Morgan sat in her room staring at the wall before her. Yesterday's meeting with Torunn and James had affected her more then she would have thought. After Torunn had told her about James, she couldn't get it off her mind. She could have been lying right? She had to! James never would do something like that.

She finished the night off with James and Torunn, who was acting as if nothing had happened and then rushed home. She could barely look James in the eyes when he said goodbye. Torunn's words were ringing in her ear all night.

Even the next day that's all she could think about. She had to cancel training because she couldn't pull herself together. Torunn had really affected her. She has to be wrong. In what world would James Grant Rogers kill his sister? The sister he loves and adores... well as much as you can love and adore a sibling when they weren't fighting all the time. No James wouldn't.

But if that was true why couldn't she let this go?

There was a small knock on her room door, Morgan looked away from her wall to see her dad walking in. Tony smiled at her.
"Your mother is calling you down for dinner. Has been for a while and I'd come down if I was you."

"Oh sorry I was just thinking." She sighed.

"Dangerous business." He commented. "Why don't you come down here and tell me all about it."

"It's not something I can really talk about dad," She commented walking over to the door of her room.

"Why not?" He asked as they began walking down the stairs. "you know you can talk to me."

"I know dad, it's just I don't know how to come about it," she admitted.

"Come about what?" Pepper asked.

"Morgan has a secrete," Tony answered before his daughter could say anything.

"A secrete? Why are you keeping secrets?" Pepper asked. "Come sit down and you can tell me all about you secrete."

"Mom it's called a secrete for a reason," Morgan responded with a slight frown as she went to go sit down at the table. Pepper had prepared pasta and salad for dinner today. Pepper made sure to always cook for her kids, she didn't want them ordering take out, as their father so often did when it was just them at home.

"Come on it's just us," Pepper said with an encouraging smile. "Who's gonna spill it?" Morgan shot a look over at Elliot who was bored eating his food. "Please he's not even aware he's eating dinner at the moment."

"Mom I can't tell you. Cause i know you guys are going to make a big deal about it and that's something I really don't need right now."

"Does anyone else know about your secret?" Tony asked.

"One other person." She responded filling her salad bowl with a small scoop of salad, she was really losing her appetite.

"Did that person ask you not to tell anyone?" She asked.

"Well, I guess not. We really didn't get a chance afterward to talk about it. She kinda just told me and we had to move on."

"well, like your parents, it's our job to make sure you are safe at all times, meaning nothing is harming you physically or mentally, it would make us bad parents if we didn't take the chance to ask you what exactly is bothering you." Tony attempted to explain.

"What your father means is that you should tell us what's bothering you so we can help."

"No offense guys, but I don't think this is something you guys can help with."

"Not if you don't give us a chance," Pepper smiled.

"Okay. Fine. Just because I need to get it off my chest. But you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone!" She said looking directly at her father.

"Hey! Why are you looking at me?" He asked. "I can keep secrets."

"You told the entire world you were ironman! at a press conference meant to prove you weren't. You have the entire world your address! You-"

"Okay okay, I get it. "

"You literally walked into the kitchen two minutes ago telling mom I had a secret," Morgan added.

"Okay, I said I get it. I promise I won't tell. Now out with it. I am getting bored."

"Okay."

Natasha stared at her son not making at a move. James was staring back at her with the same intensity, not daring to take his eyes off of her. Both to prone to winning to even think about looking away now. Too much had been invested in it.

"You know." Sarah started to her father. "If this is how the rest of family game nights are going to go, count me out."

"Your mother and brother are simply competitive that's all," Steve said.

"Right, well I'd prefer to live till I'm at least 50, so count me out of the next game." She said and looked at the UNO cards. "I quit."

"Me too," Steve said. "What some ice cream?"

"Sure, we'd probably make it back before either one of them makes their turn anyway," Sarah muttered and they both went up to go get some ice cream, leaving their cards on the table. Once out of view Natasha and James smirked, reaching for their cards.

"Your father has all blues," Natasha said amused.

"And Sarah has two greens and four blue."

"So all we have to do is stay away from Blue and these numbers," Natasha smirked. "Then it's just you and me."

"You mean it will just be me?" James asked. "Because there is no way you are going to beat me in this game. It's just not possible."

"We will see about that," Natasha smirked. "So how was it yesterday? You never told me how it was. Morgan and Torunn friends now?"

"Hard to tell," James answered. "Morgan was acting weird all night."

"Weird how?"

"I don't know she was just off like she couldn't look at me straight when we talked. It was weird." James sat up straight taking a sip of the water next to him.

"Well she is related to your uncle, the weird seems to come from him."

"Maybe," James said. "She's never acted like this before."

"Just giver her time James, you have a new girl in your life." Now, something was off with Natasha's voice. To most people, she would have been able to hide it, but James knew his mother.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing is wrong," Natasha answered. "Wanna go get some ice cream with your father?"

"No. Mom what's up."

"I just want to make sure you are okay." She said James gave her a confused look. "I know that you like Torunn, and I want to make sure you are okay."

"Okay because you think I have a crush?" He asked. "I think I'm fine."

"I know you think you're fine but I want to make sure that you know what you're doing. That you aren't compromising yourself." Natasha said.

"How so?" He asked.

"Just you know, doing things that you don't feel comfortable doing." She answered.

"Mom! What do you assume I'm doing?" He asked.

"Nothing. Because if you were doing something, I'd most likely kill you." She said. "No, what I am talking about I am talking about is compromising who you are in your heart."

"You are acting like I am changing mom. Trust me when I say this, you won't see me changing myself." James sighed. "Now do you wanna finish this game or not?"

"James I not trying to tell you what to do."

"I know mom."

"I love you very much and I don't want to see you change for anyone. Even if that person is the daughter of a god."

"I don't think Thor is technically a god," James said.

"Well, agree to disagree." He said.

"if you ever need someone to talk to James. I will always be here. Always."

"No matter what happens?" He asked.

"Nothing on earth could ever make me look at you any differently" She smiled.

"Cool. Now come on, I'd really like to prove to you that you suck at UNO." He smiled. Steve and Sarah walked back into the room with four bowls of ice cream.

"ready?" Steve asked.

"Oh I am ready, the question is are you guys ready to lose?" Natasha asked.

"You know sometimes I'd just once like to have a normal family game night," Sarah muttered.

"Honey you live in the Rogers household, there is no normal," Natasha smirked.

"A girl could wish,"

Tony and Pepper were pacing back and forth. Elliot had long left, not even bothering to listen to the conversation between his parents and older sister. Now Morgan sat on the couch watching her parents.

"This is exactly why I didn't want to tell you" Morgan muttered.

"You're telling me that James is destined to kill his sister according to some child goddess?" Tony asked. "I don't believe it."

"Dad you weren't there, the way she said it, the way she spoke was not that of someone who was trying to joke around," Morgan commented.

"But that doesn't make any sense. Why would James try to kill his sister." Pepper asked. "He's like the sweetest boy I've ever met."

"I don't know mom. That's something you'd have to ask Thor, I am sure he knows." Morgan stated.

"We have to tell Natasha and Steve," Pepper said.

"No we can't do that," Tony said. "it would crush them. Besides, it's probably nothing. She's just trying to mess with you."

"But dad-"

"We will talk to Thor tomorrow," Tony said. "I don't think James is capable of something like that."

"And if he is?" She asked.

"Then we'd figure out what to do next. Until we talk to Thor I want you to just forget about it," he said. "Okay?" Morgan looked at him carefully before nodding her head. She walked out of the living room to go to her room. Tony and Pepper watched her carefully.

"Why aren't we going to tell Nat and Steve?" Pepper asked.

"What would you do if it was Morgan and Elliot?" Tony asked. "Natasha and Steve have already had a very difficult start, you know that. They are finally content. This might not even mean a thing, but I promise you I'll talk to Thor. For all, we know Torunn is just saying this to push James and Morgan away from each other."

"Do you think there is any truth in it?"

"No." He said confidently. "I've known James since the day he was born. That kid couldn't hurt a fly."

"They have gifts now Tony. You can't blame me for worrying."She said.

"We've all been working with them, an hour a day, making sure they know how to control their powers. I don't know what's gotten into all of them but they've been doing a whole lot better lately."

"Just last week they were at each others throats," she muttered. "How did they get so good in a week."

"I don't know, a moment of confidence but have inspired them I guess." Tony shrugged. "I'd like to think I am just a great teacher."

"God I need a drink," She said shaking her head.

"Oh please you know I am right." She said and looked at her husband who wore a smirk on his face. "What?"

"Sometimes I really question how we ever got together."

"Oh really? Cause I think it's my amazing charm and loving attitude that just made you fall heads over heels for me," he smirked. "I just have the quality about me that everyone loves."

"Oh yeah," She patted his chest. "Whatever you want to believe babe," She walked away leaving Tony standing there shaking his head. He sighed, he will figure things out, for the sake of his friend he will find out if the words spoken of James are true."
