"Why won't you open the heater?" Jungkook asked confused as Sarah walked to him with a mischievous smile.

"How about we hug eachother and keep ourselves warm?" She asked tilting her head and he chuckled.

"I like that idea more." He spread his arms for her and she jumped on the bed and he covered themselves in the blanket.

"Are you free this Sunday?" She asked.

"Not really, I-" She cut him off.

"Yes you are." She gave him a small glare."We are going to a concert. I have already booked the tickets. Do you know how difficult it is to get the tickets of The Weekends?" She sulked.

"I will cancel the meeting then." He smiled playing with her hair.

"Good." She ruffled his hair."Why do you agree to everything I say though?" Sarah asked amused.

"Umm, maybe because I like you ordering me around. It makes me feel nice you think you have that right on me. I like it when you rightfully scold me and most importantly, I want to be the last person to upset you." He kissed her head.

....................

Sarah removed the blanket from her face as she remembered the incident, she looked at Jungkook. She couldn't sleep but he was snoring carefree.

Sarah couldn't sleep, the rain had stopped too, she stood up and left outside. Although it was midnight, Sarah wasn't scared of walking on the road. She had done this everytime it became impossible for her to share the same roof as Jungkook.

She felt mad, disappointed, let down and upset with him. It felt like he was ignoring her emotions like they didn't matter to him.

She wanted to leave him but did she really hate him enough to leave him? Maybe she was scared of being left alone and abandoned.

Or maybe she still loved him. Whenever her mind questioned her feelings for him, she would change the place and try to ignore the heavy air.

She saw a little dog, he had come out of his house maybe, because he had a badge on his neck. She smiled as the dog played around her feet. She recognized him, it was her dog.

She crouched down and caressed it. She loved dogs, infact she even had one before marriage but Jungkook had severe allergy with dogs and he would get sick all the time so she gave her dog up to a shelter home.

Jungkook never asked her to do it, he knew she was attached to it but she couldn't let him suffer in silence, when they were in this marriage together.

But he gave up for this marriage too. Sarah was lactose intolerant and he gave up all the milk products because he didn't want cross contamination and gradually he got used to it.

"Aww, you didn't forget me. I missed you so much. How are you? And who took you home? Sorry I never came back to you because I was sure it would have gotten difficult for me to say you a good bye each time." She talked to the puppy as she picked him up.

"Yeontan." A young man called out loudly as he ran to her, he panted and then finally looked at Sarah."I am sorry for the trouble. He just doesn't like to stay at home." He caressed his dog."It's Taehyung." He introduced himself finally. Both couldn't see eachother that nicely because of the dark.

"Sarah." She bowed and Taehyung picked his dog up."So you are his dad now." She smiled touching his paws.

"Yeah, last year I found him in a shelter home, I felt a connection and took him home. He is my sole companion now." Taehyung smiled.

"You live here?" She asked, maybe she could meet her dog often now.

"Yeah, I am a sculptor and like to change my residency for inspiration and good vibes." He smiled.

"So you keep travelling?" She asked worriedly. She knew Yeontan had a breathing problem.

"Not much now, Yeontan has a medical problem so I avoid doing that or else he stays with my parents." Taehyung kissed his dog.

Jungkook woke up in his sleep out of thirst, he didn't find his wife beside him, Sarah would sleep walk so he ran out and he didn't find her there, also the door got opened with the wind. He ran out and looked around.

"SARAH!" He shouted and ran on the road before he saw her figure. She was talking with someone. He sprinted to her.

"Wow, your job is really amazing. I want to leave my job now." Sarah chuckled before she flinched when Jungkook held her shoulders.

"What are you doing here this late at night? And who are you and what are you doing with her?" He asked both of them. Taehyung sensed the tense air.

"Nothing, my dog ran out of the leash, I will get going. See ya." He bowed to them and walked away.

"You are panting." Sarah put her hand on Jungkook's chest. He looked at her."Why did you run out?" She asked.

He was in pain thinking she is in pain.

"It's late, you shouldn't be going out alone, we have drunkards and rapists in this country." He looked pissed."Come with me." He held her hand walked her inside.

"My sleep walks have stopped." She said and he stopped. She didn't tell him about this."For the past few months." She told him and walked past him.

Jungkook sighed and looked at the sky, his throat was dry because he was running, he got scared about where she would go this late.

He didn't chase her and silently followed her from behind. Sarah stepped on a bottle and fell down with a groan.

"Oh god, my foot." Sarah cried at the cramp.

Jungkook picked her in his arms and brought her home before making her sit on the couch.

Jungkook crouched down and gripped her foot and put it on his thigh before he twisted it with both his palms on her bone to fix her sprain, she yelped before she got silent and felt fine.

They both had the closest proximity this night, compared to how they would stay away from eachother the whole time.

"I couldn't sleep so I went out."

Sarah didn't want to say a thank you because she didn't ask him to do it and Jungkook didn't want to talk to her so he didn't say anything.

The talk from earlier made him realize how distant and unaware they had grown to eachother.

He closed his eyes and slept silently.

It hurt him she could talk to other strangers but her own husband. She just won't talk about the elephant in the room.
