We pull into the hospital parking lot we get out I carry her in "we need a doctor" I say "bring her over here" a nurse says I lay her on the bed "how long as she been out" a nurse says "um a couple minutes" I say "she has deep cuts a possible concussion" a nurse says "sit we are going to need you stay out here" a nurse says holding me back "no" I say I feel someone grab me "Colby she will be alright" Bryce says I stop in my tracks and look as she goes behind the doors "please be ok" I say "come on" Bryce says I follow him to the waiting room we sit down and wait for updates I put my head in my hands "she will be ok don't worry" Bryce says I look at him "look she's all I have left and I can tell you love her Colby" he says I look away love I mean ya I like the way she smiles and the lay her lips touch on mine and her hazel eyes and when she does this cute thing when she's nervous she plays with this bracelet she has oh god I love her No I'm in love with her.

"And she loves you" he says I look at him "I see the way you guys look at each other" he says and smiles I chuckle "I'm waiting for you to ask her out" he says "well I was until all this happened" I say he looks at me "really" he says I nod "ya but now it's not the right time" I say he raises an eyebrow "dude just go for it as soon as she wakes up ask her she's not the type for romantic stuff" he says I smile at the thought of her "just don't break her heart" he says and glares at me "ok I won't I promise" I say "ok" he says the others soon comes in "hey anything" Sam says I shake my head no he hugs me "I can't lose her man" I say "I know" Sam says I pull away and wipe my eyes "let's just sit down and wait they will tell us something soon" Corey says everyone sits down Kat next to Sam Corey next to Devyn and Jake next to Tara "wait how many people did we lose" Bryce says "almost everyone" Corey says I look away god Taylor's going to kill me "ok let's not worry about that right now" Bryce says

It's been a couple hours and still nothing I start to get anxious "Colby sit down dude" Jake says I have been pacing around for the past hour "we will get something soon" Kat says I ignore them "Taylor Hall" a doctor says we all stand up and go over there "I'm her brother" Bryce says "well" I say and cross my arms "she had some deep cuts and a gunshot in the leg we took the bullet out and stitched them up she has a concussion but she's going to be ok" he says I take a deep breathe in relief thank go let she's ok "can we see her" Devyn says "yes but she is still unconscious" he says I don't care I want to see her and I want to be the first person she sees when she wakes up "she's in room 370" the doctor says I nod and head that way they soon follow "360" I say to myself "ha 370" I say and stop at the door I start to go open it but stop "Colby what's wrong" Corey says I shake it off and open it there she is laying there lifeless I start to tear up and go next to her I pull a chair up and sit down I grab her hand on mine "let's give them some space" Kat says and basically pushes everyone out as soon as they leave I look at her "I don't know if you can hear me but god I don't know how to say this" I say and look away I take a deep breathe "I like you Taylor I really do ever since I laid eyes on you I knew you were the one I like the way you smile and you do this cute thing when you get nervous you start to play with your rings or bracelets your hazel eyes I get lost in them" I say and look at her "please wake up soon I need you" I say I get up and kiss her forehead I pull away I get up and start to go get everyone until I feel her squeeze my hand "Colby" she whispers I look and sees she's awake.

Taylor's POV
I wake up and I look around and it's dark I look and see Colby "Colby" I say he sits next to me I notice he has tears in his eyes "don't cry I'm right here" I say I then realize he can't hear me I must be unconscious he starts to say something "I don't know if you can hear me but god I don't know how to say this" he says I don't say anything I notice he looks away "no look at me" I say he then starts to talk "I like you Taylor I really do ever since I laid eyes on you I knew you were the one I like the way you smile and you do this cute thing when you get nervous you start to play with your rings or bracelets your hazel eyes I get lost in them" he says I notice my eyes are watering "please wake up soon I need you" he says I close my eyes and try really hard to wake up.

"Colby" I whisper he turns and looks at me "ya I'm right here" he says I look at him he starts to cry "come here" I say and hold my arms out I scoot over slowly he comes and lays next me "why are you crying" I say wiping his tears with my thumb "I almost lost you" he says and looks up at me I look down and I kiss him he kisses back we pull away "I never recalled you being the romantic type" I say he chuckles "well maybe I'll surprise you" he says I roll my eyes and chuckle "will you go out with me" he says I look at him and smile "yes" I say he looks at me shocked "really" he says and sits up he helps me sit up "ya it's time to let the past go it's time to forget" I say he looks at me he leans in but someone comes through the door "finally" Kat says we both look at her "we're you listening" Colby says she nods "so we're they" she says and everyone comes in I burry my head in Colby's shoulder and grown "never thought you had the balls to do it" Jake says I look at him and laugh "I'm glad your ok I think we all our" Jake says everyone nods "wait where's Taylor, chase and josh" I say they all look away "we lost them Taylor they didn't make it" Bryce says and comes over next to me my eyes start to water Colby brings me into a tight hug "they died knowing that you loved them and they loved you" Bryce says I look at him "I'm just glad your ok" I say he looks at me "ya me too we only have each other now" he says I nod "ya we do" I say and smile a bit "ok enough with all this sappy stuff" Tara says we all chuckle we start to talk and catch up "ah your up I just came to check in" the doctor says he does all the stuff "ok you are good to go let's just get your release papers now you gotta take it easy for a couple days so don't rip your stitches they should dissolve within a week or two" he says I nod he leaves "wow look at that you got lucky you don't half to stay over night" Corey says I nod "ya" I say and nurse then comes in and takes out the iv "take it easy ok" the nurse says "I will" I say she leaves "I found these clothes in the trunk of your car" Bryce says and tosses them to me I catch them "this isn't m—" I start to say but I stop myself I look at Colby he smirks it's his hoodie and a pair of my jeans and my checkered vans "ok well we will meet you at home Colby's already claimed your riding with him so see you guys at home" Bryce says I roll my eyes "ok bye" I say they leave and now it's just me Colby.
