A/N: here's chapter 10 for ya guys, this chapter will take place just before the Tenrou Island Arc however I will have the characters explain what happened while Danny and Kagura were gone and what happened on Danny and Kagura's mission.

Timeskip
Danny and Kagura stepped off of a train that had just pulled up to Magnolia Station. Kagura looked to her brother with a sorrowful expression with Danny turning his head to meet his sisters gaze, he had a hood covering his face however Kagura could only see his eyes. "Come on sis I don't think anyone will notice". Kagura just shook her head in response as she and Danny began their walk back to the Fairy Tail guild hall.

Inside Fairy Tail
The guild was its loud self with most people drinking alcohol and yelling at the top of their lungs. However at one particular table far at the back of the guild it was less loud. Lucy's gaze was fixed on the window as she let out a heavy sigh. A petite girl with fair skin with long dark blue hair that seems to reach down to her waist, the girl also has brown eyes. The girl was wearing a dress that has a triangular pattern near the top and a crossing pattern around the rest of the dress, she was wearing a thick golden band around each of her biceps and ankle tied sandals."What are you thinking about Lucy"? The blue haired girl asked as Lucy turned to the girl with a small smile and replied."I was just thinking about my boyfriend, its been a few months since he and Kagura went on that quest". However before anyone could say anything the doors to the guild hall opened with a heavy slam causing all the noise to die down and everyone's attention was drawn to the door way to the guild. 

"I didn't think we had been gone that long". Danny remarked with a smirk on his face but before he, Kagura or anyone else could say anything a blonde blur rushed towards Danny but before they reached Danny the blur stopped dead in their tracks and covered their mouth with their hands as small tears began to form in their eyes. Kagura leaned to Danny's ear and whispered."I think someone noticed". Danny shook his head slightly as he gently grabbed one of the females hands and guided her to the infirmary with Kagura and three other females following suit. 

In Fairy Tail's Infirmary 

Danny sat down on one of the beds as he look the blonde haired female in eyes as he spoke. "Hey Lucy". Danny voice slightly cracked when he said his girlfriends name as he could see the pain in her eyes."What happened to you"? Lucy cried as tears began to roll down her cheeks, Danny let out a half hearted chuckle as he reached up and removed his hood showing Lucy the true extent of his change. Just as he did this the door to the infirmary swung open to reveal Kagura, Erza, Levy, Irene and Makarov as they all saw what had happen to the Lightning Devil Slayer. Danny's eyes had permanently changed to a bright red colour and the right side of his hair was now pitch black, not only that Danny's entire right arm was pitch black with a weird light yellow tribal like symbol on his right forearm. 

"Danny my son, how did this happen to you"? Makarov echoed Lucy's question as Danny let out a deep sigh as he replied."That job was a fake Gramps, it was a trap set by the dark guild Nemesis Fang. As we got closer to the guild a few members tried to ambush us but we took care of them fairly quickly but when we entered the guild hall itself we were attack by every member of Nemesis Fang including their master. These guys were no joke they used forbidden magic as well as strong magic infused weapons, Kagura was about to be killed by them and she was surrounded by like 10-15 members and I just lost it. I don't remember much of what happened after that only what Kagura has told me". Everyone's attention turned to Kagura who added. "Danny proceeded to kill every member of Nemesis Fang, I couldn't hold him back and he only stopped when he collapsed from exhaustion". 

A shocked expression was now on everyone's face as Danny let out a low chuckle as he gave Lucy a quick kiss on the forehead as he said."It's okay Luce I'm back home safely now". Lucy first looked at everyone who was standing in the doorway and gave everyone standing there a look as if to say 'leave now'. Once they were alone Lucy turned back to her boyfriend as she smashed her lips into his. After a minute or two of making out Lucy then panted."Never leave me alone again, I was so happy to see you come back and to see you scarred from your mission had me scared like you wouldn't believe. So please never scare me like that again". Fresh tears began to fall from Lucy's eyes as Danny used his thumb to wipe Lucy's tears away while he replied."I'm sorry Lucy, I never meant to hurt you like this but I promise that something like this will never happen again". 

Lucy nodded her head in response as she stood up and took Danny's hand and led him to the door however before they left the infirmary Lucy quickly turned around while standing slightly on her tip toes as she whispered in Danny's ear."If you can get through the res of the day without causing any mischief I'll give you a reward when we get back to my apartment". Danny nodded his head while whispering in response."I look forward to seeing what this reward is". Danny then gave Lucy a quick slap on the ass and left the infirmary to see his sister and mother.
