They walked simultaneously together into the station, but Connors breathes were short and tight, not in sync. He kept glancing over to the Lieutenant, scanning and analysing, every hair, every wrinkle, every bump. Of course he had his flaws, but Connor didn't label them as that. He was curious how he never realised how...perfect the Lieutenant was. He pursed his lips, now he felt as if he were being a 'prick' as Hank would always quote. Sex made him realise that? They hadn't exactly spoken a word to each other since it happened, Connor knew, without having to see the scowl that had permanently taken up Hanks expression, that he would of regretted it. He didn't have alcohol to blame it on, which Connor realised was some form of defence, to protect him from the truth.
Connor glanced over to Hank again, was he gay? Is that his truth? But that only caused him to scrunch his face up in confusion, thinking about his own sexuality.

They finally had reached their conjoined desk, Connor felt extremely vulnerable, as if everybody knew what happened last night. The last thing that he needed was socialisation, he wanted to curl up in his own thoughts and ponder the relationship that had formed between him and his partner. In the months of him being deviant, having free will and free thoughts, this had been the closest he had to experiencing any true feelings for another thing.
He was awoken from his thoughts by someone clicking their fingers impatiently in front of his face, "Connor!"
He looked up and blinked, "Gavin?"
"Yes you fucking tin can, we've got a case remember?"
Connor furrowed his brows, "Yes, sorry," He let out a breathe before looking over towards Hank, "Let's go."
Hank had his head in his hands, his grey hair had fallen and concealed his face. He gave a small grunt in response.
"The fuck is up with you both?" Gavin scoffed.
"Yesterday really hit hard, with Cole and everything." Connor lied, covering for Hank. Though in a sense he wasn't lying, it really did hit hard.
"Give us a minute Gavin." That was the first time Connor had heard him speak today, and he sounded sad. Gavin frowned, but didn't question, and walked back to Richard. Hank dragged his hands down his face and groaned, before looking back at Connor. Their eyes met, before they both quickly glanced at a nearby object or person.
"I want to be honest with you, Con." Hank said grudgingly, "This, whatever the fuck this is, is not going to work out."
Connors lips parted in shock, and he felt his stomach- if he had one - drop. He shook his head slightly, "Do you not feel anything, between us?"
"Look, I don't want to sound like an asshole but just forget all of what's happened. I don't know what the fuck has gotten into me the past few days. Just don't get attached to me."
Connor nodded sadly, the mere idea of been able to forget was alien to him, "Right, Hank-"
"Call me Lieutenant." Hank said, his voice cold.
Before Connor could respond, Hank had rose from his desk, and was already walking towards the others. He sat stunned, unable to move.

He wasn't able to focus on Dale, and began to get quickly annoyed by his scattered sentences and phrases. Connor breathed out heavily, unable to even look at the android without wanting to put a bullet though his pump regulator.
"I just need to know if these men had any distinct features, or if the room did." Connor snapped.
"Another man, another man, another..another.." Dale continued, rocking back and forth.
Connor felt his internal heat levels rising, "I will ask you this one more time, did they have any distinct features?"
The android continued his chanting. Connor tensed his jaw, unsure if being able to stop himself from lunging at the android would be possible for much longer. The door to the interrogation room opened and Hanks voice called out, "Connor it's not working."
He stood up immediately, at such a force that his chair flung back and hit the wall behind him. He looked over to the android, who had stopped chanting, and was cowering in his seat.
He brushed past Hank as he left the room, ignoring the murmured comments that escaped his lips.

[[This one is super short but I feel as if nothing else can be added in this chapter, I feel really bad for Connor aaargh :( ]]
