Yes my writing style has probably changed dramatically and I probably forgot where I was going with the plot of this fic, but again, who cares?
The good thing about me being older: I have more experience in the lovey dovey things and more time to typey typey
Anyway, enjoy the update! If anyone is even still reading this!
If you are still reading this, PLEASE COMMENT! It means the world to me and it's my only drive to continue! Love you!

So they ended up picking some random movie and making out in the back. For the whole movie. The whole two and a half hour movie.
"I can't believe that old lady told us to 'stop sucking face' in front of everyone!" Nico moaned in embarrassment.
Percy grinned. "Well maybe if you quit moaning..."
Nico hit him on the shoulder. "Shut up! You're the one who was practically on top of me."
"Hot," the movie theater usher said as he held the door open for them to leave the cinema. He even winked at them.
"Oh my gods," Nico moaned again. He covered his hot cheeks with his hands.
"Alright, alright. Enough talk of our making out in the back of the movie theater, which we definitely will be doing again, by the way. What do you want for lunch?" Percy asked as he led them outside.
This particular New York street was mostly restaurants. It had everything from pizza places to genuine Chinese restaurants to hotdog stands to fancy New York diners.
"Pizza, if that's okay," Nico responded.
"Pizza? Really? If that's what you want," Percy said, continuing to a pizza place he knew had quality food.
"What's wrong with pizza?" Nico asked, his mouth turned up into an amused smirk.
"Oh, nothing..." Percy held the door open to a tiny pizzeria. "...if you like the basics, that is."
"Hmm, I guess that's why I'm dating you," Nico retorted.
"Ooh, you wound me," Percy said fake-mournfully, even going so far as to clutch his heart dramatically. Nico laughed. "Okay, enough joking around. Time to get to serious business."
Percy looked at the menu, debating on whether to go with a mushroom and pepperoni slice or a slice with pineapple.
"I know what I want, whenever your ready," Nico said, nudging Percy slightly.
"Yes, my dear, I'm ready too," Percy rolled his eyes goofily. He stepped up to the counter and greeting the old man who ran the store.
"Ah, Percy, nice to see you again," the old man said, with a genuine Italian accent. He even had a dark mustache that curled at the ends.
"Hello Tony," Percy smiled, ignoring the amused snort Nico gave from behind him. "We'll take two large slices, one pepperoni and mushroom, and..." Percy trailed off, letting Nico fill in his order.
"...And one plain cheese," Nico finished with a polite smile.
"That's it? Just cheese?" Percy turned to face his dark haired boyfriend. "You really do like the basics."
Nico nodded with a laugh. "Just a cheese, please."
"You are a cheese," Percy said, grinning, and turned back to Tony, who had already finished making their slices and was putting them in the oven for them.
"How much, Tony?" Percy asked, pulling out his wallet. He felt Nico's hand on his arm, probably about to tell him they'd split the bill. Percy wasn't about to let that happen.
But before either of them could say anything, Tony spoke up. "Oh, Percy, its on the house for you."
"But-"
"Even the blue dye." Tony gave the boys one last smile and turned to check on their slices.
Percy shook his head in exasperation and turned himself and Nico around to find a table. There were only three booths and two tables in the small shop, so Percy sat in the middle booth while Nico went to the bathroom.
"Is he your boyfriend?" Tony spoke up suddenly, and Percy smiled involuntarily at the word.
"Yep," Percy said. "My boyfriend. My beloved. My one and only. How could you tell?"
Tony laughed. "You're two peas in a pod. You belong together."
Percy's smile softened. "Thanks, Tony. That's nice to hear."
Nico came back to the table as the slices finished cooking, and Percy got up to get them. Tony disappeared to the back after the boy's had taken their first bite and seemed pleased.
"So, you two know each other well?" Nico asked, gesturing to the blue pizza in front of him.
Percy laughed. "Yeah," he said, "he knew my mom and I when she was still with Gabe. We used to come here when we needed some cheering up." He smiled slightly as a specific memory came over him.
"Get out of my house!" Gabe yelled at him, shoving him out the door and slamming it in his face.
Percy sighed, slumping against the wall across from his apartment door, sliding down until he was sitting. "It's not a house, it's an apartment," he muttered under his breath.
He heard some more shouting and then a second later his mom stepped out of their home, holding their coats. She gave her son a slightly stressed smile, and held out his coat for him.
Percy didn't move. "We need to get rid of him, Mom. He's the scum of the earth."
She shook his coat slightly. "C'mon. Get up. I'll take you to Tony's."
Percy sighed, but pushed himself up with his hands and took his coat. As he was pulling it on he said, "This doesn't mean I'm done talking about it."
"Hush. Fill your big mouth with some blue pizza," his mom responded with a smile, leading the way down the hallway towards the door.
Somehow, even with all the pizza that pig ate, Gabe never went to Tony's. Probably because Tony doesn't deliver, and Gabe's too lazy to go and pick up his pizza.
They arrived at Tony's after a short car ride and stepped inside. They were greeted by the warm smell of pizza cooking and smiled immediately wiped away any stress left in their expressions.
"Ah, Signora Jackson! And Percy, my boy! Welcome, you two, welcome!" Tony said as soon as they came in. He was serving another customer at the time, but he was all smiles for Percy and his mom.
Tony had their order memorized, so Percy found them a table while his mom got them some drinks.
Their pizza was done in about 15 minutes. They chatted about nonsense as they ate, Tony even coming to sit by them to join in on the conversation. Even after they'd finished eating, they stayed and talked for over an hour. Percy was able to forget about Gabe, and watch his mother smile and laugh instead.
"Perce?" Nico's voice jolted Percy out of his memory. He shook his head slightly. "I lost you for a minute there."
Percy chuckled. "Just remembering something."
"Something good, I hope?" Nico smiled softly.
"Mm, not as good as this moment," Percy said. Nico's cheeks reddened.
"Shut up. Now you're the cheese," Nico shook his head slightly, exasperated.
"Is it time to make out again, yet?" Percy grinned. Nico just threw his napkin at him.
The rest of their meal was relatively quiet, both of them enjoying their meal. Once they were done, Percy called Tony back out to the front to say a quick goodbye, and then they were strolling down the street.
"What's next?" Nico asked. He reached over and took Percy's hand in his own.
"Hmm, I have to plan everything, do I?" Percy joked.
"Well, you asked me out, so yeah," Nico laughed.
"Ha ha," Percy laughed sarcastically. "You're lucky you're worth-"
He was cut off by his cell phone ringing very loudly from his back pocket.
"Sorry," he cringed, looking at the screen. Annabeth's name lit up on the screen, her icon next to it. It was a picture of them from when they'd been dating, but not a particularly romantic one, just one of them standing and holding hands.
Nico's eyes caught the screen and the picture, and immediately his mood soured. He took a step back from Percy as he answered it.
"Annabeth, what is it? I'm sort of busy..." Percy trailed off, looking to Nico. The younger boy just frowned. They continued strolling down the streets of Manhattan.
"You need to come back to camp," Annabeth's voice came through the speakers. "Now."
"Dude, I'm sort of on a date, with my wonderful boyfriend-" Percy was cut off, but not before his comment that made Nico smile.
"I know, dude, but it's important. So get your ass to camp, now." Annabeth commanded.
"Why?" Percy whined. "We were having such a good time, and-"
"Percy, I'm serious. Get to camp."
"At least tell me why," Percy said stubbornly.
"You know, there was once a time when you trusted me above anyone else," Annabeth quipped. But then she sighed. "We found out who Cleo's parent is."
"...So? Who is it? Hermes? Aphrodite? Athena?" Percy asked. Nico looked at him somewhat amusedly.
"Perce... it's Poseidon. Her symbol was a trident," Annabeth said quietly.
Percy froze. Nico looked back at him in question, but Percy was already hanging up and grabbing Nico's arm.
"We need to go back to camp," Percy said quickly.
"O-Okay. Did something happen?" Nico asked. He took both Percy's hands in his own, and tugged him into an alley between two buildings. Now they were out of sight, ready to shadow travel.
Percy opened his mouth to tell him, but he couldn't get the words out. He shook his head and gestured to their interlocked hands.
Nico nodded once and, before long, the shadows around them were bending and reforming to the camp grounds. Nico had them arrive right by the big house, somehow knowing something big was going to happen.
Annabeth was waiting on the porch, hands anxiously clutching the railing. Percy nodded to her in greeting before she spoke.
"She's inside," Annabeth said to them. She walked towards the door and held it open, waiting for them to follow.
Percy didn't move, though. He was standing right before the steps of the big house, but he couldn't bring himself to climb them.
"Percy?" Nico asked. He gently reached out to grab the older boy's hand. "Do you want me to come in with you?"
"Yes," Percy said immediately. "Always. I always want you with me."
Nico's heart swelled and squeezed his boyfriend's hand once.
The two of them climbed the stairs of the big house together and following Annabeth inside.
