Strange things are happening. The fish are starting to float to the top of the water. People are getting really sick and dying. Izzy was one of the first to get sick. She's vomiting, sweating a lot, and having trouble breathing.

"She needs medicine, Skaikru medicine." I pleaded with Luna.

"It's too dangerous to go back, besides what makes you think they will help you after we turned them away?" Luna asked.

"It's a risk I'm willing to take, If it was Adria you'd do the same. Luna please." I begged. I'm trying to convince her to let me and and Izzy go home. She thinks it's too dangerous but I don't care. I do not want to sit here and watch my daughter die.

"Fine, but if you go you can't come back"

"Luna-"

"We have no idea what this sickness is, or what's causing it. We don't know if it's from Alie, or from the water.  Whatever is causing it, I don't want to put you or my people at risk." She said. I looked at her and nodded going to pack my things.

I go to the med bay to get Izzy before going on a crate that'll carry us back to land.

(...)

It took us a couple of days to get to Arkadia. I had to continuously stop to check on Izzy. We were moving so slow that Luna, Nyko, Adria, and four others caught up to us. Everyone was sick besides Nyko. They explained that things were getting so bad that they had to leave. They told me that they lost at least 40 people on the way.

When we made it to the gates there were guns pointed at us.

"Do not come any closer"

"Please. They need Skaikru medicine." Nyko told them.

"Move. Stand back" Bellamy and Clarke pushed his way through the crowd.

"Nyko." Clarke said walking closer. "What happened to them?"

"The sickness. We lost more than 40 on they way." He responded

Luna started coughing,

"Luna?" Bellamy asked.

"Please don't turn us away because of what I did to you." She answered.

"Help us please." I begged as Izzy started to vomit again.

"Rocky?" Raven asked.

"Out of my way. Please let me through." Abby pushed her way through the crowd. She walked closer and examined us.

"Mom, what is this" Clarke asked. Abby said something back to Clarke that I couldn't hear. I couldn't help but notice how close the two seemed to be. It made me think about what could have been.

"It's ARS." She said a bit louder.

"What's ARS?" I asked.

"Acute Radiation Sickness." Raven and Bellamy looked at each other like they knew something we didn't. Clarke stood up slowly. "When did the symptoms start?" Abby asked.

"Not sure" Luna responded.

"Right before the fish started dying." I added on.

"The fish are dying?" Raven asked.

"Floating on the sea to the horizon in every direction." Luna answered. Raven looked to Clarke with the same look as before.

"It's not contagious. Let's get them to Medbay." Abby instructed the others. I stood up with Izzy still in my hands and followed Abby.

(...)

I walk over to Abby, Clarke, and a guy I don't know, to ask them questions.

"It looks like the radiation is internal, ingested from irradiate fish." I heard the guy say.

"How come Rocky isn't sick?" Abby asked.

"I'm allergic to fish, just being in the same room as it would make my throat swell up. Maybe you would have known that if you hadn't sent me down here when I was ten" I said before walking back to Izzy.

(A/n: I just realized that I made a big mistake while writing this series. For some reason I always thought Rocky was younger than Lexa when she was supposed to be older. Lexa is 20, Rocky is 21 and Clarke is 18 almost 19)

On the Ark we didn't have real meat, like fish. So there was no way they would've known I was allergic. If Abby would have sent me down here with Clarke, or when she came down then maybe we would've figured that out together. Maybe 12 year old me wouldn't have almost died from eating fish because the grounders didn't have the right medicine to help me.

Izzy's eyes started to flutter open as I put the rag on her head. "Mommy?" She asked.

"I'm here, my love." I said looking at her.

"Everything hurts" She cried.

"I know baby, I'm gonna help you. Everything will get better." I told her. "Try to go back to sleep." I said she nodded her head still crying. I look over to see Adria squirming in her bed awake. "How bout I bring Adria over here and sing to you? I ask."

She nodded. "Please mommy."

I walk over to Adria and bring her bed closer. "Adria, would you like me to sing for you." She nodded.

She works the night,by the water
She's gonna stress, so far away
from her father's daughter
She just wants a life for her baby
All on her own, no one will come
She's got to save them

I notice how mostly everyone in the room was focused on us now.

She tells them "ooh love
No one's ever gonna hurt you, love"
"I'm gonna give you all of my love"
"Nobody matters like you"
She tells them
"your life ain't gonna be nothing like my life"
"You're gonna grow and have a good life"
"I'm gonna do what I've got to do"

I caress both of their faces as I notice their eyes getting lower.

So, rockabye, baby, rockabye

I'm gonna rock you
Rockabye, baby, don't you cry
Somebody's got you
Rockabye, baby, rockabye
I'm gonna rock you
Rockabye, baby, don't you cry
Rockabye, oh
Rockabye, oh, oh

Izzy falls asleep first, Adria gives a little cough before falling asleep.

Now she gotta a six year old
Trying to keep her warm
Trying to keep all the cold
When She looks her in the eyes
She don't know he's safe when she says
"Ooh love, no one's ever gonna hurt you, love"
"I'm gonna give you all of my love"
"Nobody matters like you"
(Imagine it's more of a lullaby tone.)
