Two Weeks. It's been two weeks since James has been in a coma. Doctors had said he was supposed to wake up the day after the incident, but it seemed to only be getting worse and worse as time grew on.

Natasha grieved as any parent did. She sat in Sarah's room and cried, she sat in James's hospital room and cried, and you drank. A lot. Steve was no better. He probably destroyed over a hundred punching bags, he drank all of the Asgardian med that Thor left him a while ago. He held his wife in bed, not letting her go, afraid that she too would disappear. They were slowly becoming shells of their former selves.

Everyone on the team, minus Tony and Thor, would stop by and to get the couple more groceries,  bring them stuff they asked for, which wasn't really a lot, and would simply be there for the parents.

Maria and Clint's were sitting with Natasha outside their house, Sam was inside talking to Steve. It was quiet, there weren't any conversations happening, their presence was all they needed. But when they did talk, it made Natasha feel that much better.

"Maria, Clint?" Natasha finally spoke.

"Yeah?" Maria asked.

"You ever want the world to stop? The voices in your head to shut up? Has it ever been so apparent that the pain isn't going to go away any time soon that you so desperately want to do anything to stop it?"

"You know we do Nat," Clint said softly. "You should be focusing on you right now."

"How can I do that when my son is still in the hospital?" She asked.

"How are you doing? Maybe talking about everything isn't so bad." Maria said.

"I don't know what to talk about." She admitted. "It's like all my thoughts have been locked away and all I'm left with is these voices that are just clawing and pushing me down." Her friends looked at her. "You can stop looking at me at like that. I am not suicidal."

"We never said you were," Maria pointed out.

"But you're looking at me like you think I wanna kill myself."  She sighed. "I wouldn't do that. I can't do that to Steve."

"That's good. At least you know that." Clint said. "Nat you don't have to rush this, you take the time you need. No one is expecting you to be fine right afterward."

"I want to be fine. I don't want to keep going like this. It feels like I am trapped in an endless cycle of pain."

"Have you talked with Steve?"

"We talk every day."

"I mean really talk," Clint corrected. "Not asking if you want a cup of water, but talk about your feelings."

"No." She admitted, "What's there even left for us to talk about?"

"Maybe you guys just need to realize that you're going through the same thing, it can help to talk with him," Maria said. It wasn't like Steve and Natasha were hiding from each other, it's just the only time they felt decently okay was when they were in each other's arms. They didn't want to ruin that feeling.

Before Maria could say anything, her phone rang, a frown appearing on her face as she listened to the person who called her.
"Okay, I'll be right there." Maria sighed hanging up. Clint looked over at her and was about to ask her what's wrong when his phone rang as well. He raised an eyebrow as well and Maria shook her head in annoyance.

"Hello?" He said. "Yes this is him... you're joking, okay, I'll be right there."

"Where are you guys going?" Natasha asked when they both stood.

"Apparently Nate, Miles Nic, Morgan, and Willa got into a fight."

"With who?" She questioned.

"Each other," Maria said. That was odd, sure they had a few disagreements but they never fought. "Apparently Nic and Morgan started arguing than Miles agreed with Nic causing Nate to go against him and Willa was trying to separate Morgan and Nic."

"Keep me updated?" She asked softly. Maria nodded and went inside to get Sam.

"You gonna be okay?" Clint asked. "I can stay-"

"No, you go to help your family. You can't worry about me every second of the day anymore Clint."

"Maybe not, but it doesn't stop me from worrying." He laughed. "Call me if you need anything you hear? Laura will have my head if I don't make sure that you're okay. I swear sometimes I think she loves you more than me,"

"That's because she does," Natasha said softly. Maria came out with Sam, who gave Natasha's shoulder a squeeze. She smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. It never did anymore. Reluctantly their group of friends left to deal with their kids.

When the group arrived at the school, Tony, Pepper, Bucky, Wanda, and Scott had just arrived as well. Bucky, ignored Tony, as usual, because he was pissed at Tony as well. Wanda kept by her husband going into school while everyone else politely greeted one another.

In school, all the kids sat in the office. Nicole, Willa, and Miles on one side, and then Nate, and Morgan on the other. Miles had a towel to his nose, which was bleeding. Morgan had an ice pack and a black eye. Nate was also sporting a black eye. Nicole sat there unbothered, with no cuts or bruises, along with Willa.
"Someone wanna explain what the hell happened?" Maria asked.

"No not particularly," Miles muttered under his breath.

"Okay," The principle came out, "Mr and Mrs, Stark, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. Lang, and Mr. Barton." Laura could not join. "Please come to my office."

They all went into a rather large office space and waited for the lecture about their children's behavior to start. "I would just like to start off by saying I know this is not a good time for your families right now, however, your children do go to school with other kids and we can not let them go with a warning because of their parents."

"We wouldn't expect any less," Wanda said. "The kids need discipline, we are not arguing with you on that."

"With that being said, I figured we can have Nicole and Morgan come in and explain how the fight occurred?" The group nodded and then a minute later, the two girls came in with a great amount of distance between them.

"Let's begin then shall we? Girls, go on ahead."

"I would first like to start off by saying this was not my fault," Morgan said looking at her parents.

"Like hell, it's not," Nicole said. "This entire thing was your fault Stark."

"Maybe if you'd actually listen to me-"

"Listen to you? That's priceless coming from you,"

"Enough," Maria said, directing it to her daughter. "Someone explain what the hell happened, Nic I swear to god."

"Okay. Fine." She said. "Let's start at the start of the day."

The day started off as per usual. They got to school, Nicole fell asleep in her math class, then Miles complained about her falling asleep in the class. It was after that class when the group came together did the tension in the air thicken.

"Did you guys hear?" Miles asked. "The doctors said James's state is improving!"

"How do you know that twerp?" Nate asked.

"First of all, don't call me twerp asshole. Second of all, I go see him every day after school with Nicole and Willa."

"You guys go see him?" Morgan asked. "Why didn't you invite us?"

"Because we didn't keep secrets from him," Nicole said. "And Francis is too pint up on guilt to even go look at James."

"Seriously? You don't think I don't feel bad about that?" Morgan asked. "Just because I kept one secret from him doesn't mean I can't go see him."

"It does actually. When his parents decide they don't wanna see yours, that includes you. But I am sure that you're already aware of that considering the fact that your own brother won't look at you."

"Don't bring my brother into this," Morgan growled.

"His best friend died Morgan. You knew it was going to happen and you did nothing."

"I did do something!"

"Nothing that mattered." Nicole shot back. "You can go ahead and point out all the reason I am wrong but when you have to physically watch your, baby brother, whenever we are home alone because your afraid he might go ahead and end his pain, then I might actually listen to you."

"My brother is hurting too-"

"Yeah, I know! Because he comes to my house! He comes over and talks to me! He cries at our house because he can't stand there and look at you, your mom, or your dad."

"You can't blame this entire thing on me, Nicole. Just because you can't do shit-"

"What I can do doesn't matter. Why don't you get off your high horse and see that this isn't about us." Nicole shot back.

"Nicole your acting so fucking disrespectful, and that's coming from me," Nate said. "You don't know how she's feeling."

"Maybe she doesn't, but you do don't you Nate? Bringing Sarah to James in the first place." Miles muttered.

"I wasn't in control."

"Whatever lets you sleep at night. Doesn't change the fact that it happened."

"Are you asking for a fight Miles?"

"Okay guys," Willa said. "Let's just take a break?"

"Yeah Wilson," Morgan said. "Listen to your girlfriend and back off. We both know you can't beat me anyway."

"Wanna bet?" Nicole asked. "You don't have any powers without your suit."

"Doesn't stop me from beating your ass-" Nicole interrupted her by punching her in the face, Morgan stumbled back but then went to grab Nicole. The fight began the students began coming closer to watch. Miles and Nate on the verge of a fight while Willa tried to get into the middle of her friends.

"Guys we are gonna get in trouble. Our parents have enough to deal with!" Willa was ignored as Nicole slammed Morgan into the lockers. Willa looked over at Miles and Nate and Nate were beating the shit out of Miles. Willa went over and pushed Nate off, unfortunately, Miles took that opportunity to land a good few punches on Nate before a teacher pulled them away from each other.

Nicole and Morgan already pulled apart, Morgan holding her nose, and Nicole seemed to be unbothered. "My office right now! All of you!" The principal yelled. Willa was tempted to walk away because technically she wasn't involved in the actual fight. "You too Ms. Barnes." She sighed. Their parents are gonna be thrilled with this.

"So yeah, that's basically what happened," Nicole said. "And as you can see it's not my fault."

"Not your fault?" Morgan asked. "You broke my nose!"

"Maybe if you learned to fight you'd be okay," Nicole said, Maria sent a glare to her daughter effectively shutting her up.

"All four of them will be suspended." She said. "For about a week. Ms. Barnes will not, however, I do suggest you have a talk with her." Bucky nodded his head, a bit glad that his daughter did not actually get into a physical fight with everyone. He's pulled Steve out of every single fight he's been in growing up, he was not about to begin the tradition with his daughter.

"We are very sorry about the fight, my husband and I will pay for any of the damages done to the school," Pepper said. Maria rolled her eyes, the problem wasn't going to go away with money.

"And while I appreciate that, you all need to have a talking to with your kids. This sort of behavior will not be tolerated at my school. Ms. Stark, Ms. Wilson, I expect better."

"You really shouldn't," Nicole muttered.

"Well, than we will all be taking our children now," Hope said. "And we will punish them accordingly."

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused," Wanda added. "We promise to get things sorted out."

"I do hope that is true." The principle said. "Have a good day."

They all walked out, the parents walking in fron of their kids, no one spoke at all. The kids trailed behind one another, none looking each other in the eyes, except for Nic and Willa.
"I will call you later?" Willa asked Nicole.

"No you will not." Maria interrupted. "Because you, Nicole, have lost your phone for the time being."

"When will I get it back?"

"When I say so." Her mother said. Nicole rolled her eyes and than said goodbye to Willa. WIlla walked over to her mom.

"Are you mad at me?"

"I don't think you did anything wrong. But I do need to talk to you."

"About what?" The young girl asked.

"Something is going on with you and I'd like to know what, no more hiding Willa, you are gonna sit down and tell me, you hear?"

"yes, mom." Miles walked by, his mother adjusting the ice on her son's face.

"You know, most kids are stupid enough to get into a fight with a kid twice the size of them." Hope said.

"That's funny considering your guy's whole power is becoming an inch tall." Miles laughed, flinching as the pain in his face increased.

"You know, when I got out of jail, they gave me a black eye... that was a damn good day." Scott said remembering the time fondly.

"What your father meant to say, you are not to go out, your phone and computer are ours for the time being."

"What am I supposed to do?"

"You can do all the work you'll be missing because of your suspension. Now get in the car." Hope said. Miles sighed and stepped in the car.  Nate walking by, sending a cold glare at the boy as he went.

"I can't even put into words how disappointed I am in you." Clint told his son. "You do understand that I told you I would be with your aunt today. She needs me right now."

"Don't you think I need you dad?" Nate hissed at his father.

"No I don't because you fail to even communicate with me these days. I try to start a conversation with you and you get annoyed. So no, Nate, I don't think you need me." His father shot back. "Hell, when was the last time you sat down and just talked with your mother."

"Why in the hell would I do that?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Because she is your mother Nate. Believe it or not but she likes to spend time her children." Nate only rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I don't ever want to get a call from the school saying you got into a fight again do you understand me?"

"You act like you never get into fights with your friends. May I remind you of the entire civil war you all had."

"That was one of the biggest mistakes we've ever had Nate, It's hard to come back from that. Don't ruin the great bond you guys all have."

"Your insperational talks need some work dad, because I am not inspired."

"Just get in the car, we will talk about your punishment with your mother."

Walking up to Morgan and the Starks was Torunn, who has been talking with Morgan the last few days. Torunn didn't understand the concept of Midgaurdian school, so she just showed up to talk to the girl.

"Would you all look at that." Nicole laughed stepping out of her car. "She's friends with the bitch."

"Nicole-" Morgan attempted to intteript.

"You know, usually when someone stabs a friend in the back, as friends, we don't associate with that person."

"Is that what we are Nicole? Friends?" Morgan asked. "Because from where I am standing we aren't friends. Maybe we never were!"

"I think it's time we go." Sam said to his daughter who shrugged his hand off her shoulder.

"No let her finish her sentence. Go ahead. Tell me how we aren't friends Morgan. Why don't you tell them who was there for you when your parents didn't go to your games. When no one else, not even James, wanted to hang out with you, who hung out with you? Oh you know what's even better? Tell them who took care of you when you were drugged at a party!"

"What?" Tony said in a whisper.

"You don't know a damn thing about friendship Morgan. You walk around here with your head so high up your ass that you don't see what's in front of you. Torunn is to blame here, if she had just been honest, none of this would have happened. So why don't you think about that."

"None of this is Torunn's fault!"

"Why don't you go tell that to Sarah's parents! Why don't you go sit in their living room and listen to one of the strongest women in the world break down in tears! Why don't you listen to the man who has been there for each and every one of us punch the fuck out of a tree because he's so fucking lost.  Or listen to your parents talk about Nick, the man who is basically our stone cold yet loving grandpa, who is drinking and being even meaner. Go tell it to your own god damn brother Morgan!"

"You have no right to talk about my brother."

"That fact of the matter is i do! Because like I told you earlier, he can't look at you!" She looked down and than back up after a minute. "i know you are hurting Morgan. It's no fucking secret that you are in love with James, but guess what? Everyone else is hurting. You are not special, not right now. Not when you only kept the secret to protect James. James didn't need protection. Sarah did. Sarah is gone, and you could have done something. You should have. Maybe think about that."

Morgan stood their aimlessly staring at Nicole, as she got back into her car. Plegued with this idea that she could have done something. She stared running, hearing the voices of her parents calling for her. She ran. Was she running away from her problems? She couldn't tell. Maybe. Maybe not. She let her feet take her away. Where she ended up was somewhere she need to be. She let her cold hand knock on the door.

"Morgan?"

"Hello Auntie Nat."
