And so, the search has begun. It was a race against the clock to find Kalluto and to make sure he was safe. No one knows what happened to him. Did he get caught? Is he lost and wondering around somewhere? They could only imagine. But they all hope he was okay, somewhere safe. Maybe he was...?

It's now around 11 A.M, making this another hour free from that room. I've been walking around the streets of this place, wherever this is. I saw many other people walking around, talking to each other, eating, and carrying bags.
Then... I saw it!

I turned the corner and saw a whole new perspective of this boring place. There were many colorful little pieces of paper flying around, with stands and booths selling all kinds of things. I smiled brightly, put on my hoodie (for no one to see my bandages), and ran over to this new part of fun.

| [Killua's POV] |

Damn it! It's been over an hour and I've still haven't found him. It shouldn't take this long to search for him at all! Where could he be?

I pull out my phone and text Alluka and Illumi in our group chat.

Me: - <( Hey, any luck?? )

Alluka: - <( No... )

Illumi: - <( None from me )

Me: - <( Crap... alright. Let me know when you both find something.)

There's nothing around here. Maybe if I get up higher, I'll get a better view of this place? So, I jumped onto a tall building nearby, and it did give me a better sight of this place. There were lots of people everywhere, making it more difficult to find him.

I jumped down and decided to ask some people.

| [???'s POV] |

Killua ran up to several people and asked them if they had seen Kalluto. But they all have the same answer.

"Sorry kid, haven't seen anything."
"No, I haven't."
"I was in the store the whole time, so no."
"I'm sorry, I haven't seen them."
"Nope."
"I haven't, but hopefully you find them!"

This was getting difficult for him. If he didn't have a clue, where could Kalluto have gone? He needed a break from this. That's when he went to the town square to buy some choco-robots. He discovered a festival happening there.

"Maybe he went through here?" he thought. He listened to his thought and went through with it. Running into the crowd, he was determined to find Kalluto.

| [Kalluto's POV] |

This place was so colorful and breathtaking! People everywhere had masks over their faces, carrying a floating piece of rubber, and just celebrating in general. I decided to get a mask myself, a nice purple one with lots of sparkly things on it. There were people standing on really high polls, making them very tall. I'm surprised that they can stay in the air without falling!

As I walked through the middle of dozens of stands, I smelled incredible foods. Oh, that's right- I haven't eaten all day today, so I was getting pretty hungry. I looked for one place to eat, but it was hard to decide. Everything looked and smelled delicious...

So I decided to try everything.

- 40 minutes later. . . -

That was so good- I feel like I could eat it all again! I began to walk away from the booths to this big stage that had been set up for a later music show. I smiled wondering what kind of music would play. But, I felt something weird...

I peaked my head behind my shoulder and saw someone staring at me, multiple people. We made direct eye contact before they started making their way towards me. I gulped. What should I do?

I needed to run away. Looking around, I didn't see too many hiding areas. Putting on my purple mask, I ran down the sidewalks, trying to avoid the upcoming people. They too ran after me, as expected.

This is going to be a game of tag, I presume. And I challenge them to get me before the end of the day!

| [Alluka's POV] |

This was very tough! It's like he's purposefully hiding from us, trying to get us to find him, like hide and seek!

Luckily for me, I'm the master at finding! It's probably going to take all day, but hopefully I'll find him first. I need to make if he's okay, I'm not completely sure...

But it still needs to be done! I will find Kalluto and...
Wait, I don't know what to say to him when I find him...
Why didn't I think of something sooner?

It doesn't matter, I'll say whatever I need to when I face him. Which will be a while before I do...

| [Killua's POV] |

Another hour passed, no progress for me...
But on the other hand, I have a few boxes of choco-robots to keep me satisfied. I loaded them into a little wagon I bought, and dragged it along as I walked through this festival. There were so many people with masks. I wonder if Kalluto got a mask and is hiding among them?

I'll just only hope for that. Meanwhile, I'll just take a break. I find a fountain in the middle and sat down, opening one of the boxes.

I almost took out one before I heard something. Then, Alluka came running up to me, her face red and sweating. She took the choco-robot from my hand and looked at me angry.

"Onii-Chan! You can't rest right now. Kalluto may be in danger!" she scolded me.

I slumped over in defeat. She was right, we can't stop looking. I put the box back into my wagon and get up. She smiles at this and starts walking, in which I follow too.

But... we saw something.

A little figure running away with their hoodie on. A mask covered their face, a purple one.

After they ran past us, we saw a group of people chasing them. All of them had a pin behind their head.

Once they all went the other direction, we saw a familiar face, Illumi. He walked over to us and smiled.

"Illumi, why did you put your needle people here? You know others will become suspicious!" I yelled at him. "And why the hell are you smiling?"

"Well, because I've found him." he replied, pointing at the direction where they went. "How about it? He's good at hiding from us, isn't he?"

"You found... Kalluto?"

I'm going to be working on the next chapter soon, but I'll have to go on a little due to school- but I will definitely update either before it, or after I'm done!
