Match day 33 returns this weekend with an early kick-off (Norwich vs Brighton). The next few gameweeks could determine where you finish overall and most importantly, in your mini-league! Last GW Manchester City gave Liverpool a gaurd of honour and then went on to smack them 4-0. This result has restored most of us managers faith in City and they along with Manchester United have a good fixture run.

2 things that are really really important for the next 6 gameweeks are a) in-form players and b) fixture difficulty. It's the easiest way to score points! With that being said let's look into the one's to watch for GW 33!

1.AFC Bournemouth
Vs Manchester United (A)
-

2.Arsenal
F. Aubameyang (11.0)
Vs Wolves (A)
Arsenal’s only hope this week could be their star forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese forward scored twice and bagged an assist vs Norwich last GW. Wolves have been resilient in defence since the commencement of the Premier League having kept three clean sheets. So yeah, Auba will have to step up if Arsenal want to get into a European spot.

3.Aston Villa
Vs Liverpool (A)
-

4.Brighton And Hove Albion
F. Maupay (5.7)
Vs Norwich City (A)
Norwich have conceded 8 goals in their last three games. Neal Maupay could be a differential this week as the French forward played a small role in the game against Manchester United. Graham Potter had his focus on this game and Maupay could play a significant role in helping the Seagulls claim all three points.

5.Burnley
GK. Pope (5.0)
Vs Sheffield United (H)
Nothing much that I’d want to say here. This game feels like 0-0 draw to me which means a clean sheet for Nick Pope. Pope leads the race for the Golden Glove with 13 clean sheets and has a steady and disciplined defensive line ahead of him.

6.Chelsea
M. Willian (7.1), M. Pulisic (7.1)
Vs Watford (H)
Watford have claimed only one point in their last three games and have conceded in each game. Willian and Pulisic have been in form and have a similar price tag. Willian has been assigned to take penalties and free kicks for the Blues while Pulisic is fierier and gets into the box quite often. The American has 7 points in each of his last starts. Chelsea will want to take the three points at any cost due to pressure from Manchester United and Wolves for a Champions League spot.

7.Crystal Palace
Vs Leicester City (A)
-

8.Everton
M. Richarlison (8.2)
Vs Spurs (A)
Carlo Ancelotti has done a fantastic job since the Premier League resumed. Everton have claimed 7 points of a possible 9, beating Leicester, Norwich and drawing against Liverpool. Many teams seem to be strong going forward but are stacked like a wobbly jenga tower and Spurs is one of them. Mourinho still hasn’t found his best defensive players and it’s costing him points. Richiarlison scored vs Leicester last week where he gave the Toffees an early lead. The Brazilian is having a decent season with 11 goals and 3 assists and could be the X factor for the Merseyside outfit.
(Update: At the time of editing I found out that the Brazilian could be a doubt due to an ankle injury.)

9.Leicester City
GK. Schmeichel (5.4), D. Soyuncu (4.9)
Vs Crystal Palace (H)
The Foxes haven’t been that great in the past few gameweeks and have been gradually dropping points. I do expect them to keep a clean sheet today though with Soyuncu possibly one of the few bargain players going into this GW. Schmeichel is just another alternative goalkeeper out of the handful I’ve picked for today. Palace haven’t scored in their last 2 fixtures losing losing 4-0 and 1-0 to Liverpool and Burnley respectively.

10.Liverpool
D. Alexander-Arnold (7.8), M. Salah (12.6), M. Mane (12.2)
Vs Aston Villa (H)
Liverpool have been in fantastic form at home. Even though they got smacked last GW, I have no doubt that the Reds will perform well this GW. Salah and Mane will be the one’s to watch and potential captain picks. Be careful of rotation at the back, I feel Van Dijk is the most secure option but Trent could be a high risk/high reward option. The free kick that he scored vs Liverpool is stuck in my mind.

11.Manchester City
GK. Ederson (6.0), D. Laporte (6.3), D. Garcia (4.5), M. Foden (5.3), M. Sterling (11.7), M. Mahrez (8.5), KDB (10.7)
Vs Southampton (A)
Like Van Dijk at Liverpool, Laporte is the most secure option at the back. Eric Garcia and Foden would make WONDERFUL signings that is if they start. They’re very cheap and one could potentially keep a clean sheet while the other has proven to be deadly in the last few games. With Sane gone, I feel Mahrez is a better option compared to Silva. He almost scored last GW but it was ruled out. Bernardo hasn’t been quite good since the restart. Sterling has been touted to perform in the GW having scored and assisted vs Liverpool. The game vs Southampton looks a bit tricky to me but if City score early into the game I think they should score at least three. KDB is an UNTOUCHABLE.

12.Manchester United
GK. De Gea (5.3), D. Wan-Bissaka (5.4), M. Fernandes (8.8), M. Martial (8.2), F. Rashford (9.1), F. Greenwood (4.4)
Vs Bournemouth (H)
The Red Devils are in great form and are unbeaten in their last 15 games. De Gea would come under my ‘differentials’ for goalkeepers this week as most owners have opted for Pope, Allison, Ederson or Henderson. Aaron Wan-Bissaka racked 2 assists in his last two games and is drawing attention for his double digit hauls. Bruno Fernandes scored twice last week and is one of the most consistent players in the league. In attack, Greenwood could be fantastic option but risky at the same time. He’s deemed to be the best finisher in the team according to Solskjaer and is priced at just 4.4 million! Rashford is bound to score a goal for sure. He has looked quite sharp and a few mistimed shots cost him goals in previous matches.

13.Newcastle United
D. Fernandez (4.6), M. Saint-Maximin (5.5)
Vs West Ham (H)
West Ham may have beat Chelsea last week but that doesn't change the fact that they are super shaky and inconsistent. Fernandez is the best option at the back for his price as Lascelles is doubtful for the game. Saint-Maximin got 3 assists vs Bournemouth could repeat a similar feat vs the Hammers.

14.Norwich City
M. Cantwell (4.6)
Vs Brighton (H)
The Canaries have lost all three of matches since the Premier League returned and are yet to score a goal. Todd Cantwell seems to be Norwich’s best pick as the forwards don’t seem to be doing much. Cantwell scored against Manchester United in the FA Cup. The 22 year old looks like the only player who could conjure something from outside the box.

15.Sheffield United
GK. Henderson (5.2), D. Egan (4.5)
Vs Burnley (A)
A 0-0 draw that I predicted would also mean a clean sheet for Henderson and Egan who could be another bargain at 4.5m.

16.Southampton
Vs Manchester City (H)
-

17.Tottenham Hotspur
M. Son (9.8), F. Kane (10.9)
Vs Everton (H)
The duo are the only players I’d consider having as they either score or assist on a regular basis. Aurier is another player that I like but Spurs need to keep more clean sheets. Spurs play Bournemouth and Arsenal (H) in their next two games and will make good long term signings.

18.Watford
M. Sarr (6.1), F. Deeney (6.2)
Vs Chelsea (A)
I didn’t take a look at any stats for this one but I’m suggesting these two names from the way Chelsea performed vs West Ham. Defensively Chelsea are poor and the way they man-mark during set pieces makes me feel uncomfortable. Deeney can be a monster in the box and capitalize on Chelsea’s mistakes. Sarr, is another name who can cause problems for Chelsea’s fullbacks and he’ll be the one Frank Lampard could be focusing on.

19.West Ham United
Vs Newcastle United (A)
-

20.Wolverhampton Wanderers
M. Traore (5.8), F. Jimenez (8.3)
Vs Arsenal (H)
Jimenez and Traore are the go-to picks for anyone in this fixture. Personally, I feel Traore has been a bit of a disappointment but I think it is just a tactical approach from Nuno, the way he’s trying to utilize him. Traore is also a big game player and could expose Arsenals mistakes at the back along with Raul Jimenez. Arsenal had it a bit easy in their last couple of games but Wolves certainly trouble them at the Molineux.
