"What do you want?"

I pushed his door open so I could walk into his room,the atmosphere was so different here.Candles are so small,but they can make a huge difference to your eyesight.The room looked dim as you couldn't see the ceiling and the corners of the room.The books he held in the bookshelfs gave it all more of a professional per say look.I could stay here forever,just reading the books I read twice already.

He released a sigh as his eyes left my gaze,"Y/N,why did you come back?"

I leaned on a pale wall behind me,staring at the floor.Words failed me.

"I keep my promises Zane,you know that.I-I'm sorry if I am bothering you,"I apologised as my cheeks felt heated for a second.

I smiled to myself as my heart swelled up,only because he was here.Him being here was enough to bring my love to life,to give it hope once more.We stayed in silence that felt like ages to my sanity,but I didn't mind.The words we speak have a bigger chance to hurt us than make us happy.

"It doesn't bother me,I just can't believe you're right here."he spoke,"I can't believe you're right here,in front of me."

I'll put this in simple words.I want to hug him.I want to hold him.

"Zane,can we talk?About everything,"I asked as I took a step closer to him.

He gave me a small nod as I spread my arms,waiting for him to come into my warm embrace.

"What are you doing?"he asked in worry.

I came to him without a reply as I wrapped my arms around his well built body,never wishing to let him go.After a few seconds of a one person hug,he returned the gesture,making this hug officially the first step.

"I missed you,so much."I cried as he ran his hand through my H/C hair,his gesture gentle and calm.

"You kept your promise,that's all I care about."he whispered as I lifted my head and looked into his eye(s),I placed my lips onto his cheek for a split second,then I returned to the hug.

I wish I could tell him I love him,but my courage is drained.

After a few minutes I felt him slipping away from my strong embrace,he held my chin and leaned in,but before anything else had it's chance to happen.My eyes were locked as I only saw darkness.
