Josh quickly rushed down the stairs to get the door for Tyler. He had been nervous all morning. He was excited to hang out with Tyler but he was worried they wouldn't have anything to talk about and would just be filled with awkward silence. But he didn't have time to worry now because Tyler was standing in his doorway with an awkward smile as he greeted Josh.

Immediately after Tyler walked in he had a smile on his face. "Woah dude this song is great! Actually the whole album's great but still." Josh had completely lost track of time and he still had him music playing throughout the house.

The two hadn't really texted about music and Josh saw this as a potentially non awkward conversation so they sat on his couch and continued to talk about music. They talked about different bands they liked and Josh played new songs and artists for Tyler that he quickly fell in love with.

They continued like that for a few hours until Josh's mom walked through the front door. "Hey honey, I thought you had work toda- oh who's this?" She smiled brightly at Tyler when her eyes landed on him.

"Oh this is my friend Tyler. He just moved here not too long ago." Josh said simply.

Tyler stood up to shake her hand and Mrs. Dun smiled at him "Well Tyler it's nice to meet you. You're welcome here anytime."

Tyler smiled back. He couldn't believe a women he just met could be so friendly and nice. "Thank you Mrs. Dun. It's nice to meet you." She smiled at him again then walked upstairs.

Josh looked over at Tyler and smiled "So uh... do you want to hang out in my room?"

Tyler glanced at the clock on his phone. "Yeah. I don't have to be home till 6:30."

The two walked upstairs and as they made their way Tyler asked Josh who each room belonged to. The two had talked about their siblings before and Tyler already knew all of Josh's siblings.

"And this one?" Tyler asked as they approached the door next to Josh's.
They had already gone past his sisters and parents rooms and Tyler had no idea who this room could belong to.

A surprised look crossed Josh's face almost like he didn't know about the room next to his but he tried to hide it as he answered. "Oh... that was my brothers room. But we aren't really supposed to talk about it."

"Why not?" Tyler asked before he had even thought otherwise.

Josh scratched the back of his neck as he answered Tyler with a slightly shaky voice. "Because he's dead."

A/N: I've prewritten so many chapters. Like I have most of the chapters written for the fic and oh my I wrote the last chapter and agh! But anyway this was a short chapter because I just wanted to get the last part out so the next chapter can be Tyler's POV.

Thanks for reading! Comment, vote and all that Jazz if you liked it.
