I had woke up early so I could get some training in. I walk down the hallways and I open a door to enter the training room. There isn't anyone in here so I won't be bothered, I can make up for all the days I didn't do anything.

I start to stretch and I think about my reason for doing all of this. Of course I have to protect Hinata, but it was for my own benefit first. I have to be the best, that's what all of this is for. I didn't work all that time for nothing. I won't let such things ruin what I've worked so hard for...

I am about to start my actual training until a voice interrupts me from doing so. "I figured I could find you in here. Why are you down here so early?" Kakashi walks up to me and crosses his arms. I turn and I face him before speaking. "I'm training. I have tests to take in a few hours, don't I? I'll get my training done now and later today. That's the most important thing after all, right?" I tell him and he gives a shocked look before nodding. "Okay then Naruto, I'll come back for you in a little." He says and his eyebrows furrow as he is in thought. "You are showing improvement quite fast. I might have to send you back early, maybe tomorrow?" He says and he uncrosses his arms.

"I'll continue with my training now." I tell him before bowing and going back to what I was doing. He walks out of the training room and I get back to work.

It had been about two hours and Kakashi came back to get me for my tests. We walk down the hallways and we enter a room that takes us to a pool. "Is this another new method?" I ask him and he nods once. "It is a similar method to what we used to do but now it's just water. You'll see how it works in a little. Don't worry too much though, you'll be fine." He says and a guard points to a chair.

I take my seat and they start to tie my arms and legs together, restraining my movement. They place a harness of some sort around me and they start to add bags to the hooks. "This isn't as bad as you try to make it sound." I tell him and another guard comes with something in their hands.

"Open your mouth." They say and I do, only for something to be placed in forcing my mouth open. "You'll begin now." A guard says and they force me to stand up. I stand and I don't move until they push me back into the water. My body goes beneath the surface and water fills my mouth before I come up. My body starts to go down again and I move around to try and stay up. "The bags get heavier with more water. Try to stay above the water." A guard says and another guard appears.

I keep myself up for several minutes before the guards pull me up from the harness. They remove the object in my mouth and I close it. "Let's start with the questions. What is your job Naruto Uzumaki?" One of the guards ask and my mind goes to what I've been doing. "My job is to protect Hinata, I am her bodyguard." I say and the guards nod once before continuing. "Why do you train Naruto Uzumaki?" They ask and I furrow my eyebrows. "I train so I can keep Hinata safe." I answer and they shake their heads.

One of them start to add more bags to the hooks and then my mouth is forced open with the object. They push me back into the water and I sink deeper before slowly coming up. My mouth fills with water making me cough and the bags get heavier, weighing me down. I try to keep myself up but the added weight brings me down in the water. After the same amount of time, the guards pull me out again and they pull the object out of my mouth. 

"What is your job Naruto Uzumaki?" They ask me the same question. "My job is to protect Hinata, I am her bodyguard." I say the same answer and the guards nod their heads before continuing. "Why do you train Naruto Uzumaki?" They ask again and I frown before answering. "I train so I can keep Hinata safe." I answer again and they shake their heads.

They add more weights and they place the object back in my mouth before pushing me in. This time I go down to the pool floor and I come back up in need of air. The water fills my mouth and I thrash around trying to keep my head up. They pull me out of the water before asking me the same questions.

"What is your job Naruto Uzumaki?"

"My job is to protect Hinata, I am her bodyguard."

"Why do you train Naruto Uzumaki?"

"I train so I can keep Hinata safe."

The same process happens over and over. The water surrounds me, my body going down with the added weight. Darkness around me and darkness meeting my vision. The pressure and the frustration building up and the same feelings but worse. The questions and answers play throughout my head. My mind seems to cloud up and my thoughts from before seize as I finally think of the correct answer.

I finally come up with the truth to it all. I find the real answer and what I actually am doing. My mind seems to clear up and all other thoughts disappear. It was all some trick question, making me think of the wrong thing the entire time.

The guards pull me up for what would be the last time. They remove the object from my mouth and they ask the questions.

"What is your job Naruto Uzumaki?" They ask and I answer with the same thing.

"My job is to protect Hinata Hyuga, I am her bodyguard." I tell them and they nod once before asking another question.

"Why do you train Naruto Uzumaki?" They ask me and I smirk as the answer comes to my mind.

"I train so I can be the strongest and the best out of everyone. I can't let anyone pass my success with all the training I've done." I say as I realize the answer and what I've really trained for.

How could I think anything else? Nothing will ever be as important as my ranking and success from all my training. Nobody is to get in my way or else I would kill them.

The guards remove the harness and they pull me up before walking me to the door. "Is he finished?" Kakashi asks as he walks in and the guards nod. "Good, let's go then Naruto." He says and I follow him out of the room. We walk down the hallways and we go to his office and we enter before taking our seats.

"You've shown much improvement and I think you are ready to go back. I will take you to Hiashi tomorrow and you will continue with your job. You've trained to become better okay?" He explains and I nod.

"I probably shouldn't have done this but I'm telling you now, I didn't give you tests to make you forget what you really want. Your memory and thoughts will be changed for now but soon enough, it will all come back to you." He says and I frown in confusion.

"Are you saying my thoughts and training aren't for what I say they are?" I ask in anger and Kakashi sighs. "Calm down Naruto, you will know what I mean soon." He puts a hand up before continuing.

"Even though Hiashi Hyuga requested that you don't do anything with his daughter, I refuse to stop your own feelings. I made sure the tests I gave you would have a temporary effect. The rest is up to you to fix." He says and I think about what he said.

Is there something I'm not getting? What is he talking about? Why won't he just tell me what he means?

"You could go eat and then rest if you would like. I will take you back tomorrow so pack your bag to leave." He says and I stand up. "I'll be training, it's too important to skip right now. Thank you for the information you have given me, however I don't think I'll need anything from that." I tell him and I bow before walking towards the door.

"What have I done?" Kakashi sighs and I exit his office before going down the hallways to the training room. I can't afford to lose on my progress, nothing will come before for anything.

Hey! I wrote this really quick because I was supposed to have an update done since Friday. I was going to finish it earlier today but I was busy.

Anyways, how was the chapter? This is the twenty-fifth chapter!

I will try to update again and publish late or I'll publish tomorrow.

I didn't go to school today and I'm not going tomorrow. Our break also starts Wednesday so I will be able to write more for you all.
