Alia sighs as she removes her spectacles and places them aside on her bedside table. She knew this day would surely have come; the day when Ranbir would cheat her.

"This is a piece of breaking news that Ranbir Kapoor is spending time with his new co-star while he and Alia are not spotted together from the last 6 months. Ranlia's story is taking new twists and turns. Will Ranbir break up with Alia? Will the new girl steal him from Alia? Stay tuned for more updates"

She shut the TV and sat on her bed. Tears began to flow from her cheeks. "Why Ranbir? What was my mistake? I knew you would cheat me but still, I loved you. Was that my mistake? I signed Bramhastra just to spend some time with you. Was that my mistake? I accepted your proposal knowing very well that you were just attracted to me and nothing else. Was that my mistake?" She whisper-yelled.

On the other hand, Ranbir was roaming in his room worried. "Will you tell me what happened?" Varun decided to speak after watching the show 'roaming around silently' for an hour. Ranbir finally stopped and turned to face the great Varun Dhawan. "Ask what not happened" He tried to sound calm but in vain. "Yaar she betrayed my trust! She has used my friendship for building her career! I never thought that she will spread rumors of us dating!" Ranbir spoke angrily.

Varun stood from the bed and placed his hands on Ranbir's shoulder. "You know what? These all are not the reasons for Ranbir Kapoor's tension. The actual reason is that you are worried about Alia" Varun spoke calmly. Ranbir sighed and sat on the bed looking down. Varun sat beside him. "Dekh, (Look) I and the world see the love in your eyes for her. But she feels that you are going to betray her one or the other day. I know her from her debut, from the day she said that she wants to marry you. She loves you very much Ranbir and you do too. Just think about it" Varun says and leaves the room. Ranbir gets drowned in thoughts of her.

Varun came out of the house. He dialed a number on his phone. "Hello, Mrs. Shraddha Kapoor Dhawan. Sab taiyyar? (All set?)" he speaks. Shraddha blushes from the other side. "2 saal ho gaye magar aaj tak blush karti rehti ho (You are blushing since 2 years)" Varun smirks. Shraddha frowns. "Sab taiyyar hai bus Alia phone kar hee rahi hai (All set. Alia is going to call in a moment)" Shraddha answers still angry with his tease. "Arre meri maa gussa baad mein kar lena abhi plan pe dhyaan do (Get angry later. Now focus on the plan)" Varun says while indirectly apologizing to her. "Maafi kabul hui (Forgiven). Take care" Shraddha smiles and cuts the call. Varun smiles too.

Ranbir's phone starts ringing. He picks it up. "Hello, Alia Main tumse kuch... (I want to...)" Ranbir is cut off by Alia "It's over Ranbir. You can date anyone you want now". Ranbir could sense her tears. "Alia why are you crying?" He asked concerned. "Goodbye" she plays numb to him and cuts the call.

Alia breaks down in her room. She wipes her tears as she hears footsteps outside her room. Shraddha opens the door. "Come on yaar. Get ready naa. We have to go for the promotions" Shraddha said with a smile. Alia nods and Shraddha leaves the room.

 Alia and Shraddha were doing their first movie together, which was slated for release the next day. Alia quickly puts on her make-up and combs her hair and leaves for the cab with Shraddha, sitting quietly throughout the ride.

"Alia come" Shraddha's voice brings Alia back to her senses. They come out from the cab and Shraddha pays the driver. They walk to the place where the press had gathered on the road waiting for them. Shraddha genuinely smiled while Alia forced a smile to the media.

The reporters took out their paper of questions and were about to ask them the questions when a voice came from Alia's behind and everyone turned to her side. "Alia I know I have taken you for granted. I know I never paid attention to you. I know I am useless. But if you will be with me, I will be like you wish. I will always be on your back and I'll be protective of you. I will never let you cry. I will keep you smiling, even after you become a granny. Will you marry me?" Ranbir appeared from nowhere and bent down to Alia with a box in his hand. He opens it and Alia finds a shining diamond ring in it. Shraddha awed at them. Alia's eyes filled with tears. She immediately hugged Ranbir while the media clicked them and yelled "Congratulations Ranlia!"

Shraddha claps with the media smiling at Ranlia while Varun hugs her from behind and whispers "Sorry". Shraddha acts innocent and asks "Why?". Varun opens his mouth wide open while Shraddha bursts into laughter and they hug each other. Thus, Ranlia and VarShra lived happily ever after.
