"So Ezra, how do you two know each other?"

Oh no. Crap. Madeline just coughed and awkwardly sat on her chair. I looked at Ezra, and he gave me a worried look. What did we have to do? And then Ezra just started talking.

"I met Aria at a bar. She was drunk, I brought her home, slept on her couch, when I woke up I gave her my number, she texted me, we started dating, and yeah, that's the story of how we met!" Ezra said and gave me a smile. Great backup plan. Great backup plan. But I'm not gonna play this game again. I changed the rules.

"No."

"No?" Ezra asked nervously

"We have to tell them the truth."

"What truth?" Calvin asked

"Ezra, Aria, what is going on?" Scarlett said.

"Me and Evan are going upstairs now, I think you need some time to talk and I think it's better if me and Evan just don't be there" Madeline said. She jumped of her chair and dragged Evan with her.

"Ezra didn't met me in a bar." I said nervously twisting my hair. Ezra grabbed my hand.

"Mr. and Mrs. Moore. I'm Aria's English teacher." He said

Calvin and Scarlett looked at us in horror. They both looked like they just saw a ghost.

"No, this can't be! This is not true!" Calvin said, raising his voice.

"It is! Really! And I love him"

"He is your teacher Aria!" Calvin yelled at me

"Yes! Thanks for telling me Calvin! I was just forgotten that!"

"Aria? Please tell me this isn't true!" Scarlett said

"It is! And if you can't handle that than go seek for another daughter because I'm gone here! I'm not gonna give Ezra up for my fake family!!" I yelled

"You should be thankful we let you in this family!" Calvin yelled, with tears in his eyes

"It really hurts Aria. We love you! But we can't accept you sneaking around with your teacher!" Scarlett cried out

"Then go look for another daughter!" I yelled out

"Aria stop. I'm not gonna let you give up your family for me. They're way more important than I am. I think it's better if I go now" Ezra said

"Ezra no wait!"

"Goodbye Aria"

And with that Ezra was gone.

"ARE YOU HAPPY NOW? NOW EZRA IS GONE? HE WAS THE ONLY ONE I TRUSTED FOR A LONG TIME! HE TOOK A BULLET FOR ME!" I yelled at Calvin and Scarlett. I was furious

"Can't you see it Aria! It doesn't matter what he did for you! He's your freaking teacher! It's freaking illegal!"

"Guess what? Kicking your daughter is also illegal! Run into you daughters boyfriend is also illegal! Kidnap your own daughter and shoot her boyfriend is also illegal! But guess what?! It all happened to me! So I don't fucking care what is illegal or not!"

"Aria, we've accepted a lot of things. But we can't accept this. You can't see Ezra again. You're grounded!" Scarlett said

"Screw you!" I screamed and walked out of the house

Great. Now everyone was mad at me. Ezra, my parents, my whole family is I think. I drove to Jason and just walked to his bedroom.

"Hey Jason"

"Hey Aria, what is going on? You seem upset!"

"it's nothing Jason, I'm not really in the mood to talk about it. Can't we just drink some alcohol and relax?"

"Well, okay, if that's what you want"

We drank some wishkey, watched some netflix and ate some icecream. Again. It's like our signature meal. Just like pie is Ezra's and mine signature meal. Or was. I don't know. I don't know if he ever wants to see me again. Of course he wants to see me again, but not like, girlfriend/boyfriend. I don't know. It's so confusing lately.

That was the good thing about Jason. He didn't care if I wanted to tell him something or not. Maybe a real friend should do that, but I was glad he didn't. It makes things so much easier. Jason and I just ate the icecream for a while. We really had some fun, but I was really upset. I needed one of the girls now. I texted Spencer if I could come by, and she said yes. I drove to Spencer and walked to her bedroom. We sat on her bed, and then Spencer asked

"Hey Ar, what is going on? You seem really upset!"

And there it was again. I had a total breakdown. I started to cry and breathe heavily.

"Shh Aria, it's okay, it's okay, what is going on?"

"I screwed things up with my family"

"What why?"

"I told them how I met him"

"Wait, you met who?"

"my boyfriend"

"Wait what?! You have a boyfriend this whole time and you didn't tell me?! You sneaky bastard!" Spencer yelle to tease me

"Ha. Ha. Very funny Spence. But don't worry. I think I don't have a boyfriend anymore"

"Is that why you're so upset? Because you broke up with your boyfriend?"

"We didn't break up. He just walked away"

"Oh my god, that's even worse"

"Jup"

"But tell me, who is that mysterious boyfriend of yours?"

"His name is Ezra"

"Ezra who?"
