(Skye's Pov)

"We're moving where?!" I look at my father in disbelief and he just gives me a calm smile while cooking some of his homemade seaweed soup. "We're moving to South Korea." I gape at him in disbelief. "Why?" He turns the stove down before turning to me. "Sweetie I know we've both been having a really hard time since dad died. And I honestly think us staying around here and being surrounded with every single thing of him isn't healthy. So I think we could both use a new start where we have memories of your dad but also where it isn't being shoved down our throats every minute of every day." I stay quiet processing everything before speaking up again. "Why South Korea though?" He smiles at me. "Well I haven't been there since before I met your dad and I miss it. Plus I found a really nice school for you." I raise an eyebrow at him and he hands over a pamphlet from his jacket pocket. "Here look at this while I finish dinner." I look at the piece of paper with a slight frown noticing it looks like a normal school but it's apparently for all kinds of supernatural creatures. Putting it aside I let out a small sigh and grasp onto my silver locket with a picture of me at four with both my fathers in it all of us smiling. My dad was killed by hunters last year for being a siren and my papa took it extremely hard. Especially since dad was his mate. Suddenly a bowl of seaweed soup is put in front of me and I give a tiny appreciative smile. "So what do you think of the school?" I shrug eating some of my soup. "It looks fancy. And I'm afraid they'll be all snotty and make fun of me. Especially because my Korean's rusty." He gently ruffles my dirty blonde hair. "It'll be okay bud I have faith that you'll have a good time at this place." I put on a brave smile for him. "Okay papa." He gives me a cheerful smile then we go back to eating before doing the dishes and heading to bed because apparently we're moving by the end of the week.
