Marinette picked herself up and straightened her clothes, trying to recollect not only her feelings but her thoughts as well.

"Chat... What happened earlier...?" She asked.

"I saved you." He smiled.

"Well yes... but... I was with Adrien... then he said... some... words that were... oddly specific that had nothing to do with getting out of that situation, then you appeared. How am I supposed to react to that?" She said, crossing her arms.

"You didn't technically see anyone transform or detransform so you can't be one hundred percent, I'm lover boy? I simply came and saved him and then saved you. That's all there was to it." He laughed.

"I'm not buying it." Marinette rolled her eyes.

"You could at least try." Chat laughed.

"Ugh... What am I going to do now? I know your identity. Wait... I'm living with you! All this time I've been living with you?!" Marinette's eyes widened as the sudden reality hit her like a ton of bricks.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry I slapped you! I-I didn't know!" She said, looking at him with a worried look.

"It's alright, I kind of deserved it. I just... got caught up in the moment with my... ahem... uh... girlfriend at the time..." He said, looking away awkwardly.

"Oh... right..." Marinette turned her head away awkwardly as well.

"Now that you know my civilian self... is there any way we can try and make this work?" Chat asked, Marinette turned to face him and he saw a slight smile on her face.

"You know this is super weird, right?" She laughed.

"For you, maybe. Nothing has changed for me." He laughed.

"So... is that a yes... princess?" Chat said, walking toward her.

Marinette looked up at him and her face started to turn red so she looked down at her feet.

"Yeah..."

"What? I couldn't hear you." Chat said, smiling.

"Yes..."

"Princess... I can't hear you when you're looking down. The sound gets carried off with the wind you know."

Marinette rolled her eyes and looked up, about to shout it to him but as she turned her head upwards, he tilted his head downwards, placing his hand behind her neck to pull her toward him as her lips met his. Marinette's eyes widened with the sudden kiss but closed her eyes once she felt the familiar touch.

He removed his hand and leaned away from her, smiling as he saw her face was still bright red as it was when she found out his identity.

"What's the matter?" he laughed.

"I'm... just still processing.. Leave me alone! This is a lot alright. I had suspicions but..."

"Suspicions? How?" He asked, now intrigued.

"Uh... well..."

How could she get out of this now? She couldn't tell him that she knew information as Ladybug.

"You just... have the same... bed hair when you first wake up." She crossed her arms.

"My... bed hair almost gave it away?" He laughed and sat down on the roof, letting his legs dangle off the ledge.

"Y-yes! You should be careful how you sleep and who sees it, you know." She teased, taking a seat beside him as they watched the sunset.

"Well, that's good because you're the only one who should be seeing it." He smiled, causing her cheeks to turn pink again.

"Well... speaking about seeing... I talked to my parents about Paris and the U.S. before coming to see you." She said, fiddling with her fingers.

"I wondered what was taking you so long." He teased.

"Ugh, shut up!" She rolled her eyes. "Well... They said I can stay where it makes me happiest."

Chat noir gulped. He thought she was happiest with him but... they did have a breakup...something he never thought would happen. Does he even know Marinette like he thought? He used to think so, but now? He wasn't so sure.

"Uh... well? Where did you tell them you wanted to stay?" He said, not able to hide his worry.

"I didn't say. I just told them thanks and hugged them. Though... they did... tell me they wouldn't have known about how I felt if a certain blonde boy wouldn't have gotten the courage to come and tell them about it." Marinette smiled, causing Chat noir to blush and chuckle, knowing he had gotten caught.

"Your parents aren't going to keep any of my secrets from you, are they?" He laughed.

"Duh, they're my parents. But they definitely love you more than me as Chat noir." She winked.

"You think I could have gotten away with it if I would have asked as Chat noir?" He teased.

"Hmm... probably but they would have asked how you got inside without Adrien noticing." Marinette laughed.

"Eh... I could've half lied and said: Adrien let me in the window. It is my window after all." He laughed.

"Then they would be wondering where Adrien was!" Marinette laughed. "That would have made for a terrible reveal."

After they both laughed for a little while, the same unanswered question remained lingering.

"So... where are you planning on staying?" Chat noir asked, turning to look at Marinette.

She turned to look at him and smiled.

"I'm staying in Paris silly. You helped me get a job and I'm almost done with college. My parents said I can visit anytime, though I'll miss them so much and it won't be the same without them here." She said, turning back to watch the sunset.

"You have me... you forgot the part with me in it." He chuckled, causing her to laugh.

"Yeah... I have you." She rolled her eyes.

"You can stay at the company, but you can always just live here if you'd like... or if you want to move out on your own I can move in with you... or if not... you can try living on your own to see how it is." He smiled, fiddling with his hands, not sure if it was rude or not to invite himself to live together or not.

"Chat?... Adrien..?" Marinette laughed.

"Uh... yeah?" He said, looking up at her.

"Shut up." She laughed. "I'll live here until I have enough money and if you want you can move in with me. You can't live with your father forever and if we're a couple... we should... try living together... we practically already do." She blushed.

"Well... I've been sleeping on a little couch. You've been sleeping in my bed. I don't know if that technically counts." He teased.

"Ugh... I didn't know it was you!" She pushed him lightly.

"I tried to show you, but you told me no." He teased. "We slept together in my bed once since you started staying though."

It took a minute for Marinette to process it and he looked over at her. Her face was back to being red again.

"You alright princess?" He laughed.

"I'm so embarrassed. Ugh... you know I had the biggest crush on Adrien Agreste in high school? The breakup between me and Luka was because he thought I still had feelings for you." Marinette confessed.

"R-really?" Chat's eyes widened and blushed. "That... was kind of sudden. Why the sudden confession?"

"Because I wanted you to know why I'm acting all nervous now. I'm comfortable around my boyfriend Chat noir, but Adrien... not so much." She said, a little embarrassed.

"Ah... this is going to be fun." Chat laughed.

"Chat!" Marinette yelled.

"What? Come on princess. Let's go watch a movie and sleep beside... Adrien Agreste. Don't you want to lay beside me... Adrien Agreste?" He smiled, leaning in toward her, hearing her groan.

"I'm going to hurt you." She huffed, folding her knees to her chest and resting her head on her arms in a pout.

"Well... time to have some fun then. Plagg, claws in." He smirked.
