tw: emo lyla uwu black, drunk addict

To say Lyla was lonely was an understatement, her best friends have been ignoring her ever since they accused her of trying to steal James.

She sat alone at breakfast, in classes, and in her free time. She didn't mind it though, it was like that when she was their friend.

Lyla enjoyed the silence, she was just alone with her thoughts.

She was internally already annoyed that there was gonna be a party tonight in her common room. She didn't plan on going, considering she had no one to go with.

She'd be up all night, with the loud booming in her ears.

Lyla's day dragged on slowly, half falling asleep in each class. She finally finished all of her lessons for the day.

She walked down to the black lake, her signature spot for studying.

She leaned up against a tree, pulling out her charms homework.

Footsteps follow her line of sight, looking up to meet an identical pair of eyes. It was Regulus, with a small smile on his face meeting his older sister.

Lyla smiles tiredly, "Reg." She smiles, "Finally someone who doesn't hate me."

Regulus laughed, "What's got your knickers in a twist?"

"My friends hate me." Lyla laughs pathetically, "So I've basically been alone for the past week."

Regulus grins, "You could always hang out with my friends and I."

Lyla grimaces, "Your friends that hate me?"

"They don't hate you." Regulus laughs
"They hate Sirius." He clarifies.

"Well Reg, I might have to take you up on that." Lyla grins while wrapping an arm around his shoulder.

"I heard Gryffindor is having a party tonight." Regulus suggests, "With alcohol."

Lyla ruffles his hair, "You're not going. You're a third year."

Regulus pouts, "But I'm your favorite."

Lyla nods, "Don't tell Sirius that."

"Anyway I should be going, Evan and Barty want me to hang out with them." Regulus gets up flicking Lyla's head.

"See ya Reg." She says goodbye while fixing her hair.

Lyla eventually made her way back to her dorm room, flopping onto her fluffy bed with a loud huff.

Lyla quickly fell into a soft sleep, her mouth hanging out with a small trail of drool.

1 hour later...

A loud pounding below lyla awoke her frantically, she grabbed her clock to see that it was now 10 pm. Oh shit the party she thought.

She tried to call back asleep by covering her ears with a pillow, but nothing would work.

She eventually decided to screw it and get changed for the party.

She pulled on a tight mini dress, it was a dark blue color. She quickly brushed over her dark long hair, putting on a swipe of cranberry colored lipstick as she passed.

She stumbled down the stairs, immediately being met with dozens of recognizable faces. She saw her two "best friends" and decided she needed a drink. She walked over to where the fire whiskey was and poured a large amount into a red plastic cup.

She didn't stop pouring until the cup was almost to the rim. She gulped it down not caring about the sting.

She felt the liquid quickly go to her head, her movements becoming slurred and slower.

"Lyla?" A voice she never wanted to hear again calls out, "Are you okay?"

Lyla glances over at Luke, the boy who she'd never forgive. She rolls her eyes and tries to walk away.

He grabs her arm in a gentle but firm grip, "Look Lyla, I'm sorry." He tries to plead, "I was drunk."

She scoffs obnoxiously, "Yeah well Luke I'm drunk right now but you don't see me calling you names!"

She stumbles away from him, not missing the way he calls her name.

"Talk to me when you're not fucking wasted!" He yells angrily as he watches her falter over her own feet.

She simply throws him the finger over her shoulder, not caring while grabbing another drink and chugging it down.

Lyla walks up to Lily with a furious expression on her face, "This is for slapping me you bitch." Lyla takes her drink from in her hand and throws it directly onto Lily's face and smiles as it drips down onto her brand new top.

Lily screeches, "What the hell Lyla!" She shoves Lyla back away from her and drags Marlene past her.

Lyla just stumbles backwards with a huge grin on her face, she pouts when she feels someone take the remains of her drink away from her.

She tilts her head back to see James Potter's concerned eyes glancing down at her with worry in them.

"You've gotten into a bit of trouble tonight huh?" James smiles while holding onto Lyla to keep her upright.

"James?" She questions just now realizing how drunk she was.

"Jesus. How drunk are you?" He brings her to sit down on the couch.

She makes a finger estimate while tipping over on the couch, "Not that drunk."

"Sure Lyla. Sure." He rolls his eyes while picking her up bridal style.

"I'm gonna take you back to your dorm." He taps her face, "Okay Lyla?"

She slumps her head over his arm, "Kay James."

Lyla hears him tell Sirius something, not paying attention and half asleep.

She eventually feels the soft embrace of her bed and smiles when he tips her on her side.

"Be careful." He warns while turning off the light, "Goodnight."

Lyla smiles, "Night James."
