. They decided that they would continue what they did before leaving, but with Morten as the lead singer, which Pål was quite happy about, and they would earn as much money as possible until the beginning of the following year, when they were due to return to London. This time, performing was more fun for them and it seemed less like a chore. Since they were performing more often, they earned more money in less time, which was great for them.
By January, they had earned 2,000 kr (over 6,000 kr today), a lot more than they had expected. Plus, Magne and Pål wrote more songs together that kept up with how popular music sounded at the time. A favourite of theirs was a remake of one of their earlier songs, newly titled Lesson One.
The three men arrived at the airport the next week, feeling nervous, but hopeful that their new plan would work.
"Well, here we are. Again." Magne joked as they entered the plane and found their seats.
"Hopefully it'll work this time." Pål said, sounding a bit unhopeful.
"I'm sure it will. We have great songs, but our fashion? I think that's the next thing that needs a change." Morten said, looking at Pål, who scoffed in response.
