You walked through the corridors. You were a little lost. Not lost as in, you didnt know where to go.. but lost because you felt quite alone.

You had friends but at home your parents had hundreds of creatures. You had your own favourite one.. a little dragon. She was recently born.. you weren't allowed to take her to Hogwarts and you just missed her and the other creatures.

'Ouch.. dont try to bite me. I'm trying to feed you.'

You stopped when you heard that. You usually never came to this part of the castle. Someone was here?

You walked into the direction of the sound. You heard more mumbling which you couldn't understand. It led you to a set of stairs. You walked up them.

You saw a hufflepuff student sitting there. You know him as Newt Scamander. You talked from time to time. Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff had similar classes.

You saw him feeding a tiny creature.. he had those here? You smiled right away and hurried upstairs. Newt turned his head and saw you.

'You have creatures here? This is amazing.' You smiled.

'Yes I do.. what an enthusiasm.' He grinned.

'We have lots of creatures at home.' You smiled.

You sat down besides you and looked at all the tiny creature around him.

'They were injured.. couldn't let them out there.' Newt said.

He was holding what looked like a baby bird.. he looked at you. He smiled and handed it to you. You were doubting but held out your hands. Newt placed the tiny bird in your hands and handed you what he used to feed it.

You smiled while gently tried to feed it. Newt smiled while watching you. You seemed to be really happy with this.

'Do you need help?' You asked.

'What?' Newt asked.

'With all of this. I would love to help.' You said.

You then looked up at him. He smiled at you.

'If you want.' He smiled.

'Are you kidding me? Of course!'

You and Newt had become really good friends. You enjoyed spending all the time with him. You liked him a lot.

'I mean.. I do but I don't think Newt likes me that way.' You said to your other friend.

'You shouldn't like him. What Ravenclaw falls in love with a hufflepuff? They're stupid.'

You turned your head and saw your ex friend, Max. After you decided to end your friendship with him he started bullying you.

'Hufflepuffs aren't stupid. They're kind and loyal.' You said.

'They're incredibly dumb and big cowards.. but you're one too so I guess you two make a perfect couple.'

'Shut up Max. You know nothing about him.' You hissed while getting up.

'He's a hufflepuff, that's all I need to know. Just like you should've been one with the grades you've been getting.' He snapped.

'I've been improving a lot lately, because of Newt. So you better shut your mouth.' You hissed while walking away.

You didnt want to fight with him anymore. He was never going to forget it and leave you alone. Newt saw you leave the great hall, your eye filled with anger and a bit of sadness. You just couldn't take it when someone trashed the person you cared about.

Newt hurried after you. He saw you heading up to the place where his creatures were. You sat down and started just patting them and playing with them.

'Y/N.'

You turned looked at the stairs and saw Newt.

'Oh hey..'

'Are you okay? You seem upset.'

You sighed and looked away from him. Newt sat down besides you. You told him about your friends and also about Max.

'Its just Max. Nothing important.'

'What did he do.'

'He started trashing you.. saying you're dumb and a coward and that I should've been in hufflepuff because I'm the same.. I just cant take it when he says that about you.' You said while keeping your eyes at the creatures.

You were too shy to look at him.

'He's just jealous.' Newt said. 'Jealous that you're doing better than him.'

You looked at him and smiled.

'Tell you what, I'll help you to cheer up. Hogsmeade, you and me, tomorrow?' He asked.

You smiled. You didnt know if he was asking you out but you gladly said yes.
