Chapter Title: Going on a trip

"Love, Joy Kim's schedule for the week is packed. I can't push them through just because you said so, I've done a lot of favors from you and your brother. So please no more."Bo Gum complained as Irene randomly barged into his office demanding to give Joy a week off.

"Oh come on babe, it's just one week it's not like your company would go down hill when one of your models get a week off. Besides she needs it, I already told you what happened last night."Irene spoke.

"I know but Joy didn't personally told me anything. She must be fine."Bo Gum trailed off snapping a nerve from Irene.

"She's fine?! Have you seen her face after what happened?!"Irene was now hyped up after hearing those words from her boyfriend. "I never thought you were this inconsiderate! Have you been hiding this bad side of yours? Coz I don't remember liking a guy who doesn't care about other's situation."Irene added making Bo Gum alarmed from her words.

"Hey come on love, let's not fight over this. Our relationship doesn't get tangled with Joy's work."Bo Gum tried to explain.

"Oh yes it does. Joy is my future sister-in-law and yours as well IF this relationship continues. And as a good sister-in-law I am very concerned with her well being so be a good boyfriend and future brother-in-law. Let her have this week off!"Irene ordered making Bo Gum no choice but to give in.

"God you're so lucky I so damn love you."Bo Gum mumbled making Irene grin in satisfaction.

"I love you too, minus the curse word though."Irene cheekily said as she leaned in to Bo Gum's table and gave him a peck on the lips.

"Ugh, you and your cute antics. I hope this would be the last time you siblings stop meddling with Joy's schedule. You two very well know how in demand she is."Bo Gum spoke.

"That's easy, give Hani some work so that Joy can rest besides what are the other models doing? It's not like Joy's the only one who's working as a model."Irene trailed off making Bo Gum face palm with his girlfriend's nagging.

"Your cousin has a week schedule and it's packed. So if you don't have anymore requests, can I go back to work now? It's not like because I'm a CEO I can just slack off all day."Bo Gum said which made Irene smirk.

"Skip work today too. Let's go on a date, I have a surprise for you later."she said while giving him a wink.

"If it involves seeing you in a very alluring outfit. Don't mind if I do."Bo Gum said as he slowly untied his neck tie and stood up from his seat.

"Don't worry, me and Hani went shopping for new underwear to use and a assure you that I picked a very great pair for you to see."Irene seductively said as the both of them left the building and went off.

"What?!! You guys are going on a trip without me?!" Yeri exclaimed through the video call Joy was having.

"Calm down you egghead, and yes. You can't come since you're busy with school, besides it's not like I booked a whole island for this we were all merely guests who got tagged along."Joy told her.

"Even so, I want to come with you. Besides it sounds like fun, I'll die out of envy knowing you guys would be relaxing on a private island somewhere on Earth."Yeri complained.

"And I PERSONALLY need that relaxation. The past few months and days have been creepy and weird all together."Joy exclaimed.

"Oh yeah I heard about what happened with you, I wanted to visit you bu-"Yeri was cut off when a loud yell coming from someone was heard. "Oops, call you later unnie. Mom's calling me."she immediately said as Joy just nodded in agreement.

"Okay bye."Joy exclaimed as the call ended.

It was already approved that Joy was having a week break. It's funny to know that it's either Sungjae or his sister would be the one to convince her boss, and it's been really hard to ask some break with her company randomly. Thought Joy is uncomfortable with people meddling with her personal life but she's also thankful that she could rest for a few days.

Tomorrow was scheduled for Joy to tag along with Sungjae and his friends. Seulgi and Wendy were also invited, Minhyuk was forced to come as well since he had a lot of explaining to do.

Joy already packed a 4 days and 3 nights amount of clothes for their trip. Irene made sure that Joy should bring with her a bikini for beach wear, Joy was flustered but had no choice but to bring it. Seulgi and Wendy are having a sleep over at Joy's place since the three of them would be riding with Sungjae and Changsub on the way to the private island Irene's friend Jennie owns.

"Joyiah, which would look good on me? This Yellow bikini or this orange one?"Seulgi was trying to ask for help in picking which bikini she should be bringing.

"Anything is fine. Why are you so worked up about this trip, it's a relaxation time away from stress and away from that creepy witch."Joy muttered as the three of them were already lying on the living room floor. Since the three of them wouldn't fit in her bedroom they managed to brought out the mattress and a lot of pillows out so that it would fit them all.

"Oh by the way, Wendy have you asked about your boyfriend with regards about the creepy curse thing?"Seulgi asked.

"Nah, I haven't talked to him after what happened. The secret he kept from me was too crucial to think that I'm involved and specially Joy."Wendy stated completely not into the topic yet. Joy managed to notice her discomfort so she diverted the topic.

"Unnie, the yellow orange bikini would look better on you. You should pick that one."Joy stated making Seulgi's attention fall back to her bikinis.

"Really? Then I'll bring this, and I'll pack the yellow in case of emergency."she stated as she gingerly packed it inside her small luggage.

Aigoo, this girl only cares about the beach. But what I'm worrying about is that freaking curse, after finally being convinced that it was legit. I'm terrified on what would happen to me next, the Han River incident was already way intense.

Joy's thoughts were interrupted when Wendy suddenly spoke up.

"Who would that witch be?"Wendy mumbled making Joy feel goosebumps.

Should I tell her? But I'm not sure besides it couldn't be and the voices were changing. I must have been mistaken.

Joy thought.

"Let's get some sleep unnie, let's talk about it tomorrow after we hear the whole story about this hell of a curse."Joy said as Wendy nodded, upon hearing those words. Seulgi managed to finish up in packing as he quickly turned off the lights as the three of them drifted to sleep.

The next morning Seulgi was so excited that she woke up at 4am. The call time for the trip was 7am, Joy and Wendy was awfully pissed upon waking up early.

"Gosh woman! Do you know how to freaking set an alarm at 6am?! It's too early dammit!"Wendy snapped as she covered herself with the blanket.

"Having you sleep over was the biggest mistake I have ever done."Joy trailed off as she slowly got out of bed and made some coffee. Meanwhile Seulgi was unaffected with her friend's complains and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower.

Moments later, exactly 5am. Joy just finished making some pancakes for breakfast while Wendy was already at the dining table still fighting over her sleep. Seulgi was already fresh from the shower and is now wearing a simple floral dress which was white in color with orange printed flowers. Her hair was still wrapped with a towel.

"You guys have some breakfast, I'll just go have a shower."Joy said as she went inside.

Exactly 6:30am. Changsub already knocked on Joy's door which was opened by Seulgi. Changsub was wearing a plain blue polo shirt and a light brown shorts, behind him stood Sungjae wearing a blue and white striped polo which the two upper buttons were opened slightly revealing his chest and he paired it with a plain blue shorts.

"Are you girls ready?"Changsub managed to ask as they both entered the place.

"Yeah, Wendy just went to the toilet again and Joy is getting her things."Seulgi answered. The bathroom door opened revealing Wendy wearing a white shirt topped with a black blazer and she matched it with a black denim shorts.

"I'm ready, uhm Changsub-oppa can you help me with my bags?"Wendy exclaimed while pointing towards a small traveling bag.

"Oh sure, that's why we're here."Changsub cheekily said as he reached for Wendy's things.

"Oh help me with my things too Sungjae-ssi."Seulgi trailed off making Wendy elbow her.

"Just drag your luggage, it's not that hard. Besides Sungjae can help with Joy's things, hers is much more important than yours."Wendy exclaimed making Seulgi pout.

"Gosh you are so savage."Seulgi mumbled as she drag her luggage outside the place. Wendy just nodded to Sungjae indicating that they'll go ahead to the parking lot. He just nodded in agreement and waited for Joy.

Moments later, her bedroom door opened and revealed a gorgeous looking Joy. She was wearing a red and white crop top and white denim skirt, her hair was made into a cute twin pigtails.

"Oh Sungjae-ssi."Joy exclaimed upon noticing him. "Sorry to keep you waiting, Yeri just called so I had to get it. Did they went ahead?"Joy managed to add, though the both of them are still awkward because of the misunderstandings they had, plus the fact that the curse was actually true made Joy guilty but the main reason why the two of them are still awkward is about the boyfriend thing.

Sungjae was practically staring at Joy's outfit, he had a really uncomfortable expression.

"Do you have any other clothes to wear?"He asked randomly making Joy taken aback.

"Pardon?"Joy asked confused.

I asked if the others went ahead and he answers me with a weird question? Is this guy alright?

Joy thought.

"I know you are a model and you are beautiful but do you really need to wear that outfit?"Sungjae kept rambling making Joy flustered with his random compliment.

What the hell is wrong with this guy?

Joy couldn't stop thinking about things.

"We're going to an island, what do you expect me to dress up? With a jacket and sweatpants?"Joy exclaimed completely uncomfortable with Sungjae's change of gestures, he normally wasn't the type of guy who meddles with her outfit. It was the first time.

"I know it's just that... ugh."Sungjae said as he opened the backpack he was carrying and pulled out a plain white polo. "Just put this on, I don't want to let people see your belly button. You're already pretty and the whole Korea knows that, so no need to remind them."Sungjae said as he walked up to her and put the shirt on her. Joy was surprised and the same time flustered again with his sudden boldness.

When has he ever been this controlling? And why the hell am I finding him cute while meddling with my fashion sense?

Joy practically scolded herself as Sungjae successfully covered her up. Though the shirt completely ruined her fashion as an iconic model, Joy pulled it off as she slightly tied the ends of the shirt into a small knot which made Sungjae's brows furrow.

"Don't even start complaining. You already ruined my fashion style so bare with me, I completely covered my belly button so spare me with your scoldings."Joy exclaimed. Sungjae managed to form a smile.

"Nah, you look good with my shirt anyway so it's fine."he complimented her again, then Sungjae swiftly caught her traveling bag as well as the small basket full of fruits in his hands leaving Joy with only her purse and beach hat. "Let's go."Sungjae added as he naturally grab a hold of Joy's left hand with his free hand intertwining them.

"Uhm.. what the heck are you doing?"Joy managed to spat out trying to sound annoyed while in reality she was about to stutter those words.

"What? I'm your boyfriend remember. This is normal."Sungjae trailed off while dragging her towards the parking lot completely making Joy flushed red, at it was freaking obvious since she wasn't wearing any blush on in the first place.

The both of them arrived at the parking lot still holding hands as Seulgi was already seated at the passenger seat while Wendy and Changsub were leaning against the car. Wendy smirked upon noticing their hands intertwined at the same time the sudden change of attire Joy was wearing.

"Finally! I thought you two were still busy making out or something."She trailed making Joy alert as she literally jolted towards her and hit her on the shoulders. "Yah! Why did you hit me?!"She complained.

"You need to wash your mouth, it's uttering dirty words and why would you think we'll be making out. Jeez."Joy said as Sungjae just ignored the two ladies bickering and just focus on settling the luggages inside the compartment.

"Can't blame me, you two are dating so it's normal."Wendy said while shrugging off.

"We are not dating."Joy quickly corrected.

"Well that's not what the Korean population knows. Oh just get inside the car Joy, you're too loud and the others are waiting."Wendy managed to change the subject before Joy could replied back.

Joy was seated in between Sungjae and Wendy at the passenger seat. The whole ride was not as peaceful as Joy expected knowing that Seulgi was at the passenger seat it was to expect that she would be in charge of the song selection, and yes she was singing with it too. Seulgi was scolded by Wendy and Joy ample of times but as hard headed as she is, the two decided to give up and let her be. Moments later, Changsub joined in with Seulgi's fun time which made Sungjae faced palmed.

This trip is going to be so long I don't know if I can handle it.

Sungjae thought.

Arriving at their destination, everyone was already there waiting for the five of them. Irene was with Hani and Bo Gum, meanwhile the BTOB boys were also there minus their girl friend of course. Junghwa couldn't make it since she had exams, while Hyuna had to be at the Library while Bomi wasn't feeling it. Hyunsik was about to explain on why his girlfriend wasn't there but stopped midway when he remembered that he never introduced her yet.

Irene and Hani completely smirked upon seeing Joy got off the car wearing Sungjae's shirt. Though it looked awkward matched with her white denim skirt, if someone actually takes a picture of Joy's outfit today they'll mistook her for walking on a runway. She just looks breathtakingly beautiful in whatever she wears. Irene was about to approach her and give her a hug when she noticed the natural caring side of her brother.

Their was something stuck on Joy's face as Sungjae swiftly stopped her from moving and carefully took it out from her face. He mumbled something which made Joy's face turned pink.

Aigoo, they are slowly progressing!

Irene thought but was interrupted when Hani ran towards her and gave her a bear hug.

"Waaaaah! It's good to see you okay Joy! Gosh! I am sorry I wasn't there when it happened I had a sudden meeting with someone. I'm really sorry."Hani exclaimed still hugging her or more likely crushing her. Sungjae quickly pulled Joy off her which made Joy landed on his chest which again made her face heat up.

I should really need to get myself checked out, my face randomly gets warm. I must be suffering from an illness or something. This isn't good.

Joy thought.

"If you are sorry that you weren't there when she almost died, don't kill her yourself. Jeez noona."Sungjae scolded his cousin as Hani just pout in apology.

"Mianhe Joyiah, I got carried away. And why are you protective all of a sudden? Did you roll out off the wrong side of the bed or something?"Hani exclaimed.

"It's okay unnie."Joy quickly replied so that the two cousins would stop getting in each others throats. Then they suddenly heard someone coughing from the background.

"As much as I want to witness my brother being all boyfriend goals in front of Joy-ssi, but Jennie's yachts are already here. So we should like go right now before someone sees us and tip the paparazzi, it wouldn't be good."Irene spoke which lead no choice as Sungjae then started carrying his and Joy's things unto the yacht.

Seulgi was struggling in carrying her luggage, good thing Hyunsik was a gentleman and carried it for her. Leaving Minhyuk and Wendy arguing on her travelling bag.

"Let go you bastard. I can carry it myself."Wendy snapped.

"No, I'm not a bastard. And I know you can carry it but I want to it since I'm your boyfriend."Minhyuk answered back.

"I don't care. Let go before I kick your price possession."Wendy warned which quickly made Minhyuk let go of her bag. That's how savage Wendy can be, all her threats are true wether it sounds impossible it can be possible.

"Gosh you are so stubborn."Minhyuk mumbled but was still heard by her.

"Gosh you are so stupid."Wendy said trying to make Minhyuk hear.

Seulgi on the other side who was now sitting comfortably in the yacht sighed in disbelief after witnessing the short bickering of the two weird couple Wendy and Minhyuk.

This two are so weird, they fight like all the time but they never actually broken up even once. Jeeez.

Seulgi thought.

The whole ride to the island was short and amazing, the view was breathtaking. It was a shame that only a few people can visit here but it was a good thing as well. At least there are still beautiful islands that are being kept private in preservation of mother nature.

The island had a big penthouse owned by Jennie Kim a friend of Irene's. But all of them were invited to stay at the Guest Room Building. Yep! A guest room building its more like a hotel, it has about 10 rooms, so all of them should share. Since there are 13 of them, one room would be occupied by Irene and Bo Gum which leaves 9 rooms available and 11 more people. Even though Wendy and Minhyuk are not in good terms they still decided to occupy one room together. So it was 8 rooms left and 9 people.

Joy was about to say that Seulgi and her would share one room even though she hated sharing with her but unfortunately Seulgi beat her to it.

"So the couple's decided to share rooms so it's settled. All of us are having our own rooms."she declared as she handed each of them a card key leaving Joy confused since she didn't receive any and Seulgi already went on her way.

"Yah! Where would I be staying?"Joy asked which made everyone stop on their tracks. Sungjae was standing behind her. Seulgi managed to glance back.

"Where else? With Sungjae of course."Seulgi answered which made Joy's eyes widen.

I'm back! Sorry for the long wait, I've been really busy and I suffered from writer's block since I was more focused on my training. And I apologize for that, but rest assured while I was on hiatus I managed to write down some updates. I'll be updating from now on. Thank you guys for waiting! And in return I'll be trying my hardest to satisfy you with more upcoming stories, and I can assure you they are different from my completed and on-going stories! So stay tuned!
