At the time of the day, the sun was shining over the Khanna mansion. Avneil entered the room and Daisy was in Avni's arm.

Neil: Avni, let Daisy roam here and we go and get her things.

Avni frowns.

Neil: what? we have to set her corner where will she sleep? Hmm. And you know how choosy she is about her things.

Avni smiled. Neil too smiled.

Neil: so let's go to get her things.

Avni: but your office?

Neil lowers his eyes and he moves his finger by making a pout. Neil looked at Avni and leans toward her. Avni was looking at him.

Neil: nothing will happen if I go late office one day.

Avni was surprised to hear that. Neil moves back.

Neil: and that is my office, I can go when I want. And today, I don't have any meetings so I can go later. Now, if you are done with your questions then can we go now? Hmm.

Neil smiled. Avni smiled to see him.

Avneil came into the room by carrying the boxes and kept them at the side. They took out the bed and tower. Avneil set the tower of the cats and then they sat on their knees and grabbed other things. Neil pushed the box of the toys to the side. Avneil holds the small bed at the same time, Neil's hand was on Avni's hand. Avneil looked at each other and their eyes locked. They heard the sound of falling something and they saw Daisy falls the box of the toys and is playing with them. Avneil smiled. They looked at each other and they realised that still, Neil's hand is on Avni's hand. They looked at the hands and then they looked at each other. Avni looked down and she took her hand back. Neil looked down and he got disappointed. Avni keeps the hair strand behind her air. Neil sets the bed in its place.  Avneil was still sitting on the floor on their knees. Neil was sitting at one knee and one foot. Daisy came and jumped on the bed, Avneil were surprised to see that as she jumped between them. Avneil looked at each other and smiled then they looked at Daisy who was laying on the bed. Avni ruffles Daisy's hair.

Avni: naughty girl.

Neil smiled.

Avni: you dropped the toys and now lays here, hmm. Who will clean that? Hmm?

Daisy closed her eyes. Avni opened her mouth and Neil smiled. Avni also smiled to see Daisy. Neil sighs to see Avni happy.

Neil in mind: at last, I became the reason for your smile. You are looking so pretty while smiling. I wish you always smile like this.

Avni looked at Neil who smiled.

Later, Neil got ready and Avni was standing beside him near the dressing table.

Neil: I am going, Avni but I will come in the evening and you know what you have to do?

Avni smiled and nodded. Neil smiled.

Neil: good.

Neil holds Avni's upper arms and kissed her forehead.

Neil: take care.

Avni smiled.

Avni: you too and drive safely.

Neil: I will.

They smiled.

Neil: Bye.

Avni: Bye.

Neil smiled and goes. Avni was looking at him. Avni thinks.

Later, Avni was sitting on the bed in her room keeping the pillow on her lap and she saw the flashes of last night and Neil's surprises. Avni was smiling. She also saw the flashes that Neil filled the sindoor in her hairline and made her wear the mangalsutra. Avni holds the mangalsutra in her hand and kissed that. Avni thinks and was smiling.

Avni's phone rang and she came back from a dream world. She turns her face and picked up the phone from the side table. She saw Neil's number and smiled. Avni received the call.

Avni: Hello.

Neil was sitting in his cabin and was keeping the file at the side on the table.

Neil: Hello, Avni.

Avni: yes, Neil.

Neil was busy finding the file and was in hurry.

Neil: Avni, please pack my bag, I have to go to a three-day conference in Delhi.

Avni's smile faded.

Avni: Delhi?

Neil stopped and he realised that he did not tell about that to her. Neil squeezed his eyes and pinched them.

Neil: Aa, Avni. I am sorry, actually, I totally forgot to tell you that. Even I also had forgotten about it and now Dad reminds me. We have to go today. I am sorry, I know, I should inform you earlier.

Avni remains silent. She was happy after days and again it was snatched.

Neil saw whether the call is on or is disconnected. Neil kept the phone at his ear.

Avni came back to reality.

Avni got hurt and her eyes gets moist. At least, he can come home.

But Avni cuts the call. Neil saw the call is disconnected. Neil thinks.

Avni was panting and tears fall from her eyes. She wipes her eyes and sighs deeply. Avni got up. On the other side, Neil was thinking about Avni.

An aeroplane take off and Neil went to Delhi.

At the time of the night, Avni was sitting in the room and was thinking about something. She was happy in the morning and a tiny ray of hope had woke up in her heart but it blows off before rising. Avni was holding a cell phone in her hand, she looked at it and thinks. Neil did not talk to her after that phone call so she was a little worried for him. She also asked Shweta but she said that she also doesn't know. Avni had no other option other than call Neil. Avni dialled Neil's number and bits her lip.

A phone was ringing in a room but no one was present in the room. Avni was waiting for Neil to attend the call but no one received the call. Avni looked at the phone and she thinks. Avni heard the footsteps and she saw Shweta enter the room. Avni got up.

Shweta: Avni, I talked to Prakash Ji, he said that he went to Goa to meet his friend who was in trouble so he could not make to go to the conference.

Avni was looking at her.

Shweta: but don't worry, he said that Tillu has reached Delhi so relax.

Avni: Did he talk to him?

Shweta: yes. He said that Tillu called him.

Avni in mind: can't he make a call at home?

Shweta: now you also sleep. I am going to inform Bebe, she was also worried.

Avni nods.

On the other side, a door opened and Neil came after getting fresh and was wiping his hair with the towel. Neil looked at his phone and thinks. Neil squeezed his eyes and pinched them.

Neil: oh no, I forgot to inform Avni that I reached Delhi, she must be waiting for my call.

Neil throws the towel on the couch and he goes to the bed and saw 5 missed calls. Neil saw them and two calls grabbed his attention, one was from Avni and two calls were from Shweta.

Neil: tch. Neil, how can you be so careless? Tch.

Neil was about to dial Avni's number but he heard a knock on the door so he put the phone on the bed and he goes to open the door where he saw DD.

Neil: what happened?

DD: sir, Mr Shah wants to talk to you, he is online.

Neil glared at DD who looked down. Neil took the phone and keeps his hand on the speaker.

Neil said in a low voice: you could not make an excuse?

DD looked down.

DD: sorry, sir.

Neil calms himself and wears a smile.

Neil: Hello, good evening Mr Shah.

Neil talked with Mr Shah and he opened his laptop. Neil cuts the call and he and DD discussed something on the laptop. After two hours, DD goes and Neil locked the room and huffs. Neil remembered something and was shocked. Neil came to the bed and picked up his phone. Neil saw the time and it was 11:30 pm.

Neil: tch. Avni must have slept till now.

Neil keeps his arm down.

Neil: Tch, this DD. Idiot, Duffer.

Neil looked at the phone and again keeps his arm down and wipes his mouth.

Both Avneil was laying on the bed and were thinking about each other. They turns their side and saw the empty bed. Avni caressed the bed sheet and Neil was thinking about Avni. Avni's eyes were teary, she closed her eyes a tear falls from her eye. She wipes that and thinks. Soon, they slept.

The new day begins and Avni wakes up, she wipes her eyes and picked her phone but no phone call, no message from Neil. She thinks.

Avni was getting ready and her phone rang. She saw the phone in the mirror and she goes to get it from the bed. A smile appeared on her face to see Neil's call. She instantly picked up the phone.

Avni: Hello, Neil.

Neil: Avni.

Avni was glad to hear Neil's voice. On the other side, Neil's condition was also the same. They did not say anything as both were going through the same emotions. Avni had tears in her eyes and was grabbing her wrist as the phone will fall from her hand. She was smiling.

Neil: Avni.

Avni: hmm.

Neil: say something.

Avni: hmm.

Avni didn't want to show that she is crying so she cuts the call. Neil saw the call is disconnected. Neil thinks and sighs.

Later, Neil closed the door of his room and was passing by the corridor. Neil stopped and he took out his phone. Neil called someone.

Neil: Hello. Avni.

On the other side, Avni was sitting on the bed and now both were feeling better.

Neil: how are you?

Avni: fine. How are you?

Neil: now I am better.

Avni got worried.

Avni: why? What happened?

Neil: I was missing my wifey now I heard her voice so now I am feeling better.

Avni did not react to that. Neil smiled.

Avni: Did you have breakfast?

Neil: no, I was going to the cafe. Did you have breakfast?

Avni: No, I just got ready now I will go.

Neil: oh, ok.

Neil licks his lips. He wants to talk to her but didn't understand what to say. On the other side, Avni was also feeling the same.

Neil: Avni, I am sorry, I could not inform you. I was about to call you but DD came and then...

Avni interrupts.

Avni: you forgot about that.

Neil instantly replied.

Neil: no, we discussed the project and when I got free, it was too late so I thought to talk to you in the morning.

Avni in a low voice: you could send a message.

Neil heard that. He looked down.

Neil: I am sorry, Avni, I...

Suddenly someone comes from behind and jumped at Neil and Neil stumbles a bit.

Neil: Juhi.

Avni was shocked to hear that.

Avni: Juhi?

Neil looked at Juhi who was laughing.

Avni in mind: Juhi and Neil are together.

Avni thinks and her eyes got tears.

Neil: what was that, Juhi? What if I fall from here?

Juhi: how? I won't let that happen. I would have saved you.

Neil gives her a look. Avni cuts the call and was panting and her eyes were teary. Neil looked at the phone and saw the call is disconnected. Neil thinks.
