"Look who finally came back,"Irene spoke after she noticed me getting off H/N.

I managed to ignore her as I took my things off my horse, tossing them on the ground, only gently placing my bag with potions on the ground.

"Where were you?" she asked with a soft voice, sounding like the actual Irene I knew and not who she is now.

"I was visiting a friend,"I replied, not knowing myself if I thought of Ro'Meave as a friend or enemy now.

"I don't find that statement to be true," she said, glancing at my potions.

As I threw my bag over my shoulder I took a step closer to her, focusing on keeping my powers inside for now."You asked me, and I replied. We never said we had to be honest,"

Walking inside I closed my eyes for a second, taking a deep breath I went back into the shadows as silence took over everything. The kingdom was empty for once, giving me peace of mind. But not for that long, something always decides to happen when I find time for myself.

"Riya Y/N, Reya Shad hatra jessa nalav ora'ma veffe Makaya!(Queen Y/N, King Shad is here looking for you with Sir Makaya!" a servant exclaimed as I massaged my temples to get a few nerves working.

"Desto karra la. (Let them in.)"I spoke, sitting back on the throne.

The servant ran off as I put my leg over the other, waiting patiently to see the face of my dear brother and his snarky partner, Makaya. After I leaned on the back of the leather throne they walked in, no expression caressing their facial expressions, but their eyes spoke differently.

"Shad, I thought we were done with each other."I decided to speak, breaking the silence I can only hope to have for a solid second.

Shad smirked as he walked to the throne, holding my chin so I would look into his dull eyes."You made that decision, but I haven't agreed on that.I want my place on the throne back, instantly."

As he demanded me to obey him I did otherwise and put my palm slightly in the air, a silver-coated spark moving him away from me a few feet back, a crimson red fire trailing after him.

"Looks like she beat you to the power, Shad."Makaya spoke in his signature raspy voice, his voice becoming filtered with despair and what I could tell for a short second, fear.

"No, she couldn't have!" he yelled as he tried to stand up, but the crimson-silvery fire weakened him badly, he was unable to move almost fully."I was the ruler, she wasn't!"

"Ah, but she curved the rules of how it was prescripted, she played by her OWN rules.Which you just couldn't understand, am I right?" he spoke to him truthfully, taking my side for once, but I didn't give in that easily.

Putting my palm in the air once more the fire surrounded Makaya, putting him in grave pain as I looked at Shad, who was managing to stand up with shaking legs.

"Y/N, stop this now!" he ordered once more, and as always, I didn't follow his orders.

"Stop?Oh brother, you make me laugh. Why should I stop doing and taking what's rightfully mine?"I spoke as Shad's dull eyes stared at me, speechless and emotionless.

Putting my palm down the fire trailed back to me, giving me warmth for a few seconds until it was gone."Get lost, and never come back!"

Shad curved his lips into a smirk as he shook his head slowly in a negative matter, his eyes still piercing as always."You know that this isn't over,"

Nodding they vanished, and after I gave out Rue walked out reaching for air as much as I was."That was too much magic, Mistress. At least for now,"

As I nodded my vison didn't work with me very well, I couldn't see the throne or Rue for that matter, just a lot of colors mixed together.

[End of Chapter 16]

In the next chapter there will be some history of Rue and Makaya
