Xingqiu you are one busy student of mine.

I grabbed my bag and started to lock up the lecture hall, I walked out of the academy and got a text message from Baizhu.

Baizhu🐍 - Hey, could you go watch Qiqi's play? I told her I couldn't make it and Uncle Zhongli would come so thanks.

Fine, I will attend Qiqi's play - Zhongli🐉

I sighed once again as I proceeded to drive to Fatui Elementary. I pondered on about what the play could be about, before I realized I have gotten to my destination.

I parked and entered the school, I found my way around quite easily and found the school's gym/theater.

I sat down in the second row closest to the stage, the lights dimmed down as I was right on time.

The play finished with Xiao, Qiqi, Venti, and Klee walking out on the stage and bowing. I headed to the back of the stage to greet Xiao and Qiqi.

"Xiao, I wasn't informed in on this play, I'm surprised you agreed to it in fact" I said

"I only agreed because both Qiqi and Klee were asking, and Aether kept begging me to go sing too" Xiao replied

"How kind of you, but you could at least have told me"

"I did, you were busy with grading though, I didn't want to disturb you, so I left you a note sir"

How thoughtful of him, ever since I bought him at the auction, he changed for the better. The place he used to reside at treated him horribly, and he still has the habit of calling me "sir"

"Xiao, just call me dad, alright? I won't hurt you" I smiled gently

"Yes si- dad" He stuttered

I turned to leave when Xiao stopped me.

"Oh yeah, Qiqi's teacher needs to talk to you about her"

"What room is Qiqi's class?"

"64 on the second level"

"Thank you Xiao" 

I patted his head and headed off towards Qiqi's classroom.
