Y/N and Scorpius arrived at Malfoy Manor. Draco stood in front of the door with a worried expression on his face.

"Y/N, Scorpius. What happened?" Draco asked as he took Scorpius from Y/N's arms. He looked at his son who had tears stained on his cheeks.

"The house," Y/N spoke quietly. "It's gone...all of Scorpius' pictures are gone, everything is destroyed." Y/N cried softly. Draco wrapped an arm around her and held her close towards him.

"Shh, you and Scorpius stay here while I check out the house." Draco handed Scorpius to Y/N and apparated to Y/N's home, he saw that the fire was put out and authorities were talking with each other.

"Sir, you can't go behind this line." An authority said. Draco looked at him and saw people removing things from the house.

"My girlfriend lived here, I wanted to see if anything was saved?" Draco told him. "Was this an accident?"

"No." The man shooked his head. "We found a gallon of gasoline beside the building. We need to talk with your girlfriend and tell us what happened." Draco nodded and took in this information.

"I'll tell her that you want to talk with her," Draco said. "She is still shaken up from this fire."

"I understand. Since you are her boyfriend, we will allow you access to take things that we managed to save from the fire." Draco nodded and the man led him to the things that were saved. He hoped one of the things that were saved was Scorpius' baby pictures. He rummaged through the pile of things until he found a book. Scorpius' baby photo album. He picked it up and looked at the cover. It was somewhat burned but nothing too serious. He flipped through the album to see most of the photos were not burned and he smiled to himself.

"Sir, may I ask you where were you when the fire started?" The man asked as he held a notepad and a pen. Draco turned around and nodded.

"I was at home. My girlfriend and my son were planning on moving in with me tomorrow and were packing their things when the fire started." Draco explained. The man nodded and wrote in his notepad.

"You have a son?" Draco nodded. "May I ask how old is he?"

"He's four years old," Draco replied. The man nodded and wrote it down.

"Do you know someone who would set this place on fire?" The man asked. Draco began to think, no one hated Draco nor Y/N. The death eaters were captured. He shooked his head.

"Alright, that's all." The man walked away. Draco noticed a piece of paper near the pile of scattered things. He read it;

This is just the beginning.

Draco was confused. A pit in his stomach began to form as millions of thoughts began to form in his mind. Were they trying to hurt Y/N? Or Scorpius? He couldn't let that happen, they both mean everything to him. Draco folded the piece of paper and placed it in his pocket. The same man walked up to him.

"We will find out who did this. You can leave." Draco nodded and grabbed the things that were saved from the fire and headed back to the Manor. He walked in seeing Y/N sitting on the couch. He walked up to her and sat next to her.

"This was saved from the fire." Draco gave Y/N the baby album. She gasped.

"How?" She asked as she looked at the photos, none of them were damaged.

"Don't know but the fire wasn't an accident. The authorities found a gallon of gasoline near the home." Draco explained. He took the piece of paper out of his pocket. "The person who caused this wrote a note saying this is just the beginning."

"Draco, who do you think it might be?" Y/N asked.

"Well, I know all of the death eaters are in a high maximum Azkaban," Draco stated, looking at her.

"What if it's Liz? I mean you end things with her just to be with me." Y/N reasoned. "Do you think it's her that did this?"

"I'll tell the authorities about this, oh! They also want to talk with you when you have a chance." Draco said. Y/N nodded and let out a yawn.

"I'm tired and a bit shaken by what happened, let's go to bed." Draco nodded and the two—headed off to bed. Y/N got under the covers and looked to see Draco taking off his shirt. She couldn't help but to check him out.

"Get used to it. I always sleep without a shirt on." The blond smirked. Y/N blushed and looked away. Draco got under the covers and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. He missed this.

He missed being with her like this, he wanted to make up all the lost time he wasn't there for Y/N or Scorpius. He kissed her forehead.

"I love you Y/N." He murmured.

"I love you too Draco," Y/N replied as sleep overtook her body,

...

Y/N woke up to find Draco still sound asleep. His arms loosened around her, she got out of bed and exited the room as she left the bedroom she saw Scorpius leaving his room.

"Good morning mommy." The four-year-old smiled.

"Good morning Scorp, want to help me make breakfast?" Scorpius nodded eagerly. Y/N picked up her son and walked to the kitchen. She placed Scorpius on the counter as she grabbed the ingredients, Scorpius watched as his mother poured the pancake batter.

"Where's daddy?" Scorpius asked as he placed the chocolate chips on top of the pancakes. Y/N placed the spatula to the side and looked at her son.

"Daddy's still asleep. But I'm making pancakes for breakfast, so how about you go wake him up." Y/N told him with a laugh. She placed Scorpius on the floor and watched him run into the room Draco and Y/N share, laughing as she heard the 'Oompf' Draco let out. She shooked her head and continued with her cooking.

She placed three plates on the table and placed the pancakes on the plates. She looked up when she heard laughter echoing the house. Draco carried Scorpius on his back, Draco crouched low enough for Scorpius to hop off.

"You told him to wake me up," Draco said as he crossed his arms. Y/N chuckled and shrugged.

"I did tell him to wake you up," Y/N said. "Now let's eat."

The three of them sat down and ate their breakfast. Scorpius talked about the dream he had last night. The two parents listened to their child. They felt like a family, Draco took Y/N and Scorpius to the beach. Scorpius was building a sandcastle while Draco and Y/N relaxed under the umbrella.

Scorpius soon got bored of building sandcastles and decided to bury his parents. Draco opened his eyes and stared at his son and successfully managed to escape.

"You better run Scorpius. I'm gonna get you!" Scorpius' eyes widen as he began to run away from his father. Draco chased after him, catching him easily, scooping the giggling, screaming, and wiggling Scorpius. Draco carried the four-year-old to the ocean and dropped him into the water. Scorpius let out a scream as he fell into the water. He rose back up and swam to the shore and ran to his mother.

"Mommy, help me!" Scorpius pleaded as he hid behind her. Y/N laughed, she saw looked to see Draco coming towards them. He placed a finger up to his lip, Y/N picked up her son and looked at him.

"Of course I'll help." Scorpius smiled but his smile soon faded as Draco held Scorpius in his arms.

"Caught you." Draco smiled at his son as Scorpius laughed at his father. They spend the whole day at the bench then they went home. Draco tucked Scorpius into bed and walked into the bedroom. Y/N was laying on the bed, reading a book. She looked up to see Draco.

"He's asleep?" Draco nodded and sat on the edge of the bed. He noticed something was bothering her.

"What's wrong?" He questioned as he placed his hand on her thigh. She let out a sigh and closed her book, placed it on the nightstand.

"I'm still a bit uneasy after you showed me that piece of paper. I don't want any drama. I remembered when Scorpius was born, the daily prophet was making such scandalize stories about Scorpius that I had to leave the wizarding world for a while." Y/N explained. "After I gave birth to Scorpius, many people were judging me of how I raised Scorpius, how I should still follow that tradition of hating on muggle-borns. I didn't want Scorpius to believe that muggle-borns are disgusting so I moved to the muggle world and taught Scorpius that the wizarding world and muggle world are no different."

"You are an excellent mother. You raised our son into a little gentleman." Draco smiled. Y/N gently removed his hand off her thigh and reached for Scorpius' photo album.

"This means a lot to me. I documented Scorpius' life, I wanted to remember everything Scorpius did." Y/N handed the book to Draco. "You can look through it if you want?"

Draco nodded and flipped through the pages, admiring the pictures of Scorpius. His favorite photo was when Scorpius was born. In the photo, Y/N held a newborn Scorpius and she had tears rolling down her face. Draco flipped through more pages as he looked on, Scorpius grew from a newborn baby to a four-year-old.

"Draco?" Draco looked up from the book and looked at Y/N.

"Yeah?" He asked as he set the book aside.

"When I found out that you are still alive, who wrote the letter?" Y/N asked. Draco smiled and moved a little closer to Y/N.

"My mother, she knew about Scorpius' existence but was too scared of meeting him. When I told her about him she burst into tears and after all the ex-death eaters were captured she wrote that letter to you." Draco explained.

"She can meet Scorpius tomorrow," Y/N suggested. Draco nodded.

"I'll write a letter to her tomorrow, but right now let's go to bed. It's getting late." Draco said as he got under the covers. Y/N nodded and the two of them fell asleep.
