The last thing Y/n needed was to be in the class of a woman like Miss thavel, that is what the principal, Miss Grace, figured anyways.

The two sat in the office Y/n came to at the beginning of the day, silently. The girls backpack was never returned because of earlier's confrontation, and now she sat sadly on a wooden bench by the entrance of that office.

She can't just sit here all depressed, it's her first day, after all., Miss Grace thought. Looking at the computer before her on the desk, she caught the grades she had before the summer break began, at her previous school.

Art, the information said. Y/n excels at art. Miss Grace went with that, and not P.E which this poor new student also did amazing at.

"Y/n, are you tolerable with children?" The principal asked, glancing through her glasses. Hearing her name called, Y/n looked up somewhat in a gloomy expression. A sad smile found its way on her glossed lips, "Yes. I am, I adore them."

"All right. How about skipping the rest of your assigned classes of the day, I'll take you to art class. The teacher, Miss Sasha, also teacher kindergarten children," Miss Grace pushed herself up out of the swivel chair she was seated in, walking around the desk and over to the bench. Her long, white ponytail swayed as she walked over, as did her hips which Y/n had to look away from.

"Which explains my previous question. I've seen that you did well in art, and seem to like it based off side notes on your performance?" She finished with a question.

"Ah, well then. I'd love that! I could use the distraction," Y/n chirped. The thought Miss Grace had was very kind, "and yes! I love art, it's my favorite!" The girl in braids confirmed with a gleaming smile, now standing readily before the principal.

"Very well then," Miss Grace held a hand towards the door, the exit and entrance to the office, "Let's head there now."

"Ah, so she's the new student I was supposed to have for flex period?" Flex period would be in two periods, last of the day. Which is what Miss Sasha was asking, seeking one more form of clarification from her employer.

Miss Grace nodded, "Yes. Keep her for the rest of the day, she could use the break." The kindergarten teacher nodded. The women looked over, seeing Y/n in a much more chipper mood, smiling fondly as a group of children surrounded her curiously. Their small hands held her own, or played with her duo colored braids in admiration.

It was truly a sweet sight, which made the beret wearing teacher smile, "She seems like a kind girl, I don't mind having her here."

"Good, I'll leave you to it then." With that, green suited woman turned and took her departure from the class filled with loud children.

"Miss Sasha, Miss Sasha!" One of the many kids ran over, a little girl named Greta with short curled white hair and two little horns along with floppy ears, on her cheeks, swirl lines. She wore a cute black dress, and a fluffy white tail. Miss Sasha looked down at little Greta, the pages of the book on her face fluttering to the right.

"Did you see Y/n's hair?! It's so pretty!" Greta's innocent big eyes looked up in excitement as she pointed over to the crowded girl sitting on the floor. "It is, isn't it? Now, cmon," Miss Sasha leant down, instinctively, little Greta reached her arms up.

"Time to go take your medicine." With the five-year-old on her hip, the artistic woman walked over to the cubbies lined on the nearby wall.

Meanwhile, Y/n smiled warmly in joy at how adorable and kind these little ones were. Their big innocent eyes, excited smiles, no one had ever looked at her hair with such fascination. Other than doctors, or her family members when her h/c shifted into the pink and green ombre it was now.

A

las, children are children. The group quickly got distracted by one thing, followed by another then were back at their loud playtime. Except one, a little boy with big bunny ears, black like his spiky short hair. Strangely, he had three different colored hoops on his ears, but Y/n said nothing and played, holding a pink stuffed bunny while he held a white one.

Greta, after seeing the boy in Y/n's company, led Miss Sasha over to the two to play.

"Hi James, hi Y/n!" Greta loudly greeted the two, both James and Y/n looking up from their stuffed toys, Y/n smiling warmly, "Hello-"

"My names Greta!"

"Hello Greta!"

Miss Sasha smiled, getting down onto her knees and joining the little group. She looked at James, who remained silent the whole interaction. The little bunny eared boy didn't even tell Y/n his name.

Y/n handed over the pink bunny, making the girl smile gleefully and snatch it up. The young adult smiled watching the little ones play, Greta did the talking for both of them- James never peeped once.

Miss Sasha looked around at the other kindergarten kids, making sure they weren't harming eachother, themselves- or anything else wrong. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary or concerning, she turned back to the three, seeing Y/n's warm smile.

"Your hair is very pretty, how'd you get it dyed?" Miss Sasha asked, the mention of dye caught the pinkette's attention, "Dye? No, this isn't dyed- actually..in a way I suppose it is..." Y/n mumbled the last bits to herself before giving a proper answer.

"I guess you can say it was dyed when I was about...one?" She sounded more questioning, putting a finger on her chin in thought.

Miss Sasha's brow raised, eye going wide, "One? That's awfully young.."

"I'm not exactly sure how to explain it- but I eat a lot- and the pigment in the food I ate turned my hair pink and green!" A hum of surprise came from Y/n's right, where Miss Sasha was.

Y/n took a moment to take in this teachers appearance; the dark, high ponytail, and cute beret with the rainbow colored ribbon holding the ponytail up. She wore simple clothing, Miss Sasha. Black jacked, zipped up with a wide stoped shirt beneath. Black capri pants on her well built legs, she must run, Y/n thought.

A simple appearance, yet it fits the teachers role so well.

The bell went off above signaling it was time to switch into the period before the last of the day, catching everyones attention quickly. And just like that, the children scrambled to the cubbies holding their belongings, making Miss Sasha quickly jump up from the ground in panic. For the kindergarteners, it was time for home.

Yeah, they trampled eachother.

Y/n felt bad for giggling at the scene of knocked over children and some angry ones yelling.

(Italics, in this case here, signifying memory.)

"That is quite the interesting explanation! So you eat so much because of your muscle density?" Miss Sasha asked, making careful strokes along the canvas with a paintbrush in hand.

Y/n nodded at the canvas besides her, now wearing a beret of her own on her head in a light shade of tan. "Yeah!" The girl could feel her palms sweating, sometimes it was..hard to talk about this certain subject.

Now that Miss Sasha understood this clearly- that Y/n is very strong and has to eat that much- would she judge? No, this teacher seems much too kind to do that, it's just dumb nerves...

Thankfully this period was a empty one. There wasn't a class for this period, after the kindergarten class left. No one could overhear.

She shook her head, glancing over and pausing her hand movement.

"That's actually pretty fascinating- I have a feeling Miss Bloomie will like you." Miss Bloomie? That rung a bell. Y/n looked at her painting, sticking her tongue out in concentration.

Miss Bloomie..oh, that'd be-

"You mean the science teacher, right?" The girl asked, seeing a nod in her peripheral. "Yeah, that's her! When you get to her class, make sure to pay attention-"

The bell rung once again, now it was officially last period!

Y/n went to speak, but was cut off the door opening. In peeked none other than...Miss Circle?

Miss Sasha and Y/n both looked at the tall woman entering with curious looks, hands paused, paintbrushes frozen in their colorful tracks on the canvas. Miss Circle's long legs brought her to the two talented artists quickly- her now towering over the women.

She looked at Y/ns canvas, humming in approval,

"Hm, looks edible!-"

"Miss Circle..." Miss Sasha had her eye shut, exhaling loudly in exasperation.

"Please...not again."

Y/n sweatdropped, seeing Miss Circle smile mischievously while licking her lips.

A blanket of silence settled over the three, until Y/n spoke up with a nervous nod and a somewhat pleading tone, "Y-Yes, please...not again...whatever it is.."

"Its exactly what you think." Miss Sasha glared up at the math teacher, flicking her paintbrush at Miss Cirlce who merely blocked it with her arm.

"She eats paint."

Now, it was after school. Three students walked away from the huge school and towards their homes..

"Wait," Claire laughed at the right of Y/n, hearing the story told by her new friend. "Miss Circle eats paint??" Ru, at Y/n's left (meaning y/n is in the center of them), "like actually? That's, uh...mildly concerning."

Y/n nodded vigorously, "Yeah!- she licked her arm after Miss Sasha flicked paint at her..."

Both Claire and Ru grimaced, faces scrunched up in disgust at the thought of paint being ingested. Deep down though, Claire wasn't surprised...

Y/n looked ahead, seeing that they were now entering the neighborhood they all reside in...she smiled, happy that she had a good story to tell her parents.

Oh, minus almost being killed..
