Yeyeyeye I was scrolling through brujo_ari's art on pinterest and some of his mini silly comics and I remembered a little funny idea I never got to draw out.

.I swear, alec looks sm like how I draw his dad when his hair is short. Although this is behind the scenes AU so he doesn't have daddy issues- or any issues-

Idk. It always appeals to me when ppl draw versions of fictional characters from show's of them being actors. It's so fun to look at and imagine them goofing off on a sets.

Like imagine Evan and the his band goofing off on the stage at Eveylns house while recording the Christmas episodes that'd be so FUNNY LIKE RAHAGGAG

But yuh, I wanna rewrite the story bc I don't like my OG oneshot. There were some factors I enjoy but the rest are meh.

Lile the likes for me are: Brittany forming a punk band (maybe forming with Evan in the exiled angels) and getting backlash for the songs they sing and the lyrics. (Like actual child stars that become adults and sing more adult things (Like Brittany spears and Olivia Rodrigo).

I like the idea I'd Alec ending up one of the most popular and famous even after the discontinuation of the series (Funneh his 1st but he's a very close 2nd). causing him to always be in the spotlight. (Since he was always fan favorited in the fandom and everyone loved him and he ALWAYS had to be with Funneh an stuff.)

And I always liked the idea of Gold being the main story writer and director in universe since she's the one who had the main idea of YHS irl. (Based off of Funneh's "draw my life" vid where she mentions Gold encouraging it. Idk if they mention it anywhere else tho, if anyone knows lemme know cuz I'm curious.)

And maybe after the series discontinuation in universe I could have like, continue doing writing stuff in secret.

And I think lastly I sorta lile the idea of Kyran being kind of a slob, not rlly a full on alcoholic like in the old version but I feel as if he'd still be somewhat struggling. I was contemplating on maybe his parents stealing the money he'd make off of acting. I don't know if I'll do that but I do think that maybe he'd make probably one of the least amounts of money.

(given at the time when YHS was popular and discontinued he was never very popular from what I've seen. And then more recently he develops a bit of a cult following atleast bc I've actually been finding newer well draw Kyran fan art on pinterest, theres a fan base on there which is neat :3)

But yeah that's all I've got rn.

I was just doing body types for em that are actually accurate too how I imagine them. Chubby Alec is appealing to me.

(Also fun fact, the mols on Kyran's arms are in the same places my moles are on my arms :])

OMG HI EDIT AFTER PUBLISHING I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE MANDATORY KYLEC STORYLINE.

It's still in the works obv obv but the reason I made Kyran less popular or known in this AU is also bc I wanted a thing where they're opposites in some way, like how they are in series but the roles are kinda swapped out of series.

"Roles" meaning that Alec isn't as problematic, actually kinda happy amd is overall doing good but Kyran's more struggling and longing to actually be involved in Alec's life but knowing His own past appearances within mainstream formats, Alrc might not want someone who might drag him down.

I'm gonna alter it a bit or even a lot more bc it's pretty similar to them in series just in a few different ways but I have ideas for little comics and art pieces like one of them is Kyran after a job somewhere and just chilling in his apartment, watching TV and as he scrolls the channels it's. All. Alec. A interview, a sponsorship, maybe appearance on another show. It's all him and then just Kyran throwing his remote at the  wall in frustration- it's supposed to be goofy but that sounds kinda depressing when I reread this out loud.

And another for an art piece was lile- have you seen that picture of a dude staring at giant billboard with a beautiful women on it?? Yeah I was thinking of doing something Similar like that. Alec on a billboard for something and Kyran walking by it.

I wanna do more with the other characters. Omg I remember that I made Prince's real name Henry in this AU. It actually suits him but idk if I'll keep it. I'd like to think Prince was always a nickname in series tho, kinda like how Senpai's real name is Kai.

Anyway with Alec and Ky. I wanted to do a storyline where it's Alec being persistent on befriending Kyran again since they were most likely buddies on set when they still filmed together. And Kyran's just being a depressed insecure little bitch boy he keeps denying like "No.. just leave me alone." (Giving Shane from stardew valley, just a tad nicer LOLL)

But eventually Kyran warms back up to Alec and ther become friends and stuff. Idk what I'd do to lead up to that said them being married thing but it would happen eventually >:)

WHAT IF SINCE EVERYON ALWAYS SHIPPED FALEC AN STUFF AND OUTRAGED WHEN FUNNEH WAS SHIPPED WITH SOMEONE ELSE, IT LEAKS INTO THEYRE ACTUAL LIVES AND THEN ALEC AND FUNNEH END UP IN A ARRANGED MARRIAGE TOGETHER SO THEY ACT LIKE LOVEY IN PUBLIC BUT BEHIND THE CURTAINS THEY JUST TWO BESTIES PURSUING OTHER PPL PPL

LIKE I COULD SEE FUNNEH JUST DATING EVELYN OR EVAN OR JUST SOME ELSE IN GENERAL AND IS HAPPY WITH THEM AND THEN CONTSANTLY JUST GIVING ALEC LIFE AND DATING ADVICE AS SHE SETS HIM UP ON RANDOM BLIND DATES ALL THE TIME, THAT'D BE SO FUNNY TO THINK OF. LILE A MONTAGE OF RANDOM GRINDER MATCHES FUNNEH SET UP FOR ALEC IN A RESTURANT AND THEY ALL JUST FAIL OVER AND OVER-
