I woke up in Fred's arms. I'm tired of being sad. Today's going to be a good day. I slowly got out of bed, trying not to wake up Fred. I went into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I have never looked worse. My hair was a tangled mess, my face was breaking out, my eyes had bags under them, and I could practically see my bad breath. I brushed my teeth first, then decided to do my makeup. I pulled my hair back and took out my makeup bag. I pulled out my porcelain foundation and my mascara. I never use much makeup. I'm more worried about my hair than my face. After I finished my makeup I started brushing my hair. It was nearly impossible to get all the tangles out. Then I heard Claire talking downstairs. I dropped the brush and sprinted out of the room and down the stairs. Molly had just gotten back from picking up Claire, Ron, and Ginny. I tackled Ginny to the ground and hugged her like it was the last time I'd ever see her.
"Gin, I am so sorry. You have no idea how horrible I feel. I love you so much and I will always listen to you when you need me. Im sorry!"
"Stevi, it's okay. I understand. I love you too."
"No it's not! What do I have to do to make it up to you?"
"You can start by letting me get up."
"Oh, yeah, sorry."
I got up and helped Ginny stand up. We say on the couch and faced each other.
"Ginny are you okay?"
"Yeah. Harry saved me. He ruined the diary Tom used to control me."
"Tom?"
"Voldemorts real name," Claire answered.
"Well I'm glad he was there for you when I wasn't..."
"Hey, you were way too stressed to be able to deal with that. I don't want to think about what could've happened if you weren't focused enough to fight. I'm glad you were sent home."
"I love you so much, Ginny."
"I love you too, Stevi. And so does someone else." She motioned to someone behind me.
I turned around and saw Fred holding a bouquet of pink roses.
"Isn't that a bit cliche Fred?" Ron asked.
"They're my favorite. You would know that if you listened to me, Ronnykins."
Ron rolled his eyes and went upstairs to unpack. Claire and Ginny laughed and went into Ginny's room.
"What are these for?" I asked, taking the flowers from Fred.
"They're for you, silly."
"Well I got that. But why?"
"I can't do a nice thing for my girlfriend?"
"What'd you do to them?"
"They're okay, dear," Molly said from the kitchen.
"Come on. I want to show you something. But you have to close your eyes," Fred said.
"Reallyyyy?" I whined.
"Unless you just want to go back upstairs and spend the rest of the day bored."
"Hey, don't threaten me with a good time," I teased.
He glared at me and I giggled and closed my eyes.
"No peeking!"
He took my hand and he led me to his mysterious spot. I could tell it was out of view from the Burrow, but still close.
"Okay. Open."
I opened my eyes. We were in the middle of a beautiful meadow. Dandelions were everywhere. I kneeled down and grabbed one. I closed my eyes and blew the seeds into the air.
I wish to stay with my Freddie forever and always.
Fred had set up a picnic for us. There was an empty vase in the middle of the blanket so I put the bouquet of roses in it. I sat down criss-cross and motioned for Fred to sit with me.
"So who came up with this crazy idea?" I asked.
"I did. With some help from George. But mostly me."
I smiled. I think it's adorable how he always asks for Georgie's opinion. George and I have talked about it. George told me Fred's always afraid that his plans aren't good enough for me. I've told Fred we could literally sit on our bed and stare at each other for hours and it would still be the perfect date, but he doesn't listen.
"Whats on your mind, love?"
"Oh, nothing. Just thinking about how silly you are."
"Am I?"
"I told you you don't have to go through all this trouble."
"But it's worth it for you. It made you happy, did it not?"
"It made me very happy. But I'd be happy no matter what we were doing, Freddie."
"Well I like adventure. And it's nice to get some alone time."
"I can't argue with that."
"So we have PBJs, chocolate frogs, licorice wands, biscuits, pumpkin juice, and Bertie Botts every flavour beans."
"Oooooo, okay. I say we do Bertie Botts first so we can hide the taste with other foods."
Fred brought out the box and poured them onto a plate.
"Okay I'll go first," Fred said.
I covered his eyes and he grabbed a bean off the plate and ate it.
"Why do I always get the bad ones! I got earwax!"
He took a drink of pumpkin juice and covered my eyes. I grabbed a bean and put it in my mouth.
"Blueberry!" I said, smiling.
We took turns eating the beans. We laughed and Fred would occasionally take my turn when we realized all the good ones were gone.
After we were done with Bertie Botts, we snacked on the other foods. We joked, we laughed, we talked. Neither of us realized how fast time was going until it started getting dark.
"Shouldn't we head back soon?" I asked.
"No. George knows where we are. If mom needs us back he'll come get us."
"Oh. That's good. Lay with me, Freddie."
I laid back on the blanket and looked up at the stars. Fred laid next to me and pulled me closer to him.
"It's beautiful, isn't it? I've never seen the sky away from the city. All the lights in the city takes away from the beauty of the stars."
"Well I'm glad I could show it to you."
"I'm glad you could too."
I looked over at him and noticed he was starring at me. He smiled and I smiled back. His eyes shine brighter than the stars, and I'm sure he was thinking the same about mine. I always saw the mushy nonsense relationships on TV and rolled my eyes, thinking they were overreacting. But being here, in this moment, I realized I was wrong. It was the opposite. The relationships on TV don't show you a thing about love. Everything you see is an understatement. The real thing is so much more than you could ever imagine.
"Freddie..."
"Yes?"
"I love you."
"I love you too, Stevi."
Fred pulled me on top of him and pressed his lips against mine. Another assumption I had was passion fades through the relationship. I used to believe nothing could compare to that first kiss. I couldn't have been further from the truth. Every kiss with Fred is better than the last. Even if it's just a peck before class. I can feel our relationship grow stronger with every kiss.
I rolled over so Fred was on top of me. He pinned me to the ground and looked at my lips. I started biting my lip begging to feel his lips. He smiled and brushed his lips against mine. I moaned and tried to pull myself up to kiss him, but every time I got close he would pull back and hold my arms down tighter.
"Freddie! Let me kiss you!" I whined.
"But it's so cute when you beg."
He brushed past my lips again and kissed my cheek. Continuing to my jaw line, then my neck. I felt his lips against my collar bone. He pulled both my wrists together, holding them in one hand. He pulled my shirt down and looked at me, making sure I was okay with it. I bit my lip in response. He lowered his mouth to my chest. I could feel his breath on my skin, causing me to shiver. I felt his soft lips on my breast, sucking. He would move to a new spot, but not before biting my new bruise. He fixed my shirt and pinned me with both hands again. He looked me in the eyes.
"You're mine. Every mark I leave on you is me marking my territory. Understand?"
I nodded, not being able to find my voice. He kissed me, gently. Our lips moving in synch. Moving to the beat of our own drum.
"Stevi! Fred! Dinner's ready!" I heard George yell.
Fred pulled away and smiled at me. He got up and held out a hand. I took it and we packed up the picnic and headed back home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You two were gone for a while. Georgie looked like a lost puppy without you two around," Ginny said, when we sat down for dinner.
Fred put his arm around my shoulder and lifted my shirt over a hickey. I looked over at him and he winked.
"We had fun. We lost track of time. I was so engaged in our conversation I didn't even noticed it getting dark," I said, grinning.
"You better not have had too much fun," Molly said, sitting at the table with us.
"Molly they're 14. How much fun could they possibly have?" Arthur replied.
"Im going wash my hands actually. I was picking at the grass," I said quickly, realizing my face was turning red.
I started walking upstairs and heard Fred following. I stopped outside the bathroom.
"Fred! What if they find out?!"
"Find out what? They know we kiss. It's nothing new."
He had a smirk on his face as he started walking closer to me. I took a step back when he took a step closer.
"Parents don't like seeing hickeys! Especially in the chest area."
I hit the wall and Fred pinned me.
"They won't find out, Stevi."
He kissed my nose, then the hickey that doesn't want to hide.
"I'm changing my shirt. I'm cold. Can you go tell them?"
He dropped his arms and poked my nose before turning to walk away. I smiled as he started walking down the stairs. He stopped and turned to look at me. I quickly tried to stop smiling and he laughed. I rolled my eyes and changed into a sweater (that showed no skin.)
