You let out a sigh as you stepped out of Qin Shi Huang's room. The man had too much energy just like other gods you knew. The fight with Buddha was officially over as you were determined to find Brunhilde.
You were ready for the fight, in which you would win, you were certain. Were you overconfident? Maybe, and there is no shame in doing so.
You soon found yourself wandering the halls once more. You stopped as you had found her. "Lady Y/N, I've been looking for you," Brunhilde called out to you. You started at her as you both stood in front of the door to her room. A smirk plastered on her face as she stared at you.
Beside her Göll stood, her jaw on the floor as she wiped her head to look at Brunhilde. "Sister, you shouldn't be so straightforward with her!" Göll shrieked. Your face was blank as you looked at them both and your lips quickly formed a smile.
"Ah Brunhilde, Göll, is it almost my turn yet?" You asked, standing confidently in front of them.
Brunhilde's smirk didn't fall as she nodded her head. "Yes, I wish for you to fight for round 7. I'm still not sure who you will be matched up against." She said with a sigh.
Göll gave you a thumbs up as her eyes shined bright. "Either way I have no doubt you will score another point for us! I can't wait to see the faces of others when we win again!"
You let out a chuckle as you extended your hand forward patting down her hair. "Thank you Göll, you seem to have very high expectations for me." Her eyes widened as she realized what she said. "Eek-! Sorry Lady Y/N!"
You laughed once more as you waved your hands in front of you. "It's fine I'm glad you think so." You told her as you then turned to look at Brunhilde. "I should revert now huh?" You said, letting out a tired sigh as you placed your hands on your hips.
Brundilde hummed as she placed her index finger on her chin as if she were deep in thought. "Yes, it would seem now would be the best time to do so," Brunhilde said as she nodded her head, her eyes closed as she did so.
"Alright but I will warn you now, I'm not sure how it will play out." You told her honestly as you placed your hand on the back of your neck. Letting one more sigh leave your lips you stood up straight. "But not to worry, my human self will still be strong enough to beat a God. I will win, you can count on me."
.....
"Now then, the Gods are at 3 wins, and Mankind is at 3 wins. Such a tie will be broken in round 7 of Ragnarok!" Heimdall spoke, his voice loud for everyone to hear.
"Fighting for the Gods, a very resilient God. A God that has captured the hearts of many, both God and Mankind! Tought in this fight he will fight against the very humans that respect him." The door on the side for the Gods opened. Stepping out a tall man with horns that resembled that of a sheep walked proudly.
"One who maintains the winds of the earth, causing catastrophes with a single blow. I present to you all, the god of wind Ryubu!" Ryubu was standing tall, a sly smile on his face as his sharp teeth were on display. His golden eyes shining with a gleam.
The sun highlights his green-ish skin, his white hair brought back in a braid. He brought his hands up, waving to the gods who were cheering for him. With each step he took the silver bells on his purple pants chimed.
"Wow, it's Ryubu! That's Lady Y/N's right-hand man. He will surely score us a point!"
"Hell yeah!" The cheers continued as Ryubu finally stopped in his place. The cries of mankind only dare to make him laugh.
On the stands, the humans that you had once met when they were once living winced at Heimdall words. "Wait Y/N-sama? She spoke too fondly of him! It can't be! Did you turn against us as well?! She would never turn against us, right? It can't be..." The human spectators cried as they stared at Ryubu.
Heimdall let out a cough as he continued to speak. "Now, on the opposite side of the Gods, the only woman that will be fighting in Ragnarok." At his words, everyone went silent, eager to find out who would be representing mankind.
"They say that her soul was once of that of a God! A living reincarnation of a God many know for leading mankind to their rightful path."
Ryubu felt a shiver go down his spine. His blood ran cold as he proceeded to the announcer's words. He had heard those very words a million times. "A God known for leading Mankind to their rightful path." He knew it, others began to draw the same conclusions as Ryubu had.
"Her soul had fallen to earth and a human strong enough to defy the Heavens was born. Her presence alone gave hope to mankind, giving them a reason to find who they are."
"To their rightful path? No...he can't be talking about her could he?" Someone muttered.
The lights surrounding the arena shut off. A singular light shone at the door that the representative for mankind would walk out from. "Representing Mankind, Hoshiko Hanae! Aka Y/N, Goddess of Change!!!"
The moment Heimdall stopped talking the doors opened, a gust of smoke enveloping the arena. Stepping out you held your staff in your hand. It was taller than you as the bottom was slightly above the ground.
Finally, the smoke cleared everyone was silent as you looked around the arena a playful smile on your lips. There was silence but after a few seconds, both anger and happiness were present.
"Bullshit!" Multiple of the god spectators yelled out. "She is just like that traitor, Buddha!" The Gods enraged, continued to throw poisonous words.
While the humans on the other hand cried tears of joy. "Y/N-Sama!!!" They cried out to you. "Hoshiko-San!! Thank you, thank you!"
Smiling at them, you turned to face the people you would be fighting for. A smile on your lips as you waved at them. You then began to face your opponent with the very same smile you gave the humans still on your lips for him to see.
Ryubu looked like he had just seen a ghost and his hands began to shake slightly in discomfort.
Up in the stands, the Gods who were certain that you were the last god to fight in Ragnarok against them, were left in shock. "That...Y/N!!" Zeus in anger gripped his seat so hard he managed to break the armrest.
Beside him, Hermes was wide-eyed as he quietly gasped at the sight of you. "Oh my, I certainly wasn't expecting this turn of events," Hermes spoke calmly as he brought his hands behind his back.
Below Zeus's V.I.P area was another set of high end seats. 3 Gods sitting, peace on their faces as they waited for the match to begin.
A few feet away, Odin just stared at the scene in front of him. There you stood almost unbothered. He noticed how you looked about the same.
Though your body was a bit more muscular, your hair was slightly longer than it was before. There was a certain shine in your eyes he had never seen before, as well as your ears were a normal human shape and no longer pointy.
In all honesty, he wasn't the slightest bit shocked to see you fighting against the Gods. On the other hand, the person next to him was so shocked that their jaw dropped to the floor. Loki stared at your figure, his mouth closing and he gulped.
He wasn't expecting to see you down in the arena. His chest tightens at the thought of the possibility of you losing. As much as he hated seeing you fight against what he believed to be trash, he hated the idea of you losing even more.
He knew Humans could break easily, the previous matches confirmed that. But of course, there were also times when Mankind had scored points. "Damn it, Y/N..." He mumbled as he laughed quietly. His hand comes to grip his hair harshly as he bites down on his lip.
On another set of V.I.P seats Shiva and Aphrodite also stared off in shock. Aphrodite being more angry than anyone else let out a stream of sinful curses. Her face darkened, she hated that it just had to be you who was fighting for the lives of people she looked down upon.
Shiva, on the other hand, let out a chuckle as he spoke to himself. "That's just like you Y/N. Always finding a way to help them."
Aphrodite turned her head to look at him. "Why are you laughing!? This is a serious matter. Even if she wins I doubt she will redeem herself in the eyes of the Gods. What is that woman thinking?!!" She yelled out as the men holding her breasts shivered in fright.
"If the other Gods don't respect her anymore I doubt she would care. I still respect her, and you should too, Aphrodite." He grumbled
In another place, someone was watching the scene unfold on a TV screen. A big grin on their face as they sighed in contentment. "I'm rooting for you, Y/N, or better yet...Hanae. You better win, and then when I win I promise to give our relationship a shot!" Qin laughed.
Cheers could be heard around the arena, from both you and your opponent. Looking around the arena you looked around in annoyance.
"It's still weird for them to be calling me Y/N...can't they be more respectful and call me by my actual name? I guess that Valkyrie was right..." You mumbled as your eyes darted to the Valkyrie that had spoken to you earlier,
Up in the viewing area, Brunhilde stood alongside Göll. A gigantic smirk on the girl's face as she seemed to be already convinced that you would win.
"Eh...sister? Are you alright You're acting kinda scary.." Göll murmured as she pointed out Brunhilde's facial expression. "I'm sorry Göll, It's just that, Hoshiko Hanae is radiating the same will Lady Y/N has. They truly are the same being! This round...is ours for the taking!"
