Owen Grady
We heard a roaring engine noise from across the bushes, leading us to the old Jurassic Park garage, as obvious from the logos on the cars. We rushed towards the garage, and I found a gray sweater on the ground.
"This one of theirs?" Yes, I was upset that there was nothing to prove that Jessie was alive, but I'm just praying at this point.
"Oh, thank god." Claire was relieved. I looked around the cars, wondering how the hell they did this. One car was obviously missing, and I don't remember teaching Jessie how to fix a car. Yes, a motorcycle, but not a car.
"How the hell did they even get one of these things started?" I asked, to no one in particular. I rummaged through the shelves, trying to find something to help get the car started when I realized I didn't even open the trunk.
The trunk refused to open, well, for the first try. The second was interrupted by a loud and terrifying noise being made from the outside, causing dust to fall from the side of the walls. I ducked, while Claire took a terrified breath in. Claire ran behind me, touching my back, while I let my arm protect her and make her stay there. Another similar noise was made, and we sat down against the front of the car. Fear was running through my veins, however I know how to handle this. I did this before. I looked around, trying to spot my gun resting around the side of the car.
Everything was in slow motion.
I slowly started reaching out to grab the gun, but the hybrid's feet stomped right in front of it, making my reflex bringing me back upright against the car. It lowly growled.
I turned to face Claire, shushing her silently as I felt its breath near me. I closed my eyes and squeezed her hands. A creaking noise was made, as the dinosaur made contact with the car, pushing it to the side. For some reason, it failed.
I just needed to get my niece back and come out alive.
