I bet you guys are mad at me for not updating. I'm sorry. I was updating my Karma x Reader and totally forgot this book even existed. I'm such a bad person. I forgot about my own book! That's like abandoning your child at the grocery store! Well, I hope you can forgive me. Once again, I'm sorry :(

Previously

"(Y/n) and Nagisa."

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I nod my head Nagisa guides me to a good spot to start at.

We both get into position. I pull my arm back, ready to hit Nagisa at the first sign of movement. Karasuma-Sensei blows his whistle and I can hear the other groups running at each other. I scrutinize Nagisa, but he's not budging at all; except for the occasional rise and fall of his chest, showing that he, indeed, is still alive and capable of moving.

After a minute of staring at each other intensely, waiting for the other to make a move, he lets his hand fall to his side. His determined features relaxed and a big grin took over his face. I gave him a confused look, but he just started approaching me, his hand swaying with every step he took.

I was frozen, I couldn't move. His smile, his pigtails, his perfection. I was confused, unsure of why I was having these thought, of why I couldn't get my body to move. It was like he was hypnotizing me, acting like a snake about to catch its prey.

I shook in fear. Wait. Why am I scared? Was it his smile? Was it how I could somehow tell it was fake; A slightly distorted version of his usual friendly attitude? I wasn't sure. I couldn't think straight. He was only a few feet in front of me now. I had to move. And fast.

He swung at me, but I just barely dodged. His senses were keen and his aim was on point. He could possibly be one of the greatest assassins known to mankind.

He looked a little shocked when I ducked the blow from the harmless weapon, but continued to stay focused. I jumped behind him and angled my blade towards his back, but he turned around quickly and grabbed my wrist.

And about three seconds after that, he'd hit me with his knife. Right in the stomach. At least he did it softly.

After that, he released my arm and smile a genuine smile. "That was fun, (y/n)! We should do it again sometime."

I stood there dumbfounded. Fun? He found that fun? I only did it because I had to. If they'd given me a choice, I would've just sat by a tree and watched the other kids do it.

Nagisa started walking back towards the classroom and I followed on his heels.

"So, who won?"

"Is (y/n) good at fighting?"

"Did you get to see his abs?"

The kids clouded Nagisa is questions. I kind of felt bad for him; also kind of not. I mean he did win. The least he could do was answer a few of the class's questions.

I looked over my shoulder and noticed Karma leaning against a tree, staring off into space. 'Heh. I don't blame him. Daydreaming's fun.', I thought, walking over to him. "Hey Karma." I waved.

"(Y-y/n)." He stuttered. 'Heh. This is gonna be perfect blackmail material later.' I know what you're thinking. What happened? I thought she was supposed to be an Ikeman? Well, I have an answer for that. I never really wanted to be an Ikeman. It was just an act; a performance to keep my secret safe. So encourage everyone that I was actually a boy. Not just a girl in disguise. But in E class, I feel like I can depart from my mask and be myself. They're basically my home away from home.

"Heh. Karma? Are you blushing?" I teased.

"W-what? N-no?" He stammered, his face turning a darker shade of red.

"O-ok" I smirked, making fun of his stutter.

He shot me an annoyed glare and faced the opposite direction.

"Hey." Nagisa said walking over to join us.

"Hey." I responded.

"What's wrong with Karma?"

"Nothing!" Karma quickly responded.

"He's just upset over some little thing. I don't know why though. I guess he's just a big baby." I teased.

"O-okay." Nagisa said. "Well, see you in class. The bell's about to ring anyway."

And with that, he left Karma and I alone. I sighed. "Let's just forget about everything that happened today, okay?" He nodded.

The bell was barely audible from where we were standing, but we could still hear it. "Whelp, we better get back to class." I started making my Way towards the run down building and Karma followed.

I really hope he doesn't tell.

A/N

Is 800 words good enough for you guys?

It's 10:00 over here and I still have home work so....

This is all I could do for today.

I'm really sorry for not updating.

It will still probably take me a while to update again, but I will try.

I'm one of those people that starts lots of things at the same time and tries to do everything at once.

That show my stories are.

I get a good ideas and write it.

Then don't come back until the next year.

So, just bear with me on this. I will get these stories done eventually.

Also, thank you to everyone reading this story!

It means so much to me!
