The new school wasn't bad. It wasn't expensive and was much tidier, and the halls weren't filled with the smell of smoke and weed. Plus, the lights actually all worked.
Their old friends would come and visit sometimes, even joining the school's dance crew despite being outsiders. It was great for the two.
They entered the cafeteria together, looking for a table until they heard their names get called. "Hyeonggeun! Jaemin!"
Hiroto. They'd met him on the first day of school when he offered to tour them around, soon finding out that he was actually the student body president.
"Hiroto, hey! I thought you'd be eating at the council room again." Jaemin teased, sitting across from him next to Hyeonggeun who was to his left.
"It's the hustle life, dear friends." He said dramatically, the couple laughing at him. He was also the only person in the school who knew about their relationship, the others being their old friends.
"You complain all the time, but you run every year. What's up with that?" Hyeonggeun asked. Hiroto had been the president for three consecutive years, beating even seniors.
"What can I say? The system loves me." Hiroto said sarcastically, Jaemin flicking water at him with his fingers, making him gasp.
As the two bickered, Hyeonggeun couldn't help but feel something forming in the pit of his stomach. And no, it wasn't nervousness or guilt this time. But rather something else that he'd been feeling more lately since transferring. Jealousy.
It was natural for Jaemin and Hiroto to be close, both of them being the same age and all. He just didn't like how clingy Jaemin was to him. He was clingy all the time, but he attached to Hiroto almost like glue to the point some people thought it was the two of them that were dating.
As he was reaching for his chopsticks, he accidentally tipped over his glass full of water onto himself, completely soaking his uniform. "Shit!"
"Hyeonggeun! Come on, I'll take you to the bathroom to get changed." Jaemin was quick to react, taking Hyeonggeun's hand and excusing themselves as they made it to the bathroom.
"Do you have any spare clothes?" He asked, taking the younger's bag and digging through it. Though, he was interrupted when a hand was wrapped around his wrist, pulling him in. A firm hand was planted at the lower bottom of his back, keeping him in place.
"You're so close with Hiroto hyung, it's driving me crazy." Hyeonggeun said through half-lidded eyes, other hand gripping the older's jaw. "Is there something I should know?"
"We're just friends, you know that. You're his friend, too." Jaemin rolled his eyes and placed a peck on his lips, the other still pouting. "Come on, you can do better than that, Minnie hyung."
Jaemin sighed endearingly before pulling him in with his hands behind Hyeonggeun's head. Their lips danced, hunger building up as they grew hotter and hotter.
Hyeonggeun drank him up like his favorite drink, swallowing the little noises he'd make each time. They pulled away for a split second just to take a breath, before attaching to each other again like two magnets.
The brunette's hand trailed down to the hem of the other's wet shirt, playing with it teasingly as he let him wait for more.
"Shit, not here." Hyeonggeun panted out, parting their lips with nothing but a string of saliva left to connect him to the older. His eyes lifted to see Jaemin's distressed look. Lips red, cheeks flushed, and his eyes hooded. It was dangerous to him.
"If you say so." Jaemin dropped his hand and escaped from Hyeonggeun's grip, returning back to looking for clothes for him to change into. "Wha- hey! I wasn't being serious!"
"But you're right. We can't just make out in the school bathroom."
"People make out by the lockers!"
"And not in the school bathroom." Jaemin found his gym shirt and handed it to him. "Now go change."
Hyeonggeun pouted with a groan before changing into his gym shirt, shucking the wet one into his bag— not like he had anything good in there, anyways.
As soon as he was done, Jaemin intertwined their hands. "Now, come on, Hiroto's probably waiting for us.
"Seriously? Still thinking about Hiroto hyung?"
"I don't when we're at home. That's gotta count for something, right?" Jaemin said matter-of-factly, enticing a sweet giggle from his boyfriend who kissed the back of his hand. "Yeah, that counts."
