The sound of the rain hitting the roof of the car is the only sound that is heard. As the car drives past the thick forest, the only thing that is seen is the road ahead of them because of the headlights of the car otherwise the night is really dark.

"Joon, when are you going to learn driving, huh? It's so inconvenient for me to drive you everyday. I have work too." A pissed Kim Seokjin says to his husband as he tries to focus his eyes on the road but it's very difficult because of the rains.

"Where's the time, Jin?" His husband, Kim Namjoon says.

"What sins did I commit in my past life that I got a mate as lazy you? Oh and not to forget, chaotic as well." Seokjin glares at Namjoon.

"Now what did I do?" Namjoon asks, already knowing that he might be killed by his omega mate if he didn't shut up and talk against him.

"It was you who broke my favourite vase this morning, right?" Seokjin accuses him but he knows that he is right when he sees his mate looking away. Seokjin just rolls his eyes. His mate is really mature and smart but when it comes to things like these, he is a total kid.

"JINIE! FOCUS!" Namjoon's panicked voice brings him back from his trance and he looks ahead of himself. His eyes widen at the sight of a human figure ahead of him and his foot immediately presses the brake. The car comes to an abrupt stop throwing the bodies of both the mates ahead due to inertia.

"What the fuck!" Namjoon is still panicking and so is Seokjin. The two of them jump out of their car in the heavy rain and their mouths hang open when they see a boy on the ground, unconscious. They can see that he is heavily pregnant, probably in the last few weeks of his pregnancy.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! What have I done? J-Joonie... W-What have I-I done?" Seokjin starts crying.

"Jinie, calm down. Let's look at him first, okay?" Namjoon says, trying to sound calm because at least one of the two need to stop panicking and think straight.

"B-But... But I... But I h-hit him. J-Joonie... I-I-I h-hit h-him." Seokjin is shaking and Namjoon is confused. Seokjin did not hit the boy because the car stopped a feet or two away from the unconscious boy. Namjoon kneels down in front of the pregnant boy and checks his breathing and pulse. It's faint and weak, but it's still there. He quickly gets up and looks at his husband who is still talking to himself about how this is his fault.

He holds Seokjin by his shoulders and shakes him. "Jin, listen. You did not hit him and it's not the time to blame yourself. We need to get him to the hospital. You hear me?" He says but it seems like his voice doesn't reach the other.

"KIM SEOKJIN! SNAP OUT OF IT! YOU ARE A GODDAMN DOCTOR! YOU NEED TO STOP BLAMING YOURSELF AND CHECK HIM UP, YOU UNDERSTAND? YOU ARE HIS ONLY HOPE!" Namjoon yells and that seems to bring Seokjin out of his trance. He quickly nods and kneels down beside the boy.

"An omega." He whispers. He looks at Namjoon and tells him to pick him up. "Take him to the backseat and sit with him, yeah? I'm bringing us to the pack hospital." He tells him. Namjoon nods and carries the omega to the backseat of the car. Seokjin takes the wheel and starts driving towards the hospital.

"Oh my God! You're finally awake." Seokjin says when he sees the young omega's eyes slowly open. When Seokjin had found the other omega, he brought him to the hospital for a checkup. Within a few minutes, Seokjin realised that the younger needed a surgery as soon as possible. It was the only way to save the unborn pup because the younger had many complications.

The surgery was a success and the omega and his pup are both safe. Seokjin is really happy about it as he feels like a big burden is lifted off of his shoulders.

"I-I..." Seokjin hears the younger omega's broken voice. He sees his eyes tearing up and his hand automatically goes to his stomach. "M-My... M-my pup. W-Where's m-my pup?" He asks, he looks like he's on the verge of crying and Seokjin feels really bad for him.

"Hey, hey! Relax, okay? Your pup is fine. He is healthy and right now, he is sleeping." Seokjin says and smiles kindly at the younger who sighs in relief. Seokjin sits down beside him and smiles. He gently holds his hand but the younger flinches at the touch and removes his hand. Seokjin does not touch him again as he doesn't want to make him uncomfortable.

"I'm Kim Seokjin and I f-found you in the forest. And uh... I'm sorry for not paying attention on my car. It didn't hurt you though. I guess you fainted because of the s-shock and-" Seokjin starts explaining because he feels very guilty and thinks that the other deserves to know the truth.

"Y-You s-saved me... and m-my pup?" The younger omega asks, his eyes full of hope.

"Yeah."

"T-Thank you s-so much. I don't th-think I could ever re-repay your kindness." The younger sobs. Seokjin's heart clenches seeing him like that.

"It's not a problem. I only did what's right and I'm a doctor. It's my job to help people." Seokjin says, smiling in assurance at him. The younger smiles faintly too. Seokjin sits down on the stool beside him and asks him, "So what's your name?"

The younger omega visibly stiffens at the question. He looks at the doctor with a scared expression. Seokjin understands that he is having a hard time just by looking at him. "Hey, it's okay. You don't have to worry about anything here. I'm here for you."

The younger feels a lump forming in his throat. He feels emotional by the words spoken by the doctor. He also saved his life and his pup's. "I'm... My n-name is Tae-Taehyung." He manages to speak.

"Taehyung! That's a lovely name. By the way, can you tell me about your family? You could perhaps give me the phone number of a family member or relative so that I can contact them." Seokjin says. Taehyung's expression turns sad and tears well up his eyes. It's a clue for Seokjin that this matter is sensitive for the other.

"It's okay if you don't-"

"I d-don't know any family... or fr-friends." Taehyung says, a sob escapes his mouth.

"Oh I'm so sorry." Seokjin says. Even though he does not know anything about the omega, he feels like he can feel his pain. He understands him. Maybe because he is an omega himself.

"M-My pup is my only fam-family and I'm so... thankful th-that you s-saved him." Taehyung sobs hard and Seokjin doesn't realise when he starts crying too. He holds Taehyung's hand and caresses it, trying to tell him that he is here for him.

"It's okay, Taehyung. You are safe and so is your pup." He says.

"For a l-long time... I've b-been tor-tortured. Th-they tortured me b-because I didn't w-want to be with those alphas and betas. M-My l-life was mi-miserable." Taehyung says and closes his eyes. Tears stream down his cheeks. He doesn't know why he is telling all this to Seokjin. Maybe it's because he saved him and his pup.

"It's okay. You don't have to think about this and feel sad. You are here with us and you don't have anything to worry about. You should try to cheer up because you have your pup now. And let me tell you, he is very cute." Seokjin says and smiles. Taehyung's eyes shine at the mention of his pup.

"M-My pup. Where's h-he?" Taehyung asks as he looks around the room. Seokjin calls the nurse who is holding the baby in her arms. She gives the small pup to his mother. A beautiful smile spreads on Taehyung's face when he sees a cute, small boy wrapped in a blue blanket in his arms.

"H-He is so c-cute. He's so small." He smiles, his eyes never leave his son's face.

"What are you going to name him?" Seokjin asks happily as he witnesses a beautiful scene of a mother loving his son in front of him.

"Soobin." Taehyung says and smiles.

"Taehyung, you know you can stay longer. We don't mind." Seokjin says to the younger omega. It's been two weeks since Taehyung gave birth and he stayed with Seokjin and Namjoon at their house all this time. Now he thinks that the older omega and his alpha mate have done more than enough for him and it's time for him to leave.

"But I don't want to be a burden on the two of you. You both have taken such good care of me and Soobin and I... I don't want to trouble you with my problems anymore." Taehyung says, rocking his alpha son in his arms.

"Nonsense. You aren't a bother. You can stay here for as long as you want." Namjoon says and Taehyung doesn't know what to say. The Kim couple are really kind towards him.

"Do you even have a place to go, Tae?" Seokjin asks. Taehyung gulps and slowly shakes his head, "N-No." Taehyung had told them earlier that the pack he belonged to was too cruel on him and the alphas and betas forced him there. He doesn't really want to go there.

"Then you are staying with us." Namjoon says with finality.

"But I don't want to seem like a free loader." Taehyung says, looking down.

"You don't have to feel that way. But still if you think like that then you can stay here with us and in return, you can help me at the pack hospital." Seokjin suggests. It does sound like a good idea to Taehyung because after all, he has to think about Soobin too and staying here would help him provide his son a decent life.

"But I don't know anything about medicine." Taehyung says worriedly. "It's never too late to learn. I'll teach you the basics and we mostly have to treat werewolves since it's the pack hospital. Werewolves have a good healing speed too." Seokjin says.

Taehyung finds himself nodding his head and agreeing to the idea. Maybe he can live a better life with his pup after all.
