ALR CHAP NAME: " he loves me, he loves me not. "

.

fire spirit was alone now. He stood outside the small cottage, his heart pounding in his chest.

Hes confessing to Wind archer, the wind goddess himself.

Fire spirit's mind raced, replaying every encounter he had with Wind in his memories.

It was suddenly very clear to him now.

Wind archer, with his flowing green hair and eyes that gleaming like the night sky.

Every time he passed by, his gentle breeze would brush against his fiery skin, sending shivers down his spine.

He couldn't deny the way his heart fluttered whenever he smiled at him, or the way his laughter filled his ears like a sweet melody.

But the thought of confessing his love to he filled Fire spirit with a mix of excitement and fear.

What if he didn't feel the same way? What if their friendship was ruined because of his selfish desire?

He took a deep breath, gathering his courage.

Fire spirit knew he couldn't let the fear hold him back any longer.

In a hurry, Fire spirit set off towards the forest, flying as fast as he could.

oh, what a mistake that was.

. . .

Wind archer stood with the Millennial tree.

As Fire spirit head from the trees, while far away, his gaze fell upon Wind archer. He dared to not make a sound.

Wind archer stood next to the Millennial tree, about to say somthing

Wind archer can tell something was off.

Almost like there was a familiar presence.

Wind archer's eyes widened in surprise as he turned around, spotting Fire spirit hovering in the air, his flame-like hair sparking in the wind.

"Fire spirit?" Wind archer called out, his voice filled with confusion.

"What are you doing here?"

Fire spirit landed in front of Wind archer, his heart throbbing in his chest.

He took a deep breath before speaking, his voice filled with a mix of nervousness and determination.

"I... I have something to tell you, important" he panted, his eyes locked with his.

"Follow me, please."

. . .

Wind archer's expression softened as he listened, a gentle smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

his smile was everything to fire spirit.

Wind archer placed a hand on Fire spirit's hand, his touch sending a warm sensation through his entire being.

almost enough to make him panic.

"I'm here to listen, Fire spirit. " Wind archer reassured him, his eyes filled with kindness and understanding.

No, you'll leave me after this, wouldn't you?

Fire spirit felt a surge of embarrassment and courage wash over him as he gazed into Wind archer's eyes, seeing nothing but sincerity and acceptance.

Taking a deep breath, he finally spoke the words that had been on his heart for so long.

"I-," He paused, unsure of how to explain himself. "Wind archer. You- (choking noise here) Wind- wind archer."

He loves me.

he chokes on more petals, Wind archer looks at him worried. Fire spirit continues in spite of his lack of breathe.

"I like- love love you." Fire spirit confessed, his voice filled with emotion.

Wind archer's eyes widened in surprise, a look of horror dawning on his face.

He loves me not.

He took a step back, his hands trembling slightly.

He loves me.

"I... I never knew," Wind archer stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

Fire spirit's heart sank, his whole being feeling as though it might extinguish at any moment.

He loves me not.

The silence stretched between them, the weight of his words heavy and unbearable. He could feel tears stinging his eyes, the fear of rejection gripping him tight.

"Fire spirit," Wind archer began, his voice filled with tenderness. "I never knew you felt this way. . I... I care for you deeply as well."

He loves me.

Fire spirit's heart leaped with hope at his words, relief flooding through him like a warm wave.

He continued.

"I dont see you that way."

Fire spirit felt as though the ground had fallen out from under him, his heart plummeting into a bottomless abyss.

The words echoed in his mind, ringing with a haunting finality.

"i dont see you that way."

It echoed so loudly.

Wind archer's gentle rejection crushed his spirit, leaving him feeling empty and lost.

He held the tears, he tried to hold them at least.

"Im sorry. Ill go." He said shakily,

the last petal, he loves me not. he didn't even love me from the start, how naive was he?

such stupidity.

Fire spirit turned away from Wind archer, unable to meet his gaze any longer.

The weight of flowers inside his throat filled him, making it hard for him to breathe.

Wind archer reached out a hand towards Fire spirit, his voice soft and filled with regret. "Please, don't go," he pleaded.

But Fire spirit shook his head, his resolve hardening in the face of rejection.

"Sorry." he managed to choke out, his voice was thick with feelings.

He swore he could scream at the moment.

Yet his throat so, so full. (of flowers)

he held his tongue and flew away.

. . .

Why did his heart choose wind archer?

Fire spirit flew through the forest, his heart filled with rejection.

He choked loud. The flowers and the tears were getting to him.

Each beat of his heart felt like a drum, echoing too loud for him.

The wind reminded him through the trees, carrying the reminder of Wind archer's rejection to him. With each gust, Fire spirit felt a fresh wave of heartache wash over him.

a flower falls.

As he soared above the treetops, tears threatened to spill from his eyes, but he never dared to let them fall.

The now daylight filtered through the canopy, casting an glow on the forest below.

Fire spirit's thoughts were consumed by the memory of Wind archer's crushing words.

another flower falls.

He landed on a small clearing by a rocky-lava stream, the lava shining brightly in the daylight.

The thick drops from the lava drops falling in the rest of the lava.

Almost like the tears that he couldnt hold back any longer.

The flowers keep falling out as he chokes.

Fire spirit's whole body trembled with the weight of his emotions.

The watery tears that spilled from his eyes sizzled as they hit the ground, evaporating into smoke.

How was he foolish enough to think he had a chance with him?

The lava stream beside him bubbled and churned, reciprocating those same feelings.

Fire spirit let out a quiet sob, not wanting to attract anything.

He swore he felt weaker by the passing seconds.

Maybe its the flowers affecting him.

Despite the warmth of the lava nearby, Fire spirit felt a coldness seeping into his very core.

Almost like he was turning to ash.

The rejection from Wind archer gnawed at him, tearing him apart inside. He sat on a rock, his fiery hair dimmed as if mirroring the dimming of his spirit.

Fire spirit looked up, tears still glistening in his eyes, almost yearning for wind archer.

Yet he knew, no one would come.

He was alone.

He had Himself and those stupid spewing flowers, which by now were ashes.

The sound of his soft sobs reverberated in the clearing, mixing with the bubbling of the lava stream.

Fire spirit felt a profound sense of loneliness wash over him, an ache in his heart that seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment.

He gazed into the flickering flames of the lava, their dance reminding him of the fleeting hope he had held onto before Wind archer's rejection crushed it.

The remained ashes of the flower danced in the wind

He couldn't take this.

He was so fond of windarcher, the one who refused him.

Fire spirit's whole being felt so light, so weak.

Those damn flowers. . !

He let out a shuddering breath, trying to steady his emotions as best as he could.

Yet he felt sick in his stomach, he couldnt breathe. they just fell and fell out of him.

His vision blurred.

He could use some rest.
